I hate giving bad reviews and have really debating leaving this, but this is the 3rd time I've left feeling really unhappy:( I want to preface that I used to love TD and have been going their for about a year now. When I started going, everyone there did an excellent job, it was affordable, and gel lasted 3-4 weeks. About 3 months ago, I got my gel changed by the owner and she cut so much of my nails off when I asked not to, rushed through my nails because she had a line, and the gel came off within a week. I decided to give them another chance after that because I thought they were just busy. The next time, I had a different women do my gel (French manicure) and it was honestly a mess. She was basically out of the pink base color so she only did a super thin coat and then struggled through the tips redoing them so many times. In the end they were super uneven and my gel started peeling 3 days later! I also started to notice that every time I would come they would charge me a different price for the same thing (gel French manicure). They only let you pay cash or Venmo so this felt weird to me. After this, I soaked my gel off and had been doing my own nails at home. Now we're at today & I had something come up and needed to get my nails done fast. I went to TD because they're close and I wanted to give them another chance. The older guy (I think the owner too) did my gel. This time I just got basic pink to be easy and they are a mess. He cut my cuticle, the nails are all uneven and bumpy and the gel is already peeling up in one corner. The pictures don't even do them justice but still wanted to include. *If you do end up going here, ask for the younger guy. I have had only good experiences with him:) read more

This place is absolutely amazing! Walked in for a fill. Great prices, especially for this area. I showed Linda a picture of what I wanted and she immediately picked out colors perfect for the look! She shaped my nails thinner and much better than my previous place, they look and feel natural. She always checks to make sure everything looks to your liking and has such taste!! "Perfect for us" - I have been on the hunt for a good nail salon since I moved here. My sister came into town and broke one of her nails. I found this hidden gem by way of ratings, pictures, and raves of "Linda". (We went on the Tuesday evening that Elsa was due to hit Florida!) When entering the salon we were immediately greeted and asked which services we would like today. We were then directed to our seats. My service was a Gel Pedicure, my daughter wanted acrylic nails and my sister had acrylic nails w/dip powder and a broke nail. (Too embarrassed to post the before pictures) While our nails were being attended to, the spa attributes were offered. Drinks, massages, and zen music. There was no rushing, no pauses during service, and no nips/cuts. The energy in the salon was great! Especially when it was time for my foot scrub, I am very ticklish! I try to hold in my laughter and body jolts because I don't want the nail technician to skip that much needed scrub down! She worked a great job on the scrubbing and we laughed together! read more

I've been here twice and truly was hoping this place would stick since I have been looking for a nail salon I could be a regular at. I came here because of the reviews, the first time I went was decent, Linda was knowledgeable and nice. The second time I went I made sure to book an appointment since she was super busy last time. I booked it for 12 PM so I could go on my lunch break from work. I got there at 11:55 and she was working on someone else so I waited about 20 minutes which normally wouldn't bother me but my lunch is only an hour. She started working on my nails when another woman came in for an eyelash fill and two others were waiting for their eyebrows. She left me and her husband stepped in so she could do their brows. I thought it would be quick and she'd come back to me but she took the eyelash fill right after them. I made the appointment with her for a reason and she didn't even do 25% of it. I am never one to complain so I dealt with it because I was already late for work. I ended up being there 2 hours and didn't even get the design I wanted because I didn't have time. I also didn't mention my unhappiness with the shape because once again I didn't have time. I hate to write this because they were nice people and her husband did give me a discount because of the wait but I left completely upset over the whole situation. To top if off the new set and shape point up which I've never had happen before, they just don't look good. I've been in the salon/spa industry for years and I get that an eyelash fill would bring in more money but I had an appointment and it's not acceptable to deny someone a good service because of that. I'm still a paying customer and had I had a good experience I would have come back every couple of weeks for not only my fill in's but my pedicures as well. read more

Hidden gem. Open on Sunday and walk ins are accommodated. Pedicure for 2 and dip manicure did not break the bank! Linda cared for my husband. He has ingrown nails on both great toes and Linda was able to fix the problem without causing pain and bleeding. The other two gentlemen who took care of us were amazing as well and my nails are perfect. The shoulder massage is not something you usually get anymore and it was greatly appreciated. This was the first nail salon that I've been to since moving here that is reasonably priced and provides a detailed manicure and pedicure. The staff is beyond friendly and they have a large selection of colors. I gave a 4/5 stars because they do have the plexiglass for the nail tech and customer for Covid but they still sat someone right next to me. It just didn't settle with me because there are 3 rows for manicures and the other 2 were empty. Also when I was getting my nails done a bug or shall I say a small roach crawled across the UV light and almost on to me. The lady said they have someone who comes in and spray repellant, but it was a very uncomfortable situation. This is my new favorite nail salon. They do the best dip nails! I came here because I had a gift card someone had given me. First time I came to TD they talked me into dip instead of gel and I loved it. I normally get gel and a week in it starts to lift and I pick at it until they look bad. I ended up going somewhere else the next time and getting dip and it was just not the same. It chipped off they didn't do the same process. The end of the other place's process they still put the gel on and had to put it in the light. TD Nails does not do that. They do it the way they are supposed to. It's last forever! So now I only come here. They are also so nice and care about their customers. I always feel so welcomed here. They always give me a hug and show their appreciate for coming it. It's great! And when you get a manicure while you wait for your nails to set they give you a neck rub. It's the best. We all know the massage is the best part! read more

I struggled to find a good nail salon anywhere in Tampa and this place is AMAZING! I came in on a Sunday afternoon and they helped me immediately, offering something to drink. They just opened about 5 months ago and really pay so much attention to detail. Andy did my gel pedicure and gave me a really long leg/foot massage, and Linda, who did my acrylic gel manicure, gave me both a hand massage and even a neck massage. My wife and I stopped for pedicures a couple of weeks ago when we were in town on holiday. It was a weekday and they were able to take us right away. I had a young lady do mine, and wife had a gentleman. It was simply a great experience. We each had the basic pedicure, but still they spend a lot time clipping and scrubbing and massaging and polishing and just overall pampering. The pedis were all that and more than what we were expecting. We could not have been more pleased. There's one problem, though. As stated, it was a couple of weeks ago, and for the life of me I can't remember their names. If only I'd written this review right away, I would have remembered. But they were in their 20s, I'd say. If you want to be talked down to and ridiculed, then this is the salon for you. The guy that owns it decided to be rude and start with me for absolutely no reason. I called and made an appointment and said 3 or 4 but prefer 4 so he said ok and I thought that was my time. So I get there at 4 and I get told they thought my appointment was 5 so I was like oh i thought it was 4 no big deal at all. Not pissed off in the slightest I just sat there waiting. The guy who I don't even know his name decides to come up to me and tell me "I repeated it to you twice 5pm" and I said no I said 4. And he's like you said 5 and I repeated it twice and I was like no I didn't I said 4. First of all why am I even in this conversation and second of all why are you purposely trying to argue with a customer, a GOOD paying customer too and I have been going there for months now. So as he walks off he says it again and I say are you really being rude to me? And he continues to tell me he repeated it twice as if I'm some kind of idiot. First of all, I do not like being disrespected and I certainly don't like being treated that way for absolutely no reason. I could understand if I was pissed off or making a scene or something but no, I was sitting there quietly keeping to myself because clearly it was just a miscommunication with language barriers.
