So this is my second review, because my first review was apparently taken down. I am a nail tech from New Jersey and decided to treat myself to a manicure and pedicure. This place was recommended to me from a friend. You know salons that charge you, whatever they feel like it because they figure you're on vacation, and they're never going to see you again? Well, this is THAT place! Despite the price list saying an acrylic fill was $45/$50 and pedicure was $35... I walked out with a bill for $155! They cracked out a calculator and started adding up all these extra charges!! $15 for the chrome powder they rubbed on my manicure PLUS another $15 for the pedicure too! $5 To fix a cracked toenail. $15 for 3 nail repairs. They even charge you to remove the polish from your previous manicure!!!! Again, I am a nail technician from New Jersey. Been doing it for 50 years and NEVER in my life have I charged anyone to remove Polish, gel or otherwise. This is just a tactic to scam people for more money, and it's disgusting. You literally have to fill someone's nails and grind off the color as it is. There's no reason to charge $10 more, so they added another $20 to my bill to remove the polish from my toes AND from my hands!! Absolutely A disgusting greedy moneygrab. So that's an additional $50 between the nail polish removal and adding chrome powder. ANNND 1 week later the chrome is already wearing off...so my $155 (add $25 tip so $180 mani/pedi) isn't lasting more than a freaking week. My last chrome fills/mani I did myself lasted well over a month! Do better T&T. Find yourself a reputable salon that won't rip you off. And I find it funny every 5 star review is from a year ago.

Was recommended by a friend and honestly love the way my nails came out. I hadn't had acrylics for a while so it is so refreshing to look down at my hands and see my nail tech did EXACTLY what I asked for. Her name is Teresa and she is very friendly and professional. She also likes the same kind of nails I like so that made things convenient for me. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the receptionist is extremely ill mannered. Doesn't look at you at all when she speaks and if she does glance at you it's with the most offensive up and down look. Terrible attitude. But anyways, I will definitely be coming back for Teresa!! Don't mind my terrible cuticles in the photo which are solely my fault for the months of damage I've done to them.

Absolutely amazing! Went here with my friend and step mother who doesn't speak English very well. Both of them had an amazing time and they all got us in and out quickly with really nice quality mani and pedis. Everyone there is so nice and they keep up with the current nail trends so nothing is outdated. You could tell them any celebrity and they would know the nails you're talking about. read more

My sister goes to this salon often since she lives in the area. She always sends me pictures of her perfect looking nails. I am in town and decided to go with her this time. We had a great experience. I typically don't do any designs on my nails but they do such a great job, I decided to take a chance and I'm glad I did. They have a clean salon with a lot of techs so you don't have a long wait. They had a friendly and fun vibe and I would definitely return. read more

I get my nails done about 4-6 times per year as I attempt to do my own for budget reasons...but when I go - I definitely go to T&T and I ALWAYS go to Crystal!! I have gone to a few other people in the past and they have been alright, but with Crystal I can honestly get 4 weeks out of my dip manicure! She does such a great job and is always pleasant to me! Even though I'm not that "regular" customer - she always remembers me and is super accommodating! read more

The best place in town for nails. I have tried other places for convenience but I ALWAYS come back here. I am a local I have lived here 33 years. I get my nails, toes and my eyebrows perfected here. I have had lash extensions done here as well and they lasted 2 weeks longer than anywhere else. read more

I was a little skeptical of going to a nail salon without a recommendation from a friend, but I loved T & T nails! The staff was amazing, they gave me recommendations on where I should go in Key Largo and they were very nice. I called before going to see how the availability was in the salon and when I got there I only had to wait five minutes for a seat. My nail tech did a wonderful job on my nails. The prices are higher here than in Chicago. I wouldn't mind if the service was good which it wasn't. I had a no chip manicure and a REGULAR pedicure. My finger nails were lumpy and after I left I realized they were catching on my sweater etc. and I had to refile them. I specified a few times that I wanted a regular pedicure and was charged for a regular pedicure. However when I went to take the polish off I could not remove it! I had to go have it professionally removed. Also, this salon is very loud and crowded with many kids were running around; I prefer a more serene environment. Not for me. read more

