Then I was asked about the rep changing my plan. I said I was fine with what I had. They then insisted for them to look at it and see if they could save me money. They said it would only take a min. So they logged into my account and said I had an outdated plan. They were gonna give me a current plan that was 70 dollars cheaper a month. That felt great. Then they told me that since I was saving 70 dollars a month I could get the new tv box they were promoting that was 50 dollars a month. I told them I didn't need it. Dint want it. That I didn't watch tv much. They called a couple days later to try to sell me again. Well one month later I get my bill which is now much more than it ever was. I called AT&T guy and he explained my bill to me. I'm going back tomorrow to get the names of the people that did this and I love AT&T service. But I don't like how they lie to there costumers. Please be very careful with the folks in this store. They seem to be snakes in the grass

The staff was picking people at a random completely disregarding the list. In the 30 minutes I was there, I saw one person whom checked the list as other staff members just picked the most recent person to walk in. Who does that? Forget unorganized for a second. Please make that make sense. Fyi there is a call ahead list on a screen in the back right of the store. This was not that. This was pure stress and unorganized incompetent staff.

Trade in scam I did…read moretheir promotion where they took my old phone and supposedly gave me $1,000 toward a new iPhone, with the catch that I'd be in a 36-month contract. I agreed, thinking the trade-in value would truly cover the cost of the new phone over the term. What they didn't make clear is that if I leave early, I still owe around $700 on the phone, even though they already took my old phone as part of the deal. So AT&T has my old device and still expects me to pay hundreds of dollars if I want to get out of the contract before the 36 months are up. This feels incredibly misleading and unfair. Had I known I'd basically be trapped in a 3-year commitment with a huge bill to escape, I never would have agreed to this promo in the first place. AT&T's promo sounded great on the surface, but the reality is it's a long-term trap. I feel like I lost my old phone and my flexibility as a customer. I will not be doing business with AT&T again after this, and I strongly recommend that anyone considering their trade-in "deals" read the fine print very carefully and think twice.
