So this is my second review, because my first review was apparently taken down. I am a nail tech from New Jersey and decided to treat myself to a manicure and pedicure. This place was recommended to me from a friend. You know salons that charge you, whatever they feel like it because they figure you're on vacation, and they're never going to see you again? Well, this is THAT place! Despite the price list saying an acrylic fill was $45/$50 and pedicure was $35... I walked out with a bill for $155! They cracked out a calculator and started adding up all these extra charges!! $15 for the chrome powder they rubbed on my manicure PLUS another $15 for the pedicure too! $5 To fix a cracked toenail. $15 for 3 nail repairs. They even charge you to remove the polish from your previous manicure!!!! Again, I am a nail technician from New Jersey. Been doing it for 50 years and NEVER in my life have I charged anyone to remove Polish, gel or otherwise. This is just a tactic to scam people for more money, and it's disgusting. You literally have to fill someone's nails and grind off the color as it is. There's no reason to charge $10 more, so they added another $20 to my bill to remove the polish from my toes AND from my hands!! Absolutely A disgusting greedy moneygrab. So that's an additional $50 between the nail polish removal and adding chrome powder. ANNND 1 week later the chrome is already wearing off...so my $155 (add $25 tip so $180 mani/pedi) isn't lasting more than a freaking week. My last chrome fills/mani I did myself lasted well over a month! Do better T&T. Find yourself a reputable salon that won't rip you off. And I find it funny every 5 star review is from a year ago.

Was recommended by a friend and honestly love the way my nails came out. I hadn't had acrylics for a while so it is so refreshing to look down at my hands and see my nail tech did EXACTLY what I asked for. Her name is Teresa and she is very friendly and professional. She also likes the same kind of nails I like so that made things convenient for me. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the receptionist is extremely ill mannered. Doesn't look at you at all when she speaks and if she does glance at you it's with the most offensive up and down look. Terrible attitude. But anyways, I will definitely be coming back for Teresa!! Don't mind my terrible cuticles in the photo which are solely my fault for the months of damage I've done to them.

I rarely do reviews, but I stopped in here with a friend while on vacation from California, and I have to say this may be the best manicure I've ever had. I can't remember the young man's name, but he was personable, professional, and very, very good at his art form. I did dips for the first time, and it's been almost three weeks and my nails are still perfect. People need to know that payment is cash only, which was a surprise. Thank you! read more

My grand daughter & I got mani-pedis recently @ T& T nails. I wish I'd known in advance they don't take credit cards, only cash. My tech didn't know how to buff my nails, but fortunately the tech next to us overhead my request & showed him what to do. My granddaughter's tech was very friendly but he forgot to paint one of her little toes! We didn't realize it until we got home. All in all, it was a just an ok experience. worst nail place to EVER go to. I'm actually in the salon as I write this review because the lady that is doing my toe nails has had to re do them 3 times now because she CAN NOT even do decent white tips. they look worse and worse every time I have to ask for her to re do them. I am paying $50 for a pedicure that looks like I did it at home with tape and white finger nail polish!!!!!!!!!! read more

I like to do my pedicures once in a while just to keep my feet nice and toenails short. I was very impressed at this salon. I opted for the deluxe pedicure and it came with a complimentary glass of champagne!! They had disposable liners for the tub(really clean). The staff was really cool and personable. I'm from Miami and I think I will come back once a month just for a pedicure from here. Good job T & T. read more

Great experience, Linda did my pedicure and fill and I am very HAPPY. She did they exactly what I asked, thin and nicely shaped. You can tell she enjoys what she does and views it as an art. I am very impressed and now I have my " to go" place when I am in the keys. It's a family business and been opened for the past 16 years. read more

I tried to walk in today to get a full set done before Christmas time. I was not even greeted by the rude receptionist. She right then asked if i had an appointment.. Ive gone before and i never needed an appointment so i didnt even bother to make one. She was like "well we dont have space" with an attitude. Linda and Julie are my favorite! Everyone in the establishment works as a team (a very talented team at that). If you're in the keys this is the ONLY place to go because they take so much pride in their work. Shout out to Chai he is awesome and does great designs. It is 40 minutes before closing. I went in for a polish change , with French tips...simple right? I forgot they didn't take debit cards. I only had 10 bucks cash. They refused to work with me and just remove my polish put a French tip on which is only $5. I didn't tell the guy I was going to give him the whole ten just to do that but, they refused...said they "can't do that" and I said "no you can, you just won't" and I left. Whatever happened to customer service?! read more

It is rare for me to post a negative post but this salon warrants it. I was there a week ago tomorrow and I'm still mad that I paid $18 plus tip to a manicurist whose only words to me were "hello, wash your hands and you're done". Really? I thought the "receptionist" was rude, and she was. Needs customer service training like another client said. Instead of texting, clean up the place, organize, do SOMETHING!!! My nail polish peeled and chipped off within 3 days and I was very gentle with my hands so that the polish would last. The manicurist did not let the coats of polish dry between applications, short strokes almost blotchy. My mistake was paying up front before my mani so as to not mess up my freshly painted nails and also had the tip out on the table ready to give it to the manicurist. I also did not wear my reading glasses so that I could see better. Anyway, so unprofessional and pricey. First and last time I'll be going there. read more

