I just called the business to request a receipt for a charge in Willits CA for a flat tire change and the woman who answered said she didn't have a man named Keith working for her, she was very rude, and would not listen to what I had to say. After being stranded overnight due to a broken down vehicle and the unhelpful AAA roadside customer service folks, I tried again the next morning and was dispatched a truck from T and T Towing. I was contacted by their dispatcher and was told the owner would be picking me up. Approximately ten minutes later, in pulled Wayne, owner of T and T Towing. The prior day was full of obstacles when it came to getting my vehicle back to Sacramento. Wayne rolled in like the cavalry and towed me home with no issues. I'm not one to chat up strangers ordinarily, but Wayne and I had some great chats on our three hour ride back home. I was traveling alone and am generally hesitant of most men, but never once felt unsafe or uncomfortable at any time during my travels with Wayne. Thank you again Wayne and crew at T and T for helping me get home and for treating me with such kindness! Mixed reviews because the TnT man who towed my car after 12 hours at the side of the road waiting for Cloverdale Tow was awesome! and the TnT woman who towed my car to TnT Repair shop a few days later was awesome! Note: Each town along 101 'claims' their tow service location and lock themselves in to a request, but don't respond sometimes for hours. They tell you an arrival time and fail repeatedly. They tell you to just leave your car at the side of the road and they'll get to it... further problem is if you are NOT a AAA member and a AAA call comes in, they get tow priority! Also, they told me after they have worked their 8 hours in a 12 hour shift, the service just waits. My main concern with wildly fluctuating cost in a 12 hr period. Also, TnT's front office and answering service protocol is not responsible or transparent. To date, office staff have promised receipts with no follow through - even after 4 reminders read more

My car broke down on the side of the highway between Willits & Ukiah in June. I got picked up by a driver who claimed his step dad owned the yard and towing company. I needed to get up to Fortuna. The driver who picked me up was called to switch with another guy I believe named Jimmy. He was upset about it, unprofessional and cursing. We waiting in willits at the gas station for at least an hour waiting for him to call AAA and his secretary at the call center trying to convince them for him to take the tow. It was there that he became aggressively creepy asking if I wanted a "foot massage" and making up stories about how he took massage school classes. I said no. Then We then drove to the yard where we were going to switch tow trucks and drivers (thankfully) to bigger guy Jimmy. It was while we were waiting for Jimmy, that the driver that had originally loaded my car proceeded to ask me out, ask me personal questions about what I was doing during the summer, and asked for my number. Again I said no but thank you for the tow. Jimmy pulled up and I went to get into the other truck while the guys were loading my car. Jimmy drove me the longer distance up to Fortuna and thankfully was normal. The only time he spoke to me was when he asked if I needed to stop for the restroom. T and T towing are the worst!!! Will NEVER USE THEM! Spent 7 hours trying to get a car towed thru them per AAA. Finally called Willits Tire Augie was there in 15 minutes and we were on our way. Thank you Augie your the best!! And Willits Tire will be requested by us EVERY time!!! We were in a sad situation and trying to take care of business but Marcie the dispatcher at T and T was a bitch, no compassion or interest in helping us at all. Imagine a situation - your car breaks down on the road. You have an AAA card in your pocket and you naively call right there. Yes, they answer, the tow truck will arrive, but it depends on the tow truck driver to take you on board or not, and so- here we go, long-awaited, welcome, came and hitched your broken bucket, but I don't take passengers, the tow truck driver categorically declares. Get to your home or to the nearest safe place yourself, however you want. And the driver does not care that pedestrians on the freeway are prohibited and the first police officer will issue you a fine, and walking on the freeway is generally very dangerous. None of this worries either the tow truck driver , or the tow company, or your insurance company. Yesterday we were thrown by the driver of the T and T towing company, a tow truck right in the middle of nothing, said -good luck, and left. And he didn't care that the driver was an elderly disabled person and a veteran. The main thing for him was to earn his big bucks, and the disabled veteran would somehow get there on his own, or he won't get there. read more

I called AAA last night to see if they can pull me out of the mud. Thankfully John Parker showed up. He informed me that I was too far off the road and he can't drive into the mud lest he gets stuck just like I did. So he said he will go back down to ukiah to get more chains and cables to see if I can be helped. At this point I knew I will be in the mud until summer. But he did call back and he did return. He used shovels, winches, cables to pull me out. It was super difficult endeavor and I gave up hope several times. But John never gave up and did pull the Range Rover out of the mud. I called AAA to get a tire change on my vehicle parked in my driveway. What a nightmare! This garage arrived in a huge flatbed. To drive up our driveway a vehicle must be 15 feet max. They did a u turn and left. I called again and this same garage was called. This time a woman from the garage called me and said I needed to "roll my CRV down the driveway" for them to change the tire!! She said that they only have that huge flat bed vehicle. If I didn't agree to do that she would inform AAA that I had an inaccessible location and don't qualify for AAA service! It took a long time on the phone with AAA explaining before the same garage was called again ( Even though I repeatedly requested that a different service station be called). I was told the garage wanted me to sign a waiver in case they cause damage to my driveway getting their vehicle up my driveway. I said no. They showed up again and the guy barely acknowledged my presence and walked up the drive with a jack to my car and changed the tire. He wanted me to remove and replace the zipper cover to the spare ( due to liability issue ) and had no air to check the tire air and fill the tire if needed. Really??? AAA informed me that they are the ONLY tow garage they have in Willits and Ukiah. read more

The guy that picked me up was rude and had no customer service skills whatsoever.. not like I expected any from a tow truck driver anyways.... I guess that's the service you provide when your the bosses son (eye roll) however, they are the only triple a certified tow in the area so apparently they were my only option. I'm a younger girl in the area for work (construction) and I was 163 miles from home. Luckily my alternator decided to go out right outside of Ukiah so he was quick arriving but then complained about how would love to drive me all the way home if I had the membership card holder here with me (I get it, laws and what not) but he woke up at 3 in the morning to "only get about 15 dollars for this call" okay... sorrry my car decided to die in the middle of the road, I didn't plan on it either. He then dropped me off in front of the mechanics shop knowing I didn't have the money to get it fixed or towed anywhere without my dads membership. (I used mine to get it there) and told me they've "broken the law too many times doing that and just got in trouble last week for it" likely story but when the very first thing out of his mouth is "it's not that I don't want to drive you there, BUT" and then continually keeps bringing it up my only option is to believe you really just didn't want to do your job, even when I said I could have my dad pay for it. So instead without any hesitation decided and knowingly dropped a young girl off alone at this mechanics shop in the middle of the night with no place to stay and no money to fix it and was on his merry way back home to rest peacefully. I was in an accident involving the front end of my car. It was towed from Main St Willits to T and T Storage. The tow truck driver and tow the night of the accident that happened at 8:30 was great. The next day I went to their storage yard and first of all the driver had not left my paperwork there with my car so I had to wait until that was done although I had my I.d. in hand. Second of all after waiting for paperwork to be finished I'm then told the driver also still had my keys and was out Sherwood Rd on a call so then I had to wait for my keys. I finally get paperwork and keys then get out to my car which has front end damage only and see claw marks from their guard dogs down my passenger door in several places. If my car is considered totalled the claw marks won't matter but if not my car that I bought brand new in 2007 has never had brushes on the paint. Only handwashed or laser wash. read more
