I have been a few times but this last experience made me never want to go again. The nail tech (instead of properly soaking off my acrylics) used a fake nail to wedge between my nail and my acrylics to pop them off. It was extremely painful and he dug into the top of my nail to get reminding pieces off with a sharp tool. He then filed down on already sensitive nails and continued to do so even when I told him it hurt. I left bleeding in two places and my fingers were all sore the next day. read more

Great little spot. Everything you need and more. This is a family ran establishment. The people here are friendly and competent. I gave them one star because even though I had an awful experience, my technician was very nice and apologetic. First off they only had one man there and I had to wait over an hour for just a pedicure. When I finally got in the chair he still was bouncing between me and this other lady (she was getting acrylic nails). When he finally started to groom my toes he was very rough and ended up messing up my toe nail shape by cutting diagonal into the nail and right into my nail bed. Words cannot explain how bad it hurt. He did this on both of my big toes and my left toe bled the most. I had to yelp "ouch!" before he stopped and apologized. At this point I just wanted to jump out of the chair but I stayed because I'm new to the area and was in desperate need for a pedicure. It's way to hot in this city to wear close toed shoes! I am very sad because I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years and never had I gotten fungus until I got my nails done there at T&D's I noticed that they did not sanitize anything that was used on my hands, the place is super filthy, the nail files were not sanitized and now two of my nails have fungus, they don't use disposable bags for the pedicure too. Now I can't get my nails done because I need to wait for my fingernails to get better. Now I'm scared to get my nails done. read more

my first time here based on others positive reviews. I showed up at 240pm and there was only one staff member in the building who told me the person who does waxing was on lunch and would be back at 3pm. I told her I didnt mind waiting the 20-15min. After 40min of waiting the waxing lady was still not back from lunch. I asked the one staff member if he waxing lady was going to show up and she told me she didnt know. What a waste of time! While I was waiting, I noticed the place is not very clean and there was rotting fruit on the counters. Glad I didnt risk getting dirty instruments on my face. read more

I had an ok experience. Gel manicure was sloppy, it wasn't shaped perfectly to my nail. The manicure got wrinkly after a couple days, like the gel was curling up or something. I got there about 40 mins before closing and they didn't take me because "they were waiting on someone else" how unprofessional and rude!

I only give 1 stars because the owners are at least polite/nice. Beware of this place, i went there for my lashes one day, they cost $30 as a "sale" price. The lashes did not last long, after 2-3 days they were already wilting & hanging. idk what glue she uses but it sucks & ive been getting lashes for years & have never had that problem. I didnt get them wet or anything of that sort but they still don't last. I've gotten 3 pedicures there & 3/3 times, my pedicure lasted ONE DAY. NO KIDDING,. idk what type of nail polish they use or base or top coat, but i got my toes done around 12pm, i went to bed that night around 1am & i woke to find that the nail polish slid right off of 2 toenails in my sleep? umm how? this happened twice & i have to go back & make them fix it. Also, they always cut my toenails crooked, its like they have NO PRECISION at all which is important in cosmetology. One of my toes is always cut OKAY & The other one is literally cut slanted, even other nail salons have looked & told me that she isn't cutting it correctly. I also got a full set of acrylic nails done once & they weren't even at all. All nails were a different length/shape, she didnt even check to see if they were correct. AGAIN, PRECISON? NOPE she also put the acrylic way to far over on my thumb skin & it end up ripping my thumb skin clean off & i started bleeding under/the side of the acrylic. i went to get it fixed & the man there fixed it for me & refused to take the nail off, i wanted to to remove it just in case of infection. he just clipped the skin off & filed/reshaped the nail. even he saw it was too far on my skin, the actual acrylic. never again will i go there, my husband was so upset & i took him there for the first time. read more

My daughter and I just left T & D Nails. I am very disappointed, when we walked into the door, we weren't greeted nor were we acknowledged. We literally stood there for several minutes waiting for someone to say something (mind you, they were looking directly at us). Needless to say, we just turned around and left. Absolutely the worst pedicure I have ever received. My toes look like they have been chewed on by a wolverine. I didn't realize while it was happening that the old woman doing my pedicure cut angles at the corner of my nails. 8 hours later, they are red and raw looking. When she was cutting the cuticles, I told her she was being rough; this seemed to set her off even more. I don't know if she was in a bad mood or just didn't like the way I looked, but judging by the damage done, she was determined to wreck a lot of damage. I hope I do not get an infection from what she did. I know when my nails start to grow I am going to have a HUGE problem with them becoming ingrown. A very disturbing, disgusting experience. read more
