First of all, the owner is a rude man! I wanted to take my dip off my nails...they charge $12 just to take the polish off. Then they soak your nails, I mean your entire hands in acetone for 10 plus minutes. This is not good for your Health and he told me I can go somewhere else this is how everybody does it. I told him no I've been to many nail salons and this is not how it's done. And the place looks like it's from the 80s. VINCE did a TERRIBLE JOB on my full set acrylic nails. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! This was my first and will be my last time at this location. I give a ONE-STAR RATING only because there is no ZERO RATING available! I've had my nails done many, many times over the years, So I recognize a TERRIBLE nail tech such as Vince when I see one!! VINCE is NOT SKILLED as a nail tech. I had to remind Vince to do several things that most nail techs do automatically. Whenever I pointed these out and requested he do them or re-do them correctly, Vince debated with me and insisted on doing things his way. I had to insist he do several things correctly such as checking to make sure all my nails were even in length on both hands. He did not do this so I noticed one hand's nails were longer length than the other hand. When I asked Vince to fix it, he said I wouldn't be able to tell the nails were uneven with the polish on. I felt like he was insulting my intelligence with that response and he was too lazy to want to go back and fix them. I had to insist that he correct the nails to make sure they were even on both hands. This is just one of many examples of my dissatisfaction with VINCE!! Also the PRICING IS TOO HIGH for the LOW QUALITY service I was given overall, including a mediocre job on the spa pedicure I also received with a different tech that same day. Called around 12pm today and was able to get in for an appointment at 1pm. I got a full set with an oval shape and design for $45. A man named Vincent started them and they were finished by another woman. Both of them paid extreme attention and didn't rush at all. The lady wasn't satisfied with one of the designs and she went out of her way to do it multiple times til she got it right. I felt I needed to write my experience because of all the poor reviews. I would like to say that the staff was attentive and they were not talking on their phones. I am on vacation from The Windy City and had no appointment for my nails today, out of all days NYE. I walked in this morning and was taken care of on the spot. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was assigned to Nail Tech Angie who took her time and was very nice. I'm happy with my mani and pedicure. The reason why they did not get 5 stars was due to sanitation reasons. The equipment they used to perform my manicure and pedicure was kept in a plastic box and not in newly sealed bags for the tools they use on our nails. When I noticed that I didn't allow them to cut any of my cuticles on my hands or feet. Price was only $25 for both my mani and pedi. read more

If you're there to just get away from everything they won't bother you with small talk. I've been coming here for almost three years and they are always fair on the price and always in a good mood. I have been going to this nail shop for years.The shop is very clean, and they use liners for pedicures. I started taking my mom there for pedicures and she is very pleased. Jennifer, Mary, and Mai (i think it's spelled this way). They are all nice, and listen to you and do a very good job! I recommend this shop. Even during Covid-19 where people are afraid, I did not feel that way. Staff wears gloves and masks and have partitions for manicures. read more

I got greeted when I walked in & I just wanted a polish change on my nails & toes, which she quoted me a FAIR price! I'm pretty darn low key about pedicures, but I'm making a point to come back and write this review. Place was clean enough, and liners were being used- but I certainly second guessed if the tools were clean as they were all in a box instead of a individual kit like I've seen most places. The bigger issue was the pedi just stunk- no options or add ons, no massage or anything except a towel rinsed in hot water at the sink then laid on your leg til cold. My toe polish was "touched up" 4 times because it was uneven, a bubble and then spots- even got polish on my flip flop I had to scrub off after. The price was cheaper than most places at $25, but I didn't know that because there wasn't a price sheet or selection list beforehand. A day later, my big toe still hurts from all the attempts made to file and such. Wasn't just me- took my husband for a Father's Day treat and his was the same way (except for no polish). Wasn't the relaxing pedi I had envisioned us having, and won't be going back. read more

This is the first salon I've tried since moving to Tampa, and it's certainly not going to be my go-to place. We'll start with the positives. They have a good polish selection, strong massage chairs, and four days after my mani/pedi, the job only shows minimal wear. The service, however, was awful! My tech was chatting on her phone the entire time she did my feet - I literally yelped in pain twice because she dug her metal tool so deeply under my toenail that I thought it was going to bleed. The pumice she used on me was already very heavily used by other patrons, and I was pretty grossed out. Moving on to do my nails, for every minute she spent actually working on them, she spent three minutes watching TV and two minutes yelling at me about Obama's politics. Not even kidding. This place ripped off my daughter just in time for her 15th birthday. The $35 gel over acrylics sucked. Her nails were the same length as they were when she walked in and we're left uneven and unacceptable. We went back 24 hours later and I went in in an effort I have them redone. They would not hear of it. They argued, were confrontational and could not care less that they had an unsatisfied customer. It meant nothing to them. They became argumentative and didn't care. Who goes in for acrylics on short nails to come out with them being the same length unless you want them that way? Never again will I step foot in there. Money is their focus. on any and all vehicles possible I will spread the word about these crappy business people. Let's not let people like this take advantage of our kids. read more

I was impressed with the friendliness of the tech's and the pricing was good. It was one of the only nail salons that the tech's interacted with the clients. I brought my daughter with me for some pampering, unfortunately 24 hours later and both of us still have burning fingers! The tech's that we had, both of them, snipped our skin during the manicure and my daughter's tech was on the phone the entire time and didn't pay any attention to what she was doing. The polish on her nails is shoddy at best. Where my tech was a little better with the polish, several of my fingers are still very sore and tender.
