Found a piece of paper on their bread! I am a long time T&T Supermarket customer and very disappointed to find a piece of paper on their plain bread stuck in the middle of one of the slice. What is even more disappointing is that I sent a photo and explained the issue and request for at least return my money but very slow response and ask for many things and seems giving me tactics to tire me out and give up. Came here to shop for some Asian groceries. The Place is clean and well organized. Most of the workers here don't speak English. Mainly just Chinese mandarin. Finding help can be a bit difficult. This is considered a specialty store and therefore, prices tend to be on the higher end. There are plenty of free parking at this T&T since it is located in a mall. read more

Its very very busy most of the times . There are big line ups during this covid 19 times but i happen to be here before that many times. Just posting review late. This grocery store is huge with almost anything asian available especially from china , japan, korea . There is a flower n plant shop inside the store which has exquisite plant collection. All kinds of utensils, toiletries and grocery is available. I love all the bakery goods from T&T especially fruit cake but u must try all deserts available. I really like the cleaning and sanitization they use all year round. All of the staff is wearing hand gloves all the time but facemasks has been recent addition with all the staff. Cash counters are regularly cleaned and processed fast. Enough parking in the plaza allows good accomodation of handicap n otherwise. read more

Having been to the T & T in Richmond and Burnaby, I feel like this store is the best of the three. This store is bigger than the one in Richmond, offering more selection but not as crowded as the store in Burnaby. Therefore, there are plenty of parking spots available and the items are usually stocked well. I find the fruits and vegetables here to be very fresh. read more

T&T Supermarket - International Grocery Near Me - Surrey, British Columbia

Even though there are 2 T&Ts quite close to this area, it's obvious that Surrey is still quite underserved. The place was a complete war zone when I went. Parking is available in the nice large strip mall lot in front. The location is average sized, but what threw me off was the amount of shelves that were located physically outside the store. As a result, I couldn't find what I was looking for and had to be pointed outside. I guess they're not too worried about shoplifters. The place was just packed. I could feel my blood pressure rising as I cruised the aisles. I feel bad for those in Surrey who have to deal with this on a regular basis. read more

Tried the sushi place in their food area. It was very reasonable and very fresh. They usually have a daily special and my wife and I can share one and feel satisfied with our sushi fix. The supermarket itself is well stocked with various ethnic items. Some are pricier than big grocery stores but on some specialty items that are hard to find their prices are competitive. read more

Location and parking: Getting here has never been a problem for me as it's only a short walk from the Guilford mall. It also has a large parking lot and a bus stop right in front, so I never had to worry about carrying the groceries home. Products: They have an abundant supply of a wide variety of groceries from all over Asia, as well western options such as pastas and cheese. They also have a large live seafood section and a decent bakery. Most of the time I can complete all my weekly shopping here. Service: The staff are very helpful when you are looking for something. Most merchandise are labeled correctly in English, but they could be more descriptive in some cases. The cashiers are friendly but efficient, and they usually open a new lane if there starts to form a lineup. They also bags your groceries for you (I know this should be expected but clearly superstores don't do that). The thing to keep in mind is that they do charge you 10cents for a plastic bag, but even if you bring your own bag they will still happily bag the groceries for you free of charge. read more

