I never leave reviews but this was pretty unfortunate. while the owner was very nice, she botched my nails. I've been getting my nails done for years, I've never had a bad experienice...today was different. i went because it was close to my house so i fi id try it out! I showed a simple pink nail, it started great, the shape looked good but the second she put the polish on I knew it wasn't going to be what I'd hoped for. It was thick, bumpy, uneven, and all over the surrounding skin. It wasn't even the color I asked for, sadly): but regardless, I ended up asking them to just take it off. It wasn't a polish or color issue, it was a technique issue. They cute the nails but left the nubs on. one kind lady tried to file them to make it look nice but at that point it had already been two hours, because randomly in the middle the owner started working on someone else. I normally never stand up for myself in situations like this but i genuinely couldn't walk out with those nails. I ended up walking out with botched nails and pretty sad): unfortunately, I would not recommend this place to my fellow nail enthusiast. I have basic needs when getting service. I have a manicure, pedicure, and waxing services. I have my toe nails painted and finger nails painted with clear nail polish. I do watch the Meticulous Manicurist on YouTube. No, you don't need a plastic liner in the pedicure tub nor gloves. I believe establishment is following proper hygiene protocols. The worst mani pedi I have ever received!!! No body in the place. I thought it was because it was late August and western was between terms. Being the only person in the place. One tech did my pedi and one tech did my mani. Both techs only spoke to each other in their native language. The pedi tech cut my cuticle, on my left big toe and started putting some kind of ointment to stop the bleeding. The mani tech told me I have a hang nail and they wanted to cut it out. No!!!!! I said. Leave it alone. The pedi kept saying she was sorry. She was the worst tech ever!!! She was rough and stern with her movement of my feet. I have never ever had the worst experience like this!!! And I have never had such negative experience for such a simple mani pedi no polish procedure. I hope, I do not get an infection! FYI. I came here because my usual place was closed and I really wanted my acrylics removed. I called and asked if they could remove my acrylics and do a shellac manicure. They said yes. I already had removed two of them at home (they popped off). I went in and the lady immediately cut my nail down to a stub before i could say anything. I was really bummed because i had been working hard to grow them out under my acrylics. I guess she thought I came in for a fill (though i mentioned twice i wanted acrylics removed) I understood it was a mistake and said i would jut get a fill and continue growing them out. So i got a fill with two repairs for the tips i had already removed at home. The first tech was kind of aggressive with the electric filer and it hurt. One of the new tips the second tech put on was way shorter than my other nails and they were poorly shaped. I fixed them with a file at home. Finally, I went to pay and the lady said it would be $55. The price listed on the wall for a fill was $25. I asked about it and she said i had 2 new tips so i had to pay for those. I explained to her that the reason i came in was to have the acrylics removed, but the tech cut my nail way too short so I was forced to just get a fill. Idk why i should have to pay for repairs i didn't initially want? So she lowered the price to $40. I'm still not sure how we got from $25 to $40 for a 30 minute fill. They also did not cut my cuticles or put any lotion/oil on my hands/fingers. (#1 nails does this down the street and they charge less! They do a great job there!) read more

I'm not one to complain but think I should give everyone a heads up! I zipped into an empty salon Mon afternoon with the intention of a manicure! The gals convinced me that I needed a pedicure too so I agreed. The gal in charge was Anna. She was great. The gal working on my feet avoided english. I specifically asked for a sander on my feet & was assured they had one. This is where the trouble started. The foot gal got her cheese grater out & I said nope. Then she got her callous remove solution out & put it all over my feet. Within seconds my feet began burning. I put my feet in the water & that didn't help. It took my insistence of rubbing the solution off before it cooled off. Folks, I have burns all over the foot that had the solution on the longest. Seriously.... I left with a $10 discount. I'm out of town or I would be in there today showing the manager. This the salon in Sehome Village. I think the foot gal should be fired. JUST GET SOMETHING BASIC AND IT WILL BE FINE I went a couple weeks ago as a walk in to just get simple gel and it was great! The tech was super sweet and friendly, and I was very pleased with the results. Today I went in to get a dip manicure done, and I was really disappointed. I showed the tech (different than the first time) the reference photo and she just seemed kind of annoyed. Throughout the entire session the tech just seemed like I was an inconvenience to her, even though I made an appointment in advance, told her over the phone I was hoping to do dip and design, and showed up on time. They didn't have any colors remotely similar to the reference photo so I found two that looked very different from each other on the swatches to still mimic the contrast sort of. I think she kept switching back and forth with the colors so they all turned out the same weird mix and texture. I would have been fine with the off colors if it weren't for the design. The flowers are extremely messy and smudged. Not to mention the shape of my nails are fairly crooked and uneven. Overall, I wanted to really give this place the benefit of the doubt because of how much I enjoyed my experience there the first time, but this most recent session really fell short. I wouldn't completely write this place off, if you are looking for a basic gel manicure they (or at least the one tech who is probably in her early to mid 20s) do a decent job! I've been very happy with the service I have received at T an T Nails. The chairs are comfortable the staff is nice and always willing to listen to what you need. I usually get a pedicare and love the hot wax and the warm stone rub. I have also had a face wax and Anna is very careful and I've always been pleased with the results. I've read some less than good reviews and I have never had a bad visit. So, give T and T a try, I think you will enjoy their salon. read more

Would never go back or reccomend to anyone. The nail tech started gluing the nail tips to my fingers before I'd even decided what I wanted. They were cut shorter than the length I asked for, an in different uneven shapes. The finished product was awful. There was excess acrylic hanging over the edge been of my nails on 3 fingers, and not covering all of my nail on n others. The polish is totally uneven, and was left around my fingers and cuticles. I'm not someone that is usually picky or upset over my nails, but this was too much for me. I spent $45 I wont ever get back, and now I'll have to spend even more to fix the mess that I'm left with. Overall 0/10. The only redeeming quality was that they were fast to serve me and perform the service,but its plain to see how they provide such fast service. read more

