Just switch to T-Mobile they have some good priced plans. The store is large nice style good phone selection. The service was good the 2 times we have been there. If you walk in and they are busy it may take a few minutes to get service. That is because it takes them a while to set up people with new plans or phones. They have had 2 or 3 employees when we went and they are working the whole time. The strip center is busy but we had no issue parking. The guy who helped me, kawane, was soooo nice and he replaced my screen protector while we waited for them to check and see what they had in stock. There was a small wait because there are only 2 people working the front at the time I came. The store is pretty big so you can shop around while you wait. I have been trying for a while to get T-Mobile warranty to replace my phone under my insurance or warranty and i contacted Samsung directly. Samsung did a 3 way call and made it happen. Thank you Samsung. I waited 4 days without a working phone. I waited an hour and half for T-Mobile to get my phone activated/set up and when I got home, I tried to use the phone and the SIM card was not activated. Disbelief. They said, you have to come back up here so we can give you a new sim card. "Couldn't they have checked the phone to make sure it was working before they handed it over" What a huge waist of time, The young lady assisting with the switch seems like she doesn't like her job either. They are always busy and don't have enough workers or the workers have trouble doing the job needed. Also the system doesn't work it's really bad service (waiting time) and very unreasonable. This was today in the afternoon. After two weeks trying to contact T-Mobile by phone, which nobody answered, and trying to make the change online, but the system wouldn't let him do it, my husband decided that we go to a store, to see the phones . We were met by a girl named Ashley. The worst customer service I have seen in a long time. She is very rude, and tough to talk to people. She didn't bother to say hello, or introduce herself, or ask how she could help us. My husband explained to her that he wanted to change our phones. She rudely asked him for the phone number and ID. Without asking if we liked any phones, the first thing she told my husband was that he had to pay the bill, so we could change phones. We asked her for two models to see if they were available, and after disappearing for a long time, she came out to say that neither had it available in the store. My husband was about to tell her that he was no longer interested in making the change of phones because he did not like how she was treating him, and Ashley realized my husband's discomfort, and changed his tone. Meanwhile, there was another employee walking through the store and at no time did she come to see if she could help, or if everything was okay. The next time we need to change phones, we will look for other options. We don't need to put up with rude people and have a hard time on the phone. I do not recommend anyone to go to this place. I walked into this store with my s/o and not one employee (there were 3 on the floor) acknowledged us. Not a "Welcome to T-Mobile" or anything.. We were there for about 10 minutes. Walked around the the store looking at the products until it was our turn. We were there to make a payment and purchase some iPods. After the 10 minutes another gentleman, same skin color as the employee's walked in, then all of a sudden I hear "Welcome to T-Mobile" from the employee who was working with with the current customer she was helping . The other employee then tells him, "Someone will be right with with you, they (us) are in front of you and then someone will help you". I was beside myself. I didn't want to believe these people were discriminating us because we were not like them but they proved me wrong. We left and went to another one off of Cockrell Hill and received much better customer service. And guess what, there were customers there of all races and they were all being treated with smiles on their faces and respect. This T-Mobile is a disgrace. read more

While contemplating paying off my lease on this phone, I was looking at my plan, and I have unlimited data, which is throttled after 1GB. I usually use around that, sometimes more, but invariably I get a text message from Tmobile telling my that I have reached my 1GB limit and will have speeds as slow as 2G (which is still better than the days of charging per kB after a certain limit, so I'm not saying I'm being ruthlessly oppressed). I then saw a radio button that offered 2GB for no increase in cost. "Surely," I said to myself, "surely there must be some catch, because otherwise they would automatically change it from 1GB to 2GB, if they're just changing the default data limit. I better give them a call and see what's up." I call, I get someone who does not listen to me. Perhaps I am hard to understand. I asked if upgrading the data limit from 1 to 2 GB would cost any more money per bill, and he asked my name. Ok, he's right, that was a little rude of me, sorry, here's my name, this is my problem. "And what brings you to us today?" Hmm. Well, maybe he has to go by a script. Ok, I'll play along. "The reason I'm calling is ... yadda yadda yadda..." "I see, so your calling about yadda yadda yadda?" "Yes." "Well, that's odd, because we don't have a 1GB option. So what are you calling about?" "I'm calling about yadda " "That's not possible. We don't offer a 1GB plan." "It is possible because it's happening to me right now. If I watch a few youtube videos, I'll reach my limit and I'll take a screenshot of the text message tmobile sends me and send it to you." "I'm sorry, it just isn't possible. Why are you calling?" "I'm calling because..." "Let me transfer you." I think to myself... perhaps I'm the jerk in this. I feel like the jerk in this. Am I lying? Am I sure the limit is 1GB? Yes, of course I am. He's playing mind games with me. "I'm going to put you on hold while I transfer you." "Sure" (as if there's an option to transfer me while not on hold... now that I say that, perhaps there is...). Fast forward 38 minutes, I get to talk to someone else, I tell her why I'm calling, and I open with "How long has 2GB been the default?" She counters with "And what's your name?" "My name is..." "Alright, and your telephone number?" "blah blah blah" "And the last 4 of your social?" "Argh argh argh argh". "Ok, what seems to be the problem?" "Yadda yadda yadda." "Hmm, that's odd. Let me upgrade you to 2GB." Nice body swerve, but that's not why I'm calling. "No, that's not why I'm calling. I want to know how long this 2GB has been the default data limit." "Hmmm. Let me check the notes in the account." "Will the notes in my account answer how long Tmobile has been offering 2GB data plans by default?" "Please hold." Sigh. 2-3 minutes later, I don't know, I was ironing... "Ok, sir, it looks like you joined almost 2 years ago." "Yes. You didn't have to check the notes for that, I could have told you." "Well, it seems when you joined, 2GB wasn't the default, 1GB was." "Yes, I could have told you that, too. You didn't need to check the notes for that." "Well, we sent a text message." "We'll get back to the absurdity of that statement in a moment, but I'm assuming you sent this text message when 2GB became the default, and as I have never received such a message from you about data being capped by default at 2GB, I'd like to know when exactly 2GB became the default data limit." "Let me check." Ye gadz! "Well, sir, it looks like we started doing that around the beginning of the year." "You didn't think that would be worth telling me?" "We sent a text message." "I received no such text message." "It was sent out to all our customers." "Even the ones who have larger data caps?" "Yes." "Are you sure?" "Yes, everyone." "Even the ones it didn't apply to?" "What?" "So, you sent a text message asking people if they wanted to upgrade their data plans for free?" "Yes." "Do you think anyone would have said no?" "Sir?" "Do you think anyone would say no to a free upgrade? Does someone sitting is economy seating get sent a text to see if they want to be automatically upgraded to a higher class for free?" "I didn't receive the text message." "I can upgrade you to 2GB right now, but wouldn't you prefer 6GB for only 15 dollars more?" "No, because you're increasing the cost.