I was on vacation in the keys and kept hearing how great T and T nails was so I went and got a pedicure and full set of gel nails - they are amazing!! I was very happy with the way they turned out and even came back the next day to get my nails reshaped and was given the best customer service by Crystal! I will definitely be back the next time I am visiting - would recommend to anyone! read more

I was Very surprised when I went to pay that this Salon takes Cash Only! I would have thought there would have been a Very Big sign on the door stating this or they tell you before you sit down. I now realize this is why the lady in front of me left after sitting down for service. The staff was very nice but not the best pedicure ever. I was expecting it to be $35 and it was $45. read more

I set an appointment so I wouldn't have to wait and Julie (the owner) took me right away. I received an acrylic fill with gel polish plus a pedicure. Julie was great and I am very pleased with the services that I received. Price for mani-pedi was the same that I pay at home. read more

This place is over priced and dirty. The manicurists are young and they are professionals. I requested a gel fill on my finger nails and paid for one. I did not get it. I basically got a so called glorified nail polish removal, some filing, little gel and polishing. Polishing was done sloppily. The next day I returned to have it done right. Wrong. Manicurist was angry and hardly said a word. I showed her chip on nails and sides of nails were not polished. And gel well it was not done right. I will never return to such a place. Stay away. Expensive, unfriendly and dirty. read more

I just moved to the keys and was looking for a nail salon. T & T nails is close to me so I stopped in to get my eyebrows done and it took 20 min for any of the staff to acknowledge I was even there. Then they sit you in the middle of the salon and take about 2 minutes to do your eyebrows not to mention it is cash only so be ready to walk over to the ATM. I will never go there again!!! read more

I have been coming to this nail salon for 5+ years on a bi weekly basis. I am Always welcomed within seconds of opening the door. Everyone is so friendly and professional. I have been to most ( if not all) of the nail techs and everyone does a great job. The girls and guys here keep their salon very clean anddddddd they just had a beautiful remodel! On top of the excellent customer service, pleasant staff and cleanliness this place offers more color choices than any other salon I've been too! My nail technician, Janet, always lets me know about new color choices that come in helping to recommend something I may like. Not to mention the new pedicure chairs are top of the line! I've been coming here for the past 9 years and I don't think I can think of a single bad thing to say. I've always been treated respectfully and everyone has always been nice. The place is clean and the prices are fair. No matter how I want to do my nails (short,long, coffin, stiletto, rounded) whatever shape it may be they've always been perfect. I almost always go to Linda and she does AMAZING work. When I can't make it with her I go with Chay or Julie - and their work is equally as good. They always do their best to squeeze me in when I come in last minute. Any time I break a nail they are quick to fix them and never complain about doing it. I could go on forever about how great this place is. I'd recommend to anyone who needs a place to get their nails done. I couldn't be happier with their work!! read more

i LOVE this place! i've been to every nail salon in the keys and this is hands down the best. my favorite nails techs are Linda and Janet. they are super efficient and you get a bang for your buck! my nails usually last between three weeks to a month before i have to go in to get a fill. i never have to doubt the quality of their services because it's always impeccable. i have received so many compliments on my nails over the years and i always recommend T&T, if you want amazing service and beautiful nails this is the place to go!!! read more

The quality, prices and lively atmosphere at T&T are tough to beat! I have been regularly seeing Linda now for over a year and a half and I have had nothing but a 5 star experience with her every time! Linda is extremely professional, super sweet, easygoing, lots of fun and always helpful with suggesting new styles and colors! T&T as a whole is the best nail salon I have ever been to. The whole ambiance is amazing they treat you like family! Crystal in particular is who I go to she does THE BEST NAILS I have went other places and just been so disappointed because they're not her. I come to her with the most intricate/annoying designs and she always makes it work. It's always a therapy session as well which I really enjoy. The only place I will go in the Upper Keys for my nails! The staff is friendly and the shop was nicely renovated a year ago. Personally, I go to Crystal for my acrylic nails. She's hilarious and knows exactly how I like them. It's a family run business, which I love. If Crystal isn't available, I prefer that her sister Linda does my nails. As for pedis, I'm happy to have anyone....Long, Tony, Vilanie.. honestly everyone is sweet and does a great job! read more

I have been coming here for four years and Julie has always done my nails! She does an amazing job!!! If she is off on one of her adventures, her sister Linda, will take care of me. Best nail salon in the keys!! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The salon itself is extremely clean and sanitary. They have a large selection of colors to chose from and offer everything from pedicures to lash lifts. The manager is always willing to accommodate my requests and Kim does excellent pedicures! Happy feet again!!!!! The Deluxe pedicure by Jake are unbelievable here! Worth paying a little extra $ for the extra massage, lotion, and the pick of over 12 scents that do everything from relax you to relieve stress. The receptionist is very sweet and helpful - not too sure what anyone here is talking about. They're up to date on nail designs and always have the in-season colors. I have been going to T &T nails for a while now and never left disappointed! I normally go to Linda who is absolutely exceptional! But sometimes go to Eve who is also amazing! I am currently getting a gel mani and regular pedi by Vinny and it's been so nice. I'm here on a quick vacation and needed to get my nails done nearby and I'm so glad I came here!
