I was helped by Indigo Salti, who was kind, patient, and incredibly helpful. He took the time to walk me through my options and made sure I felt confident about the phone and plan I chose. His professionalism and genuine care really stood out. T-Mobile is lucky to have someone like him on their team! Even if it might be a further drive for you I highly suggest this store and in particular indigo. You will have his full attention while he is with you and he makes the process so easy :-)

Unfortunately, T-Mobile customer care couldn't assist and my only option was to take it into a store. We are not from Austin, so I just found a random location that was close by the Apple Store. When I showed up, a guy greeted me and said someone would help and then disappeared to the back. All staff were tied up with serious looking customers that appeared to be buying phones - not a quick process. As I waited, never once did they acknowledge me nor let me know I would be helped soon. About 30 minutes in, two families walk in and a young lady - who was still assisting a customer, approached them and checked them in. A few minutes later, I noticed she was helping the first family that came in. I let her know that I was there before and she kind of blew me off. Out of frustration, I called Apple support and asked them if I could do something else because the T-Mobile people were not helping. They heard me and one employee even said in an angry tone "we're trying to help you sir." He then asked another employee, "can you help this guy". The employee Rob was very polite and professional and helped me in minutes. I was out of the store and made it to see my son's game - which is why were in Austin. When I called the store a couple of days later to express my concerns and share my appreciation for Rob, the supervisor/ manager was not professional and said in a sarcastic tone "I'll coach the staff and tell Rob you said he did a great job." I expressed to him that it was very clear why his subordinates behave the way they do, it starts from the top. And I wasn't going to write a review if I was going to be the lone bad review because it seems this store has some positive reviews. But noticed many had experienced what I did and I wanted to warn others. Don't be fooled by the positive reviews... If you are going in to spend top dollar on the latest iPhone, you may get some attention but good luck if you need a little free basic tech report. You're not worth their time. This is is why I'll go to the Apple Store all day everyday.

I could hear the compressed air blasting like crazy lol. Less than 5 minutes later they produced some lint and what looked like a tiny splinter of wood. They took the time to test the device in front of me to make sure I was satisfied. Then, they said we're glad to help and didn't charge me! After the repair I started having brightness issues, charging problems, and serious touch lag -- things that were NOT happening before the replacement. When I came back to show them the problems, there was no empathy and no effort to fix the situation. Instead, they told me I would need to pay another $200. That's unacceptable after already paying for a repair that clearly wasn't done properly. It feels like a cheap third-party screen was used, because the phone hasn't worked the same since. Spending $200 just to be told to pay another $200 again is not reasonable. I left feeling like my time and money were wasted. I would not recommend this place if you expect quality repairs or accountability.

The guy showed up on time, he was here to replace the old battery in my sons iPhone, because I learned my lesson, in the form of a huge explosion in my kitchen, a fireball, toxic smoke, and panicking children, that Lithium batteries, are nothing to be messed with. He replaced the battery, in the dark, in his car, in less times than it took me to remove the screws from the old phone. The price was even cheaper than trying to do it myself. So all in all. The only expectations we had of GCS were those that they told us we should have as they made…read morepromises and commitments through their sales process. We had high hopes for our experience with GCS, unfortunately our high hopes came crashing down along with our computers and servers. It felt as though the team at GCS was determined to, one at a time, break the commitments and promises they made. At one point the servers that GCS was both responsible for and monitoring went down, we let them know and begged them to send someone to our location. At first Darryl one of the owners told us that GCS was not responsible for the servers! This was after we had paid fees for support and monitoring for months, we needed GCS and it took almost a day for them to get things straight on their end. In the meantime we were down and losing even more money. Things were so bad that less than a year into our engagement we had to have a 'reset meeting' with them so they could 'verify they followed their processes'. This was only after dozens of emails and several months of us asking for help and letting them know that we felt like the exorbitant fees we were paying bought us little or nothing. What followed was the worst month of service we had and we barely survived. When we fired GCS and let them know just how bad things have been they let us know that this never happens to them and we were the anomaly. I wasn't surprised they have a blame the customer culture that clearly begins with the two owners Joe and Daryl nad their GM/Project Manager Shane who really acts as more of a buffer to absorb all the issues and complaints you will have. If you have ever called into a tech support line and been talked down to like you didn't know what you were doing, you know exactly what it feels like to talk to one of the two owners or the general manager of GCS. Don't get me started on their staff - the 'answer' we got most often when we called with a problem was 'give me a second and I will Google it.' My team had such a little trust in their managed services and support that most of them stopped calling. Since then we have talked to several other companies who have had a similar experience with GCS - surprisingly enough, we were not the first and only! We transitioned to another local provider, Technology Pointe and they have been fantastic. I am disappointed we can't give GCS zero stars since that seems most appropriate.
