    breakfast meal and a BLT

The food was served hot, and the portions were generous! We got great value for our money--didn't pay much for such a satisfying meal.

Very cute bakery and nice spot to eat with friends! The staff is super friendly and the prices are pretty good. The waffles were good and you can't go wrong with a classic breakfast with eggs and bacon.

    Blueberry pancakes with bacon.

If you are not in the rush, this is the best place to experience the small town diner style restaurant. The portions are very generous and tasty. The home baked pastries are amazing. This place is far better than all those chain restaurants. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Yes... this is a Bakery... And no... it's not a Chinese Supermarket. Now that's out of the way, let chat about T&T Bakery. From what I understand, this place is the OG of Main Street Markham North. Decades old and maker of some good eats. I only noticed this place as it was next to a popular pastry place that opened last year. Been through the area but I never really had the urge to run inside. What made me go in? Well Social Media... they decided to put up an Instagram Page! Et Voila!!! And that's how Social Media works! What caught my eye was their Meat Pies. Lord knows I live a pie... or three! :D Beef and Turkey pie for $2.50 each! What... seriously? I must try! And you know what!?! I DID! Walking in, it was a bit in disarray - then again, we are in lockdown and most places have been doing what they can to keep the doors open. Where I could imagine tables of people enjoying lunch and perhaps coffee and a scone; were empty chairs and a couple of staff waiting on customers. None of that matters though, this little bakery is making the best of it by serving walk in customers both new and existing. Decades of solid business in the area means loyal and happy food munchings. Now.. I came for PIE! I got 6 of them - 3 Beef, 3 Turkey. These are your standard meat pie tin sized and not those large ones from places like The Pie Commission. As I was taking out (no choice - damn you lockdown!!!!), the pies were not heated and ready to eat. I just popped them in the toaster oven and to really enjoy them, I made some gravy. Who doesn't like a little gravy... teeheehee! Overall, I enjoyed the pies. Like the beef over the turkey one. Filling was good and the crust was a bit crunchy (maybe I should ask for heating instructions next time - duh!). It's not as savoury as other places, but it does hit the spot. I was told by others that they have some great sandwiches and burgers too! Something for consider if you happen to be in the area. As I've been saying in my reviews, please do support local businesses. Those chain places don't need our support like our small biz do. BTW - the excuse that you are in a rush and need a drive-thru... Really? Don't we have a little too much of a spare tire? A little too much junk in the trunk? Aren't we all card carrying members of the Covid-19lbs club?!! How about getting out of the car and going for a walk! Get some takeout while you are out! OMG... CHEERS!

One of the worst breakfast places, the meat pies were bland, I'm not sure why this place is so packed, the cheese danish is okay, worse than average breakfast place, my breakfast is elevated since I been to so many places but this is not even close to par,

This family-run bakery is a popular spot for the locals. My friend goes there every weekend and I was invited to join his ritual. This is how I found out this place. They make all breads in house everyday. The breakfast and sandwiches are very affordable and you can customize any item like half order, change the type of bread, etc. You can get a coffee refill for $0.7. Love to support local business!

    Ham & asparagus Quiche!

Omg, I ordered a ham and asparagus Quiche. When I picked it up it was piping hot! By the time I got to Oakville with it, it was still warm. And that was three hours later. Everyone just love it and yet it was so good the next day warmed up in the microwave. The service was so friendly and I felt it was run by the whole family! I will be ordering many more quiches from them. This place is a greasy spoon GEM!

    $0.86 for a scone.... WHAT A STEAL!!!!

This is literally your mom-and-pop-hole-in-the-wall-kind-of bakery and cafe. I was introduced to this place by some of my friends and since my first visit, I have been coming back again and again. The food here is made super fresh from scratch. My favourite is their quiche. They give you a nice 1/6 of a pie and only charge you $3.75 for it. WHAT A STEAL!! A delicious quiche for only $3.75 was something you could get a decade ago with the crazy inflation that we have now. Also, the scone is only 0.86 each--like whhaaaattt????!!! Each of these scones are made from scratch daily and just tastes heavenly. Be sure to ask for some butter on the side with your scone, it is just perfect! They also sell pies and desserts took that are so delightful. The slice is so huge that it's perfect for sharing with a partner during your visit. Aside from the price being right for my wallet, the downside is definitely the wait to get your food. T & T Bakery and Cafe has a system where the person who takes your order prepares your food, it does take a while--especially if there is a long queue in front of you. I highly recommend coming after the peak around 2pm, and it's quite quick to go in and out of the cafe. Another downside is that they only accept cash, when everyone nowadays carry plastic or their phones (Apple Pay). As well, the cafe does not seem to have any a/c so the place could get pretty hot... I remember standing in line and just sweating from the summer heat. Despite all this, I would still return to T & T because of the quality of food and the price. Maybe I'll see you there?!