Safety never takes a break lol I enjoy the great south east Asian foods isle and the ability to pick out my king crab from the tank and watch them chop it in half with a cleaver right in front of me. T&T is a great place to get any type of ingredients needed for Asian food. They have a wide variety of products your wouldn't typically find in regular supermarkets. They have the most exotic produce and seafood. The bakery also has a great selection of asian baked goods. If you're looking for a quick snack, go grab something from the bakery that's what I do. I love their egg and ham or egg and tuna sandwiches, surprisingly good! If you're looking for cakes of a party, they have a lot to choose from. This particular T&T is quite busy, they have a high traffic of customers coming in and out. The parking lot is big enough to handle this volume. The cleanliness in this particular one is satisfactory, considering how busy it is they do a decent job keeping it clean. The location is also perfect, right along a major road in Surrey. Racist staff at the deli / bubble tea counter visibly ignored me despite the fact that I had a cart with tnt items + a baby stroller and I was the only one at the counter. After 5 minutes of trying to get their attention finally a woman acknowledges me and then quickly brushes me off in the middle of my question. I left dumbfounded and my husband went in my place. Out of all the T&T stores, this is my favourite. Although in general, I love T&T, I prefer this store to the others because it is clean, well organized, and has good service. Be sure to check-out the seafood department; how can you not love lobster for 9.99 a lb?! Produce is fresh and varied, and you can find a great selection of meats too. The bakery isn't as large as some other T&Ts, but it includes all the essentials (and more). Finally, the accessibility of this store is why I give it such a high rating - you can easily pull in, pull out, and go. The parking is simple, and the location is right on my way home. read more

T&T is a supermarket with just about everything you could think of. Yes, they do cater to the Asian market with some interesting foods such as shark fin and more, but they have normal, everyday stuff too - at reasonable prices. They have a great cafeteria section where you can get just about anything that's ready to eat - form Chow Mein and Kung Pao to Chili Pork and Sushi. There's a lot to choose from here. I especially like their fruits and veggies section where sometimes you can find some really exotic fruits that perhaps the only other place to have that fruit would be in its native land. If you're into trying new and different tastes, T&T definitely won't disappoint. read more

I went to the Central Surrey location, and was extremely disappointed by their customer service. I had to ask 6 different employees to find a product, each one turned me down with an excuse, one even said she didnt speak English and I had to find out what the chinese word was for scallop was. In any case, there is a new chain of chinese grocery store called Sungivens which has a superior customer service, and the difference cannot be more obvious. read more

I was in to pick up a list of items for an elderly friend who is chinese. She can only write in chinese characters. So the list she gave, I could not obviously read as I can only read english and I am not of chinese descend. I was able to find a young lady who was busy stocking shelves, who was so kind and so sweet to help locate all the items on the list for me. I love this T&T! Cheaply priced vegetables, meats and seafood -- it's clean, the staff are always friendly -- I love to try the random foods I'd never get to try at other supermarkets. I have to admit, this is not my favorite T&T (like the Metrotown one a lot more). It is not very big, and the deli portion is pretty small. I would go eat in the food court next door instead. The bakery section is pretty big, however. Too bad I was heading home to the US today: live King Crab was $16 a pound on sale. read more

I am a caucasian girl who is an asian food fanatic, My boyfriend is Chinese/Indonesian and swears I am more asian than he is! When I walk through the doors of T&T Supermarket I am in absolute heaven. They carry everything from fresh lobster and crab to the biggest variety of asian sauces, seasonings and seaweeds. The bakery is to die for and the selections of fresh veggies is wonderful. Best of all the prices on most of these items just can't be beat. The only downfall is that the customer service is very poor. Be prepared to find items on your own as no one who works there seems to understand english. I also find that I am almost not welcome there because I am caucasian and so am treated very rudely by both staff and other asian customers. Perhaps it does look a little strange to see a little white lady stocking up her cart with asian goodies like there's no tomorrow! I make sure that when I visit, I am in and out as quickly as possible so as not to attract too much attention! lol!! But I don't care, the food is what its' all about and if you are an asian foodie like me I highly recommend buying all your groceries at T&T! read more

I bought instant noodles on sale and I didn't notice that they were 3 months past experation. I cooked the noodles and ate them, and after 30 min I felt as if I had food poisoning. I threw up and felt weak, and had to goto the bathroom. My brother in law noticed mold and the expiration date (3 months expired). Never again will I visit this location in Surrey (Guilford)! Don't ever buy anything on sale without checking the expiation date! They don't care as long as they make a sale! read more
