My first contact with T.J. Huggard was a few months ago when our water heater broke. I sent him a video of the leak and he advised it needed to be fixed asap. He wasn't able to come that day so he recommended another company. I was impressed when he said "It's not about the job we can get. It's about you. And making sure the property is safe." I knew then that I would 100% call him with whatever plumbing help we'd need in the future. Four months later our second water heater broke and I knew to call T.J. Again, I sent a video and this time he said he would be able to move some things around and came out the same afternoon. He was professional and courteous, worked so quickly and efficiently, replaced the tank, and put straps on it *and* on the other tank that the other company replaced. T.J. took time to show and explain his work to me when the job was finished. Very kind and I appreciate the integrity of his company and philosophy of just making sure the customer & their property is safe. Had a sewer line issue and had someone else do an inspection on the line. The guy said I needed a new sewer line/ needed to have it lined and referred me to Troy. I called Troy up and he worked me into his schedule to check out what was going on. It was supposed to be a quick check but he ended up staying 4 hours to resolve the problem. I worked alongside him the entire time so I know he wasn't padding the bill.... it was a very complicated issue/ required some creative approaches and even though it meant he was late for his next job, he stayed until my job was finished. Troy could have easily sold me a $10-12k solution/ new sewer line -especially since the other contractor said I needed one- but instead he WORKED TO SAVE ME MONEY and it cost me less than a thousand bucks in the end. It's easy to find contractors. What's difficult is finding HONEST and hard working contractors who will work to SAVE YOU MONEY. I cannot say enough great things about Troy. I had another company trying to rip me off and telling me my whole system was illegal and I knew that wasn't correct. I did a quick google search and came across TJ Huggard Plumbing and their reviews were amazing, and for good reason, so I took a chance and couldn't be happier. He got back to me right away, got me a quote and had everything taken care of within a few days, since it was a much bigger issue than I had realized. He explained everything to me and it was just like having family over to fix something. He even offered to help me set up my water softener. Troy was awesome. We had water back up due to a blockage between our kitchen and laundry room. We cleaned up the mess and called TJ Huggard plumbing. He came over and checked it out as well as every bathroom in the house and water heater. Everything looked ok and seemed to be flowing fine so he gave us some tips to keep the pipes clear and what to watch out for in the future should something else arise. Then he left without charging us ANYTHING. I really appreciated not only his honesty but helpful explanation of what most likely happened and extremely helpful tips. Plus he was over the top nice. They recently came out and replaced our disposal after I attempted to do it myself. I wish I would have called them in the first place. These guys are better than 5 star! After the help at home, I had them come to my office where we were having an issue with only hot water in the women's bathroom and only cold in the men's and in the men's there was only a trickle of water. Other plumbers have been out in the past but none could fix these issues. Troy got it fixed. I don't think there's a job they can't tackle.
