If your website and also the sign on your door says OPEN... I think you should be open. Also... they claimed not to take DoorDash orders anymore.. well it still gives you the option of ordering through DoorDash so maybe you should change that. Aside the long wait, the food was amazing. The asada was super good. The texture and flavor both were great. The carnitas was unique but super amazing as well. The tortilla was soft and very good as well. The sauce was okay but it went good with the tacos. This place has quality meat and the tortilla is cooked good too. Only reason it's 4/5 is because there isn't that extra kick that blew me away. I'd come back for sure though. read more

This place is hard to miss since it is not on the main street and it is on the side street right behind Mariachi Locos. It is definitely a hole-in-the-wall place ran by a mom and son. The service was superb and the prices were even better. Tacos were about $2.50, burritos were $8 (small) and $10 (large), and most platters/specialty dishes were $12-$15. My platter was $12, and HUMONGOUS was an understatement. Also, they have fresh juices that they make daily. The food and drinks were flavorful. I arrived around 2pm on a Sunday, and most of the tables were filled with locals. The service is as quick as it can be with two people. Larger and more complex platters take longer than burritos or tacos. My new favorite mexican place in Hammonton! I would recommend it to anyone. Tdlr; food was very affordable, delicious, and in huge proportions. Service was above and beyond, and give the food time to cook especially with larget and more complex dishes. read more

This place is small family run operation. We were all very skeptical, but Las Lomas was closed and we don't like El Mariachi or Fiesta Mexicana which are just slightly better than Chi Chi's. Glad we hung in there because we were rewarded with an awesome meal. The server was the chefs daughter and she was a pleasant young girl who was helpful making selections. Not everything on the menu was available, it depends day to day. We started with guacamole with chips. Took a while because they fried the chips and made the guacamole to order. Huge portion of guacamole that was the best I ever ate. I had the Huarache which our server recommended. It was pork on a thick homemade tortilla with onion, fresh cilantro, avocado and fresh oaxaca cheese. It was a huge portion and awesome! My son Ben had the same and loved it!! My wife had spicy shrimp with rice. It was very spicy and flavorful with like a pound of nice shrimp for like $10. It was also delicious. One son huge steak burrito that he loved. My other had 4 pork tacos which he loved. He was the only person who managed to finish his meal. With drinks, this epic Mexican feast for 5 was $72 including tax! I was so happy with everything I have gave the young lady a $100 and told her to keep the change. Can't wait for another visit!! Go, but understand, this place is not fancy, your plates won't match, her kids may be watching tv from the next table and you'll drink your byob wine out of coffee cups. Looks like a small corner bodega you would see in the city But, man will i dream about those tacos daily now that i had them. Im very particular about my tacos and these puppies met every bit of criteria. Meat was well seasoned, lots of juices coming from it, and the salsa verde they gave with it was also amazing all homemade from scratch! The owner was a Mother who was cooking and the family helping out around the store. It truly felt like we were a guest at a hispanic household. it just had that type cozy feel to it. Another thing i should add is the value is amazing. I think i was $3 per taco but each one had about 10oz of meat on them you could barely fold it! Definitely worth the money. We stopped at Fruta Mex a place that does mexican desserts and drinks right across the street i got pina colada and my brother got aqua fresca both were really good. we also got some street corn there which was a pleasant find. read more
