It was my first visit to this restaurant. My first impression. Dark, dreary, dungeon like. I believe lighting, vibe, decor, and music to be just as important as the food. I look for a certain charm of the place for it to be a memorable experience. There was no music. Staff play another important part. I found them to be not friendly. All walked around like they were there because they needed a job. The lady that took our order was very rude. My daughter, whom is a special needs child, asked me about a certain item on the menu. I asked the lady who was serving us to explain to my daughter what the item on the menu was. She did a quick hand gesture towards me, vaguely describing what it was and then walked away from our table. She did not acknowledge my daughter's question. This kind of angered me because I could not answer her question. My daughter decided to order something else. The food was ok. Nothing special about it. My wife did not like it. My family has experienced excellent Mexican restaurants, so it is easy for us to compare and give an honest review. The staffs behavior really stuck with me. No smiles, no checking up on our table to see if all was ok or if we needed anything. I asked for water and I was given a small cup with water no ice. Cup was dirty on the outside. Water seemed like it came straight from the faucet. It was warm. Would I recommend this place, absolutely not! Unless what I described does not bother you, then go ahead, enjoy. read more

After many times dining here and having mediocre experiences, tonight was the final straw and sadly we will not be back. Typically the food is good but the service is not, it is blatantly obvious that none of the servers have had any proper training. Tonight we tried again. Our nachos were very good and so was my food. My husband's food however left a lot to be desired. He ordered 2 enchiladas and two burritos as a combo meal with ranchero sauce on all. When it came out there was almost no sauce on it but, no big deal he filled up on apps. When the waitress noticed his full meal there she asked if he needed a box (didn't ask if there was a problem), he respond that he did but he would also need ranchero sauce on the side because it was so dry he wouldn't be able to eat it without the sauce. Once she figured out how much sauce he needed, she brought out 2- 4 or 5oz soufflé cups along with the bill. Upon checking the bill, we saw that each little container was $2.00. The amount of sauce in the cups should have been on the entree to begin with and when questioned about the price, her answer was "yes, that's right". With that my husband told them they could keep the garbage food, and the overpriced ranchero sauce. He paid the full bill, plus a tip (more than she was worth) and told her he would never be back to which she responded "ok". $90 for two people to leave frustrated is just not worth it. read more

We have been there a few times and usually we like it. But me and the family went there the other day the food was Good but some of the prices were outrageous we used to get a large guacamole and the whole family could eat from it I think it was about $12 now I got the guacamole they only have one size and it was only about the size of 3/4 to a cup worth of guacamole and they charged over $12. I also got a side of sour cream that was only about the third of a cup and they charged me three dollars. They also added 18% gratuity for only for people. So disgusted..... after preparing my husbands plate from a 65$ delivery order A couple of weeks ago, I was delayed in eating my own food for about 20 minutes . Just as my husband finished his food I began to remove my food containers from the bag when a roach ran out of the bag.....I never called or returned the food due to not wanting to upset my husband since he had eaten all of his. Needless to say I threw everything else away including my meal and my daughters All I know is that for there to be a roach in a delivery bag there must be an awful lot in the store that it came from. I went here in January. A bit pricey for mediocre food. I've been to many Mexican restaurants, but this one was very disappointing. The food is very bland and not at all flavorful. We ordered sopa Azteca and the base tasted like Campbell's tomato soup with tortillas and avocado. There was no salt, pepper, or any seasoning whatsoever. Very unappetizing and it cost $9. The waitress told the cook who didn't have the decency to apologize or even speak to us. We ordered chicken quesadillas. The rice also had no flavor and I could've made better food myself. I had the burrito loco with the ranchers sauce for lunch. Very tasty and packed with Mexican meats. The melted cheese on top really set it off. I could barely finish the thing! Worst mother day ever. After having to deal with an angry grub hub driver for waiting so long ..and then he cancelled my order. Then I called the restaurant...which I should have just let it go at that point. Everything was wrong. My husband went and picked it up and it was awful. Ground beef instead of steak...none of my requests were made. We didn't get any salsa. There were chicken tenders instead of nuggets. There was no cilantro or onions on the tacos. Plus no onion bulbs or grilled jalapeno like usual. Just a box of 20 tacos for $45 with nada on them. I called and spoke to a very nice girl to complain and she was helpful. However after she talked to the owners they literally said to bring all the food back on and they would refund me. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Now the picked over food my my husband and my kids you want me to return? So you can throw it away and take even more time away from my family on mother's day? $175 my order was. I didn't expect a full refund. Maybe an apology and a free guac for my next order. Instead I told them to kiss my a** and I am never going there again. Had high hopes for this restaurant but sadly it fell short. Severely lacking in the flavor department and mediocre customer service. Ordered delivery and when I realized they had forgotten my side of queso I called and they would not make a separate trip to bring it back even though it was paid for (they asked if I could come and pick it up but hence the delivery, I was stuck at work and couldn't leave) Sides and sauces could definitely be larger for the amount of food that you get (my toppings had the smallest teaspoon of sour cream and guacamole for my quesadillas) Hope this place can turn it around or they will not make it much longer. My family is new to the area, and decided to come to this little place for my sister's birthday. My mother had recently had surgery, and wasn't allowed to eat solid food.