Had my toes done with gel. They started to peel off just 3 days later. When I went in to have them fixed, one of the ladies was picking, what I am assuming was lice, out of her coworkers scalp at the nail table. I quickly had my toes FIXED and she charged me $15.00 to fix their mistake. Will never go back! read more

They charge way to much for touching my feet for 10 seconds they rubbed over my cuts multiple times you can see I was clearly in pain then put a really really really hot towel on my leg I had to tell her to take it off and then she just put it right back on didn't even wait a couple seconds for it to cool off! CUSTOMER SERVICE: 4 T&T Nails in Sehome Village was welcoming to walk-ins, including me and the steady stream that came in behind me. The owner and her employees did a nice job managing all the different people who were in progress - nails, pedicures, etc. I never felt abandoned and they always checked in to let me know where I was in the process. AMENITIES: 5 They have great massaging chairs with attached foot baths and are VERY VERY clean and new and the space has great ventilation and lots of natural light. The aestheticians were friendly and respectful and did a great job cleaning up after, so I know that I sat down to a clean station too. They also had little flip-flops for those of us who forgot to bring our own. (That would be me.) THE PEDICURE: 3 When I dip into my purse for a pedicure (which was $25 - pretty standard price-wise), I want to leave with feet that are buffed down to brand-new baby skin. I left here with heels that were still rough and cracked. My aesthetician did a once-over with the pumice, but didn't get Medieval the way I've had salons in NYC do it. When I got home, I noticed that almost every toe was botched in some way - either the polish didn't extend to the edges or OVER-extended and was painted on my skin... or that the top coat didn't cover the whole nail. It didn't seem like they were rushing at the time, but the finished pedicure just didn't shout, "I paid a professional to do this!" OVERALL GRADE: 3 (The actual pedi is weighted more than the amenities and customer service because it's the only thing you actually take home with you!) This is still the BEST PLACE I've been to in my hometown of Bellingham, WA. The other places were hot messes and this place gave a standard-grade pedi with top-notch facilities. Just be VERY SPECIFIC about what you want and inspect the job before leaving. The owner and the people who work here are really nice and were clearly interested in building their business and clientele, so I'm sure that things will continue to improve as they go along. WISH THERE WAS NEGATIVE STARS FOR REVIEW. I'm usually not a picky person when it comes to my nails. But I just went in today to get a nail removal and they completely messed up my nails. They were uneven, deformed looking, my nails got filed down too short with the electric file so my nails are now week and HURT and she tried prying off my acrylic nails without soaking then in acetone like most nails salons have done in the past. Not to mention. The gal hardly spoke any English, there seemed to be conflict between two of the nail technicians (they were fighting and pushing each other) and didn't get a "hello" or a "goodbye". TERRIBLE. If I could give this zero stars I would. I asked for an almond shaped dipping powder look and the woman who I was with beyond messed me up. I only go in once or twice a year to treat myself and this was the absolute worst experience I've ever had. The lady was so rude and kept on hurting me. When she couldn't shape the nail right, instead of adding more powder, she shaved down my nailbed and didn't listen when I told her she was hurting me. At one point she shaved the edge of my nailbed down so much that it created a hangnail and instead of clipping it or apologizing or whatever, she PLUCKED it off of me. When I tried to direct her about what I wanted she would shush me and tell me that it was her job not mine to make it look good ( Ipromise I was so kind in how I asked). A day later and my fingers are still cut up and raw. And the entire time she was being mean to me and dismissive of when I told her she was hurting me. She also was really rough with moving my hands around. Even slapped my hands a few times instead of moving them or telling me how to position myself. I've been to T & T Nails a few times. I only go there in a pinch because it's fast and there is usually nobody there so no wait (not a good sign!) The experience is always mediocre. I feel like despite having nobody waiting in line and lots of open chairs, they are rushed. When she put my sandals on after a pedicure a nail got smudged but she pretended not to notice. They offer a 10% discount if you pay cash. On a recent visit I got my cash out to pay before leaving and the lady at the register still quoted the full price (thinking I didn't know about the discount?) She acted a bit dodgy when I called her out. Bottom line: it's a decent place to go if you want an express mani/pedi but not a high quality spa experience by any means. read more

The service was awful, I came in at 3pm saying I need to be out by 4:30 they said no problem. Yet didn't start my nails until 4. All I asked for was a full set and I provided a photo of the exact shape I wanted. Not only was the service awful, I question if the man who did my nails even had a license. Each nail is a different shape AND LENGTH. And the nail polish was uneven. Two days after I get a FULL set TWO of my nails are broken. They yelled at me for being on my phone yet they literally stopped what they were doing to text people. It was very uneven not the shape I wanted! Anna, the owner, starts out professional, friendly, performing better than average work. Then it goes downhill from there. She is unfriendly, rude, mean and hurts her clients, then goes, 'I'm so sorry!' Yeah, right. Her work becomes less than sloppy, after over two years there. She uses as little polish as possible, which cannot cover for the horrible fills. Oh, and in case you didn't know, they ARE talking about you, when they chatter at each other while they work, as I learned from folks who speak their language. Anna just doesn't know it. This was my 3rd or 4th time walking in here and I consistently get great service with very little wait time! I had a mani/pedi this last time and the pedicure was better than I could have imagined! For $55 for a gel mani and regular pedi it included hot towels, hot stone massage, and paraffin wax on my feet while relaxing in their comfy massage chairs. Such a treat on a rainy day!
