Thank you Dino jeff Rogers Local Guide·27 reviews 6 minutes ago New After months of internet searching for the bike that I wanted to revive my passion in riding, I had the good fortune of finding the perfect person to do business with right in my backyard. I had my eyes on a 2007 Fatboy Harley Davidson. I immediately went to see it and it looked like it came out of a showroom. For 15000 miles on the road, it looked like it was stored for 18 years and was never exposed to asphalt. After 20 minutes of keeping the owner outside in the sweltering heat talking about the bike at almost his closing time, we shook hands and I knew this was the man to do business with. I came back the next morning and signed all the paperwork and he took me through the orientation of the features of the bike and rode it home. I'm a senior citizen and have been riding bikes and judging people for countless years. If you're looking for your first or another bike for riding whether you live in New York or Los Angeles this is the guy to do business with. All his bikes, and he had a stock of many, were just as clean and reasonably priced as mine. If you see anything in his inventory that catches your eye, don't waste time looking the internet further, call him and grab it with the confidence I was fortunate enough to feel in a person to person visit because you won't go wrong doing business with Dino.

I took my sons 2026 Honda crf110 there to have a new inner tube put on the rear tire. They called and said the bike was ready. I get there and the tire is still flat ok stuff happens. I left the bike there and the next day they called or actually I had to call and they were waiting to see if the tube was going to hold air on there second attemp. I picked the bike up and brought it home and I test rodeit before I let my son ride it and I noticed the rear brakes did not work. They put the back tire on wrong are you kidding me did they test drive my child's bike, did they even test the brakes did the person who worked on my sons bike even know what he was doing?? I was going to let it go but I felt that I needed to let the service department manager Jack know what kind of work he was sending out of his department and he was defensive and rude. He thought I was there to try and get my $120 back for the inner tube repair. I told him I was there to let him know that my son could of gotten hurt and they need to pay more attention to basic very basic repairs. I only went there because I live in north port and it was closer than Ft Meyers or Sarasota but they are basically minimum wage idiots at Destination power sports and could care less about return customers. I have pictures lots of pictures of their work. I'm not a mechanic but obviously the people who work there aren't either.

Don't know whether it's the large overhead that causes him to treat you like a dollar sign rather than a valued customer, but let's proceed. I have a 2013 GMW R1 that was purchased at this store. It has been the only place the previous owner and I have ever brought it for repairs, so all in all this guy has gotten decent business from us. Every single time, though, Mike has to talk in a condescending manner. I'd bring the bike in to get the valves adjusted, which is a normal thing, considering it was my only means of transportation. He always phrased it so I thought I was doing something wrong and then he'd charge me $90+ for something I'm later finding out is a 15 min fix tops! Not even this is the biggest issue, though. So he goes away for a few weeks to Canada, closing the shop down. The valves need to be adjusted. So I learn how to do them myself. Get this, the bottom valve adjuster had the nut forced on and rethreaded so the whole thing had to be taken out, and continued to be rethreaded it to adjust it. Not cool, but it worked. Super simple process, but I made the mistake of not tightening down one of the nuts enough, so it came loose and got lost. Hoping to buy one from him or maybe get some help identifying the size, I call Mike. He starts belittling me for working on my own bike. He starts going on about how he doesn't have the time to look up a five dollar part. I mention how the bottom valve's nut had been forced on and rethreaded, and he loses it. He sounds very nervous and starts talking in a super quick pace telling me that it wasn't him and sorry he can't help me. Blown away, I searched for other places that could help me out. Luckily the people up at Scooter Shack in North Port took the time out of their day to not only identify the part, but order it online, and mail it to me when they got it. The lady was absolutely patient, understanding and worked with me the whole way through. Oh, and come to find out they do full service tune ups (valve adjustment, full oil change, air check, etc) for the same price it takes to get your valves adjusted at Harbor Scooters. Never going back to Mike's.
