I maybe go in Von Maur once a season, and it is even more noticeable at least to me, when you visit a store in longer intervals. They do have excellent eye-catching merch displays and still focused on upscale dressing and seemed like every section had a sales associate to help and areas were upkept. They are targeting heavily toward the older higher income demographics. It is especially telling when you listen to their choice of piano music in them. I would think a salesclerk would go a bit bonkers hearing taped renditions over and over of sickeningly sweet instrumental earworm inducing oldies all day long. I'm surprised this mall chain has lasted, as it hasn't really changed with the times. As times get ever more difficult with less to spend in this way, it will be interesting to see how this chain reacts.

The merchandise is high end, name brand. They carry men's, women's and children's clothing and shoes and a small section of seasonal household decor. Yesterday, I bought several gifts. The store was decorated with a pianist playing Christmas music. I found exactly what wanted and an associate carefully took the information for wrapping and sending. I saw several other things I wanted, including Christmas outfits for my granddaughters. I left without buying, but later in the day decided my girls needed those outfits. I called the store and Deidreana found the outfits and put them on hold until I got back over there. The outfits were even on sale. Returns/exchanges are easy. They put gift receipts in each package. The store is always immaculate and has lovely restrooms. There is plenty of parking around the store, although parking fills during the holiday shopping season. I recommend and will probably go back this week myself.

I was shopping for outfits for an upcoming vacation, so I spent some time browsing the women's and juniors' sections, dresses, clearance racks, shoes, and accessories. One thing I like about this store is that they carry a little bit of everything, from clothing and shoes to beauty products, handbags, and other accessories. The store isn't very large, but they manage to fit a lot inside. Sadly, I didn't find anything that caught my eye this time, so I ended up leaving empty handed. Even so, the service was good. I was greeted when I walked in, and the checkout line looked like it was moving quickly and wasn't very long. This location is in the strip next to Trader Joe's on the north side of Indianapolis and shares a parking lot with the surrounding businesses, making it easy to get in and out. While I didn't score any deals on this visit, I'd still stop by again because you never know what bargains you'll find. They rotate stock frequently.

I like shopping here because they usually have a good selection of clothing at very reasonable prices. This location is two stories, although I don't think there's much on the second floor. The women's/junior section is on the first floor, off to the right when you walk in. I like that they have a section dedicated just to dresses, which made my search a little easier. It's organized by sizes which helps, but sometimes I still look through other sizes as things get placed all around. I spent some time looking through the racks and finally found the perfect dress for my graduation. Not only was it exactly what I was looking for, but it was only $13! You really can't beat getting a whole dress for that price. The women's shoe section is right near the dresses, so I stopped there to complete my outfit. Luckily, I found a cute pair of shoes to match for less than $20. You may have to spend a little time searching through the racks, but in my experience it's usually worth it. Burlington is a great place to find stylish pieces without breaking the bank. The checkout line moved quickly, which was another plus. They have Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany and Company, Nordstrom and they have a very nice Nike store. It's a very small mall, but it is worth a while and you get the things you need. I really like the customer service as well and plus they have a nice landmark movie theater inside and a lot of restaurants. Just FYI, the Saks Fifth Avenue store is closed but they have enough stores there if you want some nice designer stuff . They also have the cheesecake factory there, and other good eateries that you can choose from in a very nice food court as well.