T&T is my favorite nail salon in the upper keys! I'd suggest making an appointment ahead of time because they tend to be too busy for walk-ins. If you're stopping in to get acrylics, I'd highly suggest Janet. She takes her time and is always willing to work with me to get the exact design I want-- never disappoints!! Overpriced and cash only; gel mani $35 and standard pedicure is $30. Chay did my nails and toes. He was very nice and personable which made up for the front desk girl. The place is very nice and clean inside. Worst part about this experience was my gel manicure peeled off my first day home (3 days from application). That's a new record. read more

Hands down the best salon I've ever been to! Never have I had no complaints about a manicure or set of acrylics, but Julie is a pro for sure. I could pay no attention at all and I would walk out of here with PERFECT nails every time. And to top it off they are super friendly and love getting to know their clients. First experience was good Went back today for a 430 apt with a friend She got right in and I waited another 25 minutes. I had asked not to sit in the chair until my turn because of a compromised knee. My turn arrives and the technician set down with another client that walked in 15 minutes after me. Although I was able to walk in without an appointment, A high rating takes more than that. It was not peaceful and relaxing as a Mani/pedi should be. They should put on some type of spa music, as my place back home does. It was very loud, there were small children running around screaming and the phone was ringing all the time. It appears to be clean and she did do a nice job on my nails, however they should tell you prior to starting your service, that they only accept cash - so I had to walk down to the grocery store purchase something and get cash back and then go back to the nail salon again after my nails were painted. Not very convenient or time efficient. As I'm purchasing a home here, it will be the last time I go there - I will find an alternative nail salon. read more

I come here pretty often! I love it here. The prices are good and the nail technicians are great! Today I had Vin for a full set and he did awesome. Very talkative and paid great attention to detail. I tried to take my gf, my father, and his gf to get pedis. And they said that they can't take walk-ins after 530pm (which is understandable). However, it was only 5pm (and they weren't busy). We told the lady okay great, because it's only 5 o'clock... and with a nice heavy dose of attitude.. "ohhh, yeah... that's what I meant." Yeah, okay... bye honey. Do not waste the money on a "Deluxe Pedicure" at this salon. Very nice salon in here but the pedicure sucked for lack of a better word. I paid extra because I like the massage and it was a joke. The girl that did my pedicure had a bad attitude and looked miserable to be at her job. Everyone has bad days, so whatever i get it. However, She put my shoe on messing up the paint on my toe in the process. When I pointed it out she rolled her eyes at me and didn't even say anything. Was I supposed to leave with a messed up toe after paying 50 bucks for a mediocre pedicure?? I work in guest services and it just brings the vibration of what is supposed to be enjoyable and relaxing down whenever the person servicing you has a bad attitude and does a half ass job. She didnt even say anything when she was done lol. Just got up and I didnt see her again. worst pedicure experience I have had. read more

My apologies, I tend to be a selfish yelper - I generally read reviews but rarely leave them. However, my gel mani/pedi experience with Jake was so good today that I felt compelled to write. I went to T&T on the recommendation of the Mariott concierge while vacationing. Jake seemed very focused on doing his job, and he was meticulous about his work. Great leg/foot massage. So i needed my nails done and i was trying to find my go to nail salon.. so I saw the reviews and wanted to try them out..well to my surprise i was soo happy with my services from this place. I would definitely recommend the deluxe gel pedicure from Eve! I got to enjoy a glass of wine and have a nice long massage on my feet.. she put a mask on it and it made it feel phenomenal! I was hesitant but it was more than worth it. My gel manicure looked great. I mean i had zero complaints. They all are so friendly and have great conversation with their clients. I will be making this place my only nail salon. I will have to take my hubby with next time. read more

I came here because I was on a mini vacation in key largo and needed to get my nails done ASAP. The place was recently remodeled and looked amazing, very clean too. The nail tech who did my nails was nice, and took his time to perfect my nails. Which I really appreciated. The cons of this place are the prices... I got a gel mani and regular pedi and paid $65. And to top it off, they only accept cash which seems a little weird... wasn't a bad experience but extremely overpriced. Don't think I'll be back again. read more