Ordered #1 and the person who took my order was kind enough to let me replace the bacon with extra egg! They were patient as well. Unfortunately the food wasn't that great, except for the poached eggs which were done well. Beans were quite watery and bland. Potatoes had black burnt bits on them and some were raw. Overall my food was bland. The outdoor seating was more spacious than the indoor seating, but just FYI it's loud because cars will be passing by. I felt that the inside was a bit dirty and unfortunately I didn't feel too comfortable sitting there. Will come back to try out their baked goods though!

T & T Bakery and Cafe has be around forever, at least since I remember but I never been there! When Yelp Princess said let's meet here for a quick bite, and she had only 1 hour to fit me into her busy schedule...I said YAY! T & T does have this small town charm where everyone knows everyone and customers are addressed by their first names. Food is good and solid. Nothing fancy but homey food... One might feel a little out of place but the wait staffs here were all super nice.. I will definitely drop by for a quick bite... it beats going to fast food joint for breakfast/lunch any time!

Location: Bayview North of Steele's in the Longos plaza Parking; There's a lot of free parking. It's pretty busy because the longos and it's near a Ramona's kitchen. But there's always parking. The place,: It's tiny when you first walk in you go to the spot where all the bagels are and you pick them using tongs into a bag is pretty tight in that area and you go around to where they bring out the bagels and then around where they're sweet treats and a counter. At this counter if you grab a bagel you can give it to them and get a sandwich made out of it my favorite is a toasted chicken salad no vegetables. You pay extra for vegetables and I'm too cheap to pay like a dollar for some cucumber. They have all different kinds of bagels the most popular is the rainbow bagel because more often than not it is low or not there. But don't fret because they're constantly making bagels all day and chances are there's something that's still warm to the touch because they've just brought it out! You also have some cooked food such as falafel and other things I've never ordered it but I know people that haven't said that they really like it. I am sticking to my chicken salad bagel. I think the chicken salad is delicious. I do notice that a lot of people get the egg salad and my friend swears by the smoke salmon and cream cheese. It is seriously tiny so the seating situation is zero but people don't realize, or some people don't realize, that that's actually a little mall and if you exit the store on the side you come upon a seating area where there's about 20 seats.. I've never not had a seat. I would like a lot? Yes of course I've been back many times this is one of my favorite bagel places. And let me say it again because I don't think the million other times I said it was enough, I love their chicken salad sandwiches.

And The tuna is not the best as well. I wished they used solid white tuna but obviously it is a cheaper tuna product. They have been here a while though so they must be doing something right I try to stay away but come back every few months to torture myself. Do I recommended? Hard to say. If you want a below average bagel, maybe some low quality tuna or horrendous service? Then be my guest. I'll still get my bagels from Bagel World or Kiva's They are much better products than here.

The kaiser bun is so soft, the meat is freshly sliced then stacked high, options of mustard, cheeses, lettuce and tomato. It is quite the exercise for old jaw to unhinge to its max to make way for enjoyment of his meat combos. His famous Roast Beef is cooked to a rare-medium, not well done like at the supermarket. I would have preferred a horseradish Mayo instead of the mustard, maybe you can ask if that's an option on your next visit. The Fight Club is an assortment of meats, and for $8.50 it's a great deal. Now these are not Foodie sandwiches, nothing extra unique to be discovered, it's just fresh, quality and made with a smile for you. They also sell frozen meals and soups to go. Super homey feeling and the blackboard styled menu was cool. Owner seemed nice as well. For my order I got takeout on the Friday special - Hot roast beef sandwich ($8) and a chicken samosa ($2). At least subway will put it in an oven. The samosa was pretty tasty though.
