There were only 2 other customers in the store yet I still waited approximately 30 minutes before I received service. Once I finally sat down w an associate and we began getting my account set up I was told the phone I was purchasing was eligible for a trade in discount of $350. I was elated because I did have an older phone not in use I could trade in. I asked if I needed to go and get it and was told not to worry as I had 30 days to bring it in. I come back into the store 48 hours later and am then told, by the same sales associate, that that promo had "expired" and my trade in was worthless. I reminded him he told me I had 30 days to bring the phone in, and that i even offered to go get it that day. He acknowledged that conversation but stated was unable to help me. Naturally I was not happy w this response and asked to escalate. I get home and get a call from the store manager Frankie. Within 2 minutes of our conversation he is cutting me off and very defensive and most importantly offering no solutions. He was extremely unprofessional and ultimately ended up hanging up on me when I asked to escalate. The store manager! She said that I could get 2 of these watches Free + a reasonable monthly fee+ *Insurance that she said I could drop in *3 months. Turns out these watches DO NOT signal for 911 when you fall. I had a bad fall & it didn't call 911. Our Monthly T-Mobile bill has doubled randomly with multiple charges of $1. Spoke to a Supervisor who said it would take $700+ to pay the balance for the 2 "free watch phones" or she said, "Maybe you could sell them online". To say that T-MOBILE has had a serious decline in the 14 years we've had them is an understatement. Calling their Corporate office in "Bellevue, Washington today. T-MOBILE is not a member of BBB, however their complaint rating is " 1.83 in negative ratings of which they have thousands. "If something seems to good to be True.. it is probably NOT True. I can't say enough about how great they were and I am thankful for their professionalism, kindness, and patience. My daughter, who is deaf, had lost her phone while on vacation, and I was trying to help her regain access to her Apple ID. I was already dealing with a stressful situation and honestly didn't know much about eSIMs. I had previously been told that an eSIM could not be installed without a QR code and that there would be a $5 charge. I was then sent to the Riverview location, which was a 30-45 minute drive from where I had been. When I arrived, Giselle listened to what I needed, understood the situation, and took care of the eSIM installation quickly and effortlessly. There was no QR code, no $5 charge, and most importantly, no runaround. She simply helped me. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciated her kindness and professionalism. She could have treated me like just another customer, but instead she took the time to understand what I was dealing with and made a stressful situation much easier. I have been an AT&T customer for more than 20 years, and Giselle reminded me what good customer service is supposed to look like. Giselle, thank you for helping me when I needed it. You were kind, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful. AT&T should be proud to have someone like you representing the company.