This place is a joke. As you sit and get your services done, you will have to listen to inappropriate, trashy conversations and foul language amongst the owner and her staff. One of the best parts about getting your services done here is you get to listen to the owner talk about other customers after they have left.....makes me wonder what it is she has to say about me after I leave. The final straw for me was observing how the owner speaks to her staff. While it is a busy day and the front desk girl was doing her best to keep up, when an employee asks a question and your response is "what does it look like I'm doing? Nothing" you shouldn't be a boss. I'll drive myself back up to Miami Beach every two weeks then waste my time at that joke of a nail salon. read more

They never ever have any walk-ins available. Most places will take walk ins, probably due to having walk in staff available. They always have long waits. No complimentary services. Nothing. Ill be looking for better service here in the keys. I had simple services that they couldn't accommodate. In the meantime they always waste so much time with their clients joking and playing around. Try Tania nails! Fabulous! Precise as well. read more

I don't remember the ladies name (alittle detail braces, short, brown hair) she was fantastic, she connected with me by where I work had a few little conversations but didn't force conversations.. I enjoy relaxing on my phone with a pedicure and not feel I have to talk the whole time to someone. she made my toes look fantastic with the different lengths all look uniformed. I'm a local and I come to his salon often and this time I was shocked at my visit! I made an appointment for September 19,2015 for 6:30pm (their hours say they close at 7:00pm) I showed up at 6:21pm to find their lights out, doors locked and not a manicurist in sight! This is probably the most rude act any business can do on a paying customer! I planned my afternoon just to accommodate my pedicure before they close and they shut the door and shut the lights on me? That's just bad business! Not coming here again. I will take my money elsewhere! Shame on you T & T nails!!! read more

Great choice for a no appt quality pedi for price. Vacationing from Chicago and found most of the girls that worked there were from Chicago too. Massage chairs. Please note they are ALL CASH ONLY, but were nice enough to let us leave after our service and return for payment. We LOVE our vacation toes!! read more

I have been coming to this nail salon for 5+ years on a bi weekly basis. I am Always welcomed within seconds of opening the door. Everyone is so friendly and professional. I have been to most ( if not all) of the nail techs and everyone does a great job. The girls and guys here keep their salon very clean anddddddd they just had a beautiful remodel! On top of the excellent customer service, pleasant staff and cleanliness this place offers more color choices than any other salon I've been too! My nail technician, Janet, always lets me know about new color choices that come in helping to recommend something I may like. Not to mention the new pedicure chairs are top of the line! If you are in search of a long lasting mani/pedi look no further, this is your spot. I also take advantage of the waxing service they offer and gift cards they sell! I've been coming here for the past 9 years and I don't think I can think of a single bad thing to say. I've always been treated respectfully and everyone has always been nice. The place is clean and the prices are fair. No matter how I want to do my nails (short,long, coffin, stiletto, rounded) whatever shape it may be they've always been perfect. I almost always go to Linda and she does AMAZING work. When I can't make it with her I go with Chay or Julie - and their work is equally as good. They always do their best to squeeze me in when I come in last minute. Any time I break a nail they are quick to fix them and never complain about doing it. I could go on forever about how great this place is. I'd recommend to anyone who needs a place to get their nails done. I couldn't be happier with their work!! read more

Best nail salon in the Florida Keys! Been coming here for 8 years now and get nothing but awesome service the ladies and gentlemen that work on a daily at the salon are very respectful individuals and are always welcoming guest with a smile on their faces. Since this salon is very popular I highly recommend appointments but if you don't have one they always find a way to fit you into their hectic schedule! i LOVE this place! i've been to every nail salon in the keys and this is hands down the best. my favorite nails techs are Linda and Janet. they are super efficient and you get a bang for your buck! my nails usually last between three weeks to a month before i have to go in to get a fill. i never have to doubt the quality of their services because it's always impeccable. i have received so many compliments on my nails over the years and i always recommend T&T, if you want amazing service and beautiful nails this is the place to go!!! read more

The quality, prices and lively atmosphere at T&T are tough to beat! I have been regularly seeing Linda now for over a year and a half and I have had nothing but a 5 star experience with her every time! Crystal in particular is who I go to she does THE BEST NAILS I have went other places and just been so disappointed because they're not her. The only place I will go in the Upper Keys for my nails! The staff is friendly and the shop was nicely renovated a year ago. Personally, I go to Crystal for my acrylic nails. She's hilarious and knows exactly how I like them. It's a family run business, which I love. If Crystal isn't available, I prefer that her sister Linda does my nails.
