Dear T-Mobile Customer Relations, I visited your 4th St. North location in St. Petersburg today to have my screen protector replaced, a simple visit that unfortunately turned into a poor customer experience. When I walked in, the associate, Damien, asked if I needed help. I jokingly responded, "No, I just came to hang out with the people at T-Mobile!" He immediately turned around and said, "I can see where this is going," and told me he didn't have to help me. That level of attitude and unprofessionalism was completely unnecessary. It ultimately took the manager, Spiro, to come over and assist me with something as basic as changing a screen protector on my iPhone. This isn't the first time I've had issues at this store. Last year, the service was so bad I switched to Verizon altogether. The only reason I came back is because Verizon's coverage wasn't strong at my home not because the customer service improved. T-Mobile's network is excellent, but the customer service at this location doesn't reflect the brand. Customers have choices, and interactions like this one make it harder to stay loyal. read more

Craig H.After buying a new cell phone I received a substantial charge on my bank account from T-Moble that I thought was my monthly change for service. I soon received a similar charge that actually was for my monthly service charge. I Found out that the first charge (over $70.00) was for the phone case and tempered glass that was recommended to protect my phone, I subsequently found a better phone case and tempered glass protector on Amazon for less than $10.00 each I then found an article on the internet that said that customers have been complaining that T-Moble sales people have been pressured to sell customers things that they really didn't need or at outrageous prices. This store sells BRICKS. I purchased a new Nokia phone that stopped working in less than 12 hours. This was supposed to be a great gift. Returned to this shithole store and they said there is nothing they could do. Obviously they do not know what they are doing. If not for Ambree & her staff I most likely would not of stayed with T-Mobile. I had switched over from Verizon and the porting process coupled with T-Mobile switching to a new software had so many issues it was insane. The people at the call centers for both Verizon & T-Mobile gave me wrong information and were uncaring. They also do not offer solutions only empty apologies. As a customer I felt helpless. Honestly at the end of the day when you find someone like Ambree, Adam, Truitt, Madison and the whole staff, you do business with them because they genuinely care. It's super rare to find good honest people. Ambree is a gem. I hope Tmobile can recognize what a pivotal employee she is to the company. It is because of her that I am still with T-Mobile. This is not to one store it's TMobile as a whole. I have had SPRINT for 20 years with very little problems in coverage.. now since the merger I drop calls , no reception period, text won't send, etc.!!!! I'm really considering switching and I realize that my acct with 9 devices is nothing to them but I'm so dissatisfied, disappointed, and disgusted with the service!!! read more

I have been a customer with T-Mobil for over 20 years. Things go fine until you buy a new phone that stops working properly after two months and you want, and have been told three times that you will receive a new phone, only to be find out that a "refurbished " phone is what you will get. They should go back and listen to their representative, recorded call supposedly, saying that I would be getting a NEW phone. Of course, I can get a new phone if I upgrade at my cost. She made the time go by quickly and had a great sense of humor. She provided her cell phone number if we had any problems or questions. I work in customer service and I can say, this was top notch. Well?!?! I was with boost .. I know no simple and it sucked although my plan was only 40 a month but the phone was useless... so tmobile uses sim cards ... yay!!!!! OK so I don't have that great of a phone I didn't want to spend 600.... I got the 60$ plan and they promise I can use it in Canada woohoo so for that I'm grateful and excited and my plan will never go up and yes I can see where the staff should be a little bit more interested and I know there is a lot of people waiting behind me for quite a long time for them to set up the plan somebody needs organizer computer system just a wee bit better to make it a lot simpler I know that there was a lady standing there from the store that was waiting to get change from them and ended up leaving which stops ok but the customers that were kept waiting because they were so busy and kind of crazy still getting it for me I'm all set up now welcome to T-Mobile read more

If Jon hadn't saved the day this review would totally be 1 star! Me and two other girls went into this location to purchase new phones. My friend was helped by an African American lady and I was helped by Jon. When the lady realized that we were together she tried to push my friend off to the gentlemen who was helping me. AND SHE DIDNT DO IT IN A NICE WAY. Jon very politely told her to just help my friend out as he was going to be with me for a while since he was going to back up my old phone and transfer to my new as well. I understand that not everybody is going to be nice and polite but when working with the public you kind of have no choice..anyways, THANK YOU Jon for the great service and for being so polite! I called to hopefully switch from Sprint to T mobile. Naturally, I've never used T Mobile, so I had a lot of questions. The associate basically told me they can't do any better than who I'm currently using now. Actually, she gave me a quote for even more money. I'm not sure if she thought she muted me but I asked her to repeat something and she let out a huge sigh and said "ugh, omg really??". Definitely won't be using them. read more

My first experience at this store was definitely five-star - staff was friendly, helpful, chatty - AWESOME. I went in today and maybe they all got bit by zombies and therefore are left without souls or brains? Yikes. Exact same staff, but everyones eyes were literally glazed over and they were beyond disinterested with my concerns. So far beyond disinterested, I would up that to annoyed that I was there. I had originally bought my G2 there, but it had recently been stolen, so I went there to activiate my replacement phone. Again, they seemed annoyed. After activating my phone (which seriously, they acted like they were doing me a favor), I said I was going to shop around for a case. I was told "There's only one left on that rack there *points tiredly*". I went to "that rack there" and couldn't find anything labeled as my exact phone so picked up the one that looked closest and asked "Will this work on my phone?" and was told "That's not even the right phone - its a totally different phone from your phone!" Yikes. Whoa. Settle down, bub. Going forward, I'll feel more comfortable with the TMobile staff at any local Walmart as opposed to these TMobile representantives. Heck, I'll feel more comfortable dealing with someone dealing phones out of the trunk of their car. Jerks. read more

Very nice, convenient location in st. pete and super friendly staff. T-Mobile is still a large corporation but I think you get better results by going into a location and talking to real people. Went to T-Mobile at 5230 4th St. N., St. Petersburg on July 1, 2013 thinking I would switch carrier from AT&T to T-Mobile. The person at the desk, was rude, would not give me a chance to talk, told me my present phone was not unlocked, etc, etc, etc. T-Mobile and their staff DO NOT DESERVE the One Star .... I could go on and on about the individual...but why? Needless to say, I AM STAYING WITH AT&T. I receive great technical support even over the phone; and THE STAFF ARE NOT RUDE ! ! ! read more

Walked into the store where there was one associate helping a customer. The only acknowledgement I received was a "we'll be right with you" which never happened. As another associate walked out from the back, she helped a customer who walked in after me. Okay I understand she didn't see me or thought I was already helped, fine. Another associate, who I wasn't sure if he worked there (no Tmobile shirt or nametag) was messing with a product display, didn't say hi, or offer assistance. Meanwhile the first associate is still chit chatting with a customer about rock climbing well after the purchase was complete. He never once informed the other associates that I still needed assistance and that I was before the several other people who had walked in. It really shows what kind of management and lack of caring these people have, especially considering they do get Commission on their sales. Went to Parkside location, spent my $700 where where I felt valued and had a great experience. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars, I was a tmobile customer for over 8years and then due to them trying to get by hook or crook another 2 year contract I stopped their service and since it was 2 days over the billing cycle they charged me a whole months payment. I say go to another carrier. read more
