We had a beautiful morning to check out City Flea for the first time! We picked up a cold brew and…read morefresh donuts then people watched as we waited for our family to arrive. Everyone we encountered from attendees to vendors were all friendly and laid back. There were plenty of cool flea market clothing finds but we were mostly attracted to the art, much of which had Cincinnati themes. Our daughter and her boyfriend just moved into a new place, and they got a few pieces of unique art, including a Findlay Market painting, to hang on their walls. Washington Park was well maintained and clean. There were lots of park benches and the shade from the big trees added to the ambiance. The flea market was a great way to spend an hour or so.

Terrible experience! Stopped in yesterday to purchase new phone before going on a trip. The clerk and I agreed on the model, and he immediately started the data transfer from my SIM card to the new one which, as I later discovered, actually broke my phone. Only after that was completed, he started processing the transaction, which led to lots of trouble with not finding the correct price in the system, phone calls, going in the back, etc. Finally he told me that he'd figure it out and call me. I followed up later, and his coworker said there would be a new phone for me by the next morning. Returned today, and there was no new phone, although the same clerk claimed he could get one in an hour, but I didn't have the time. He then tried to convince me to make the purchase in his store and pick up the phone, which he now said was a slightly different model, at another store. Why would I buy a phone I hadn't tried using? Why not go to a different store? That's what I did. At the Clifton location, I learned that that's an actual corporate store, but not this one. I was told that the price quoted for the phone was if I was getting a new plan, which I clearly was not. Buyer beware! Either this clerk was completely clueless, or trying to scam me because I was short on time. Outraged that a simple transaction took over 3 1/2 hours over 2 days and 2 store. read more
