In 2025 a fence put up by Ergeon in 2018 falling down. Center Post failing. Called the company and…read morethey would not fix the post but will instead put a sister post next to it to brace it for $900. I had an independent contractor replace the center Post for $500. This involved taking down the fence around the post, and removing the concrete bottom and failing post. Turned out that the culprit was termites invading from the bottom of the post and weakening it. Apparently the concrete bottom did not cover the bottom of the post.

Care was taken to clean the surface, fill superficial cracks from tree roots and the new seal makes it look like new. We appreciate that we all worked together despite our conflicts. In addition, our driveway and upper parking spot imposed a tight compound slope concern, but James tackled that problem very astutely. Good communication, he showed up early and got it all done in one day. I didn't realize how out of level the existing slab was but he was able to accommodate and the section he poured was perfectly level. I did however end up renting a scarifier to bring down some parts 3/4" and grinding that smooth. In hindsight, I should have had Joe and his crew initially work it down like that from the start. But I guess in the moment it was too rushed to figure out the ideal compromise. The concrete delivery truck did come up short. He had to go and get bags to hand mix. That wasn't ideal since I was going off a spec sheet that said no hand mix. Overall it was an enjoyable little project and Joe and his crew did an excellent job. Can't wait to put the slab to use!

It was over 3500 sq ft of lawn and irrigation, as well as concrete fixes around other parts of our property and pool tile repair. I chose them because they had the best strategy to combat the problem, even though they weren't the cheapest quote we received. I wanted the fix to last long term, not just hold me over for a year or two before another gopher invasion destroys our yard. Everything was extremely professional and delivered to contract specifications. We were extremely happy with the results. They had to move a portion of our fence to get the big equipment in but you wouldn't even know it had been moved because they were total pros putting things back. When we asked for additional scope of work (a French drain), they were quick to get back to me with a quote and incorporating the additional work didn't push out the timeline. All in all, highly recommend and we'll definitely use them again for our landscaping needs.

The crew was professional, paid attention to the details, and did a very good job with the cleanup afterward. The pricing was also a major plus. We received a quote from Black Diamond that was more than 50% higher. Black Diamond certainly does a lot more marketing, but we didn't see any difference in the proposed work to justify paying that much more. The pavers and borders came out great, and the finished work has made a noticeable difference to the front of our house. If you're getting quotes for a paver project, I'd definitely recommend getting a quote from them. Good quality work, reasonable pricing, finished ahead of schedule, and no mess left behind.
