The food is so good. Service is excellent. We've eaten before but this was the first time we stopped for breakfast. We split an order of pancakes- delightful! I had 2 baleadas with avocado- I should have added the egg, but oh so good. Everything is homemade down to the fresh-squeezed orange juice.

Came here for breakfast, food and service was great! Menu was somewhat limited, but we will come back again for dinner.

My dad didn't feel like Mexican so when we got home, I mentioned it to my husband and he wanted to try it out. When we got there, there were a couple of tables taken, and they were all speaking Spanish. Good sign #1. The place was clean, bright, and cheerful. Good sign #2. The server (? He seemed to be doing every job there) greeted us and told us to sit wherever we wanted and then asked us what we wanted to drink. I got water and my husband ordered horchata. It was really good and not too sweet like it can be. I ordered a huarache with carnitas and my husband ordered chilaquiles with red and green sauce. The chilaquiles were so good he had them gone in a couple of minutes. I didn't have a high expectation of my lunch because it was not on a masa base, it was a tortilla. I still ordered it because I figured the tortilla would be a lighter meal for lunch and I wouldn't feel as drained as if it was masa. My huarache had a base of some of the best refried beans I've had in a long time and let me tell you about the carnitas! In the area we used to live in, carnitas was generally served as shredded pork. Here, it was chunks of meat and I was a little anxious that they would be tough. But oh, the meat was so tender! I barely touched it with my fork and it fell apart! I barely had to chew it. I was really only chewing the tortilla. It was flavorful without being too spicy, so the taste of the carnitas could shine through. Honestly, this place is a little unassuming hole in the wall type of place in a weird strip mall that also has a surgery center and a gym in it. But you know, that's the kind of place that outshines any big places.

We were seated in the lovely outdoor area, which had such a great atmosphere with Mexican music playing in the background. We started with the empanadas, and they were absolutely delicious. For our main dishes, we had the shrimp fajitas and steak tacos--both were flavorful, perfectly cooked, and truly hit the spot. The service was just as impressive as the food. Our server, Joely, was awesome--friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcomed, especially on such a busy holiday. Great food, great service, and a beautiful setting. We'll definitely be back!

The night we dined the restaurant was pretty busy, but there were no servers or hosts in sight. After a very brief wait, a server and host/server came out of the kitchen and sat us immediately. We started with horchata to drink, which arrived in mason jars with a dusting of cinnamon. The menu is very seafood heavy, so if you're not into fish or seafood, your options are limited. With that being said, the menu leans authentic Mexican. Every table receives fresh homemade nachos with a black bean topping and two salsas- one mild and one spicy. We decided to do the appetizer sampler so we could try a little of a variety of things. It came with an empanada, elote, nachos, guacamole, and queso fundido. The presentation was awesome, as it arrived on a wooden board. The empanada was cut into 4 pieces and was filled with chicken tinga and cheese. I absolutely loved it, while my friend hated it, which was crazy to me. It was so flavorful and had almost a carnitas flavor to it. The guac was fresh, the nachos were crispy and packed with toppings, elote was flavorful and fresh, and queso fundido was super filling. We almost filled up on the apps, but our birria tacos came out and they were fantastic. Our server poured the hot consommé over onions in a little bowl and the flavor was rich and paired with the birria so well. The corn tortillas were crispy and even though we could only eat one of the three, we took the rest home. We also split a side of Mexican rice and beans, which were average and pretty much what you'd expect. We aren't sure if there is dessert, as there was none on the menu, but we were too full even if we were offered options. Our server was attentive even though it was very busy. All in all, I would give it a 4 and my dining companion would give it a 3 so 3.5 would be perfect. However I went up to a 4 because I enjoyed what I ordered and think it deserves that half of a star.

We love locally-owned places! We saw this place open up about a year ago and knew we had to try it!…read moreWe tried ordering from here a few times. Closed Mondays, don't take orders after 730..etc. finally got it and regretted it! Do not eat here. Im surprised they have so many good reviews here and on other sites, but the food was terrible! If you look at my other reviews, I very very very rarely complain about the food! So you know it's bad... We got the Mi Casa Su Casa App Combo with 2 tamales, 2 quesadillas, and 2 empanadas. Wow. Tamales were dry, quesadillas were solid, and the empanadas were terrible! I still do not know what was in them. Fajita combo was meh... nothing special, very overcooked even for pickup! Guacamole was spicy!!! Like mouth on fire! Mexican sweet bread was moldy, im pretty sure it's supposed to be white on top without the green things growing out of it... ill try and add the pictures. Wife and FiL got chicken fajitas, both said meh. Semi spicy too.. Omg the shrimp tacos. I brought it into the house and the first thing she said from the other room within 3 seconds what's that smell! Apparently the shrimp was rotten and she said they smelled bad! Had to toss it instantly. I do not have a sense of smell lol! Kids got tiny quesadillas that they charge $14 for! Like the small 5inch ones! Ridiculous. Tasted good. So did the chicken ones. All in all I would avoid like the plague. I pass by multiple times a day and wonder how they are on business when no one is ever inside... If you value your health don't come here.
