BEWARE, of these T-Mobile Representatives sharing your personal data such as Driver's License information, phone number, etc. to scammers, gang stalkers, and hustlers within the community utilizing Meta AI glasses to capture personal data. While in-store trying to change my phone#, the representative tried to push certain numbers off on me. Typically these phone#s have constant scam calls and FaceTime scam calls. I wanted a particular area code & zip code that I mainly conduct business. The representative writes my new number in large print on the top of the confirmation sheet. Mind you the sheet has the new number written in small print. But to ensure the number was visible with the Meta AI Glasses he wrote the number in large print. The new phone number I received was hacked and the entire phone had to be reset with all logins & passwords changed within 24 hours from the in-store visit. Also, it took several tries for him to capture my Driver's License for account verification. Again sharing personal data to these scammers within our community. This didn't click until I woke up the next day and my phone was hacked. Poor customer service. Was a loyal customer for many years and wanted to upgrade my daughter's iPhone 13. Upon inspection, the clerk said an indicator inside the sim slot indicated moisture. I looked but could not see the indicator. Clerk said the would not give any credit for upgrade. Discusted, we to AT&T. They said the would give $800 credit for a new iPhone. So, I upgraded all 4 of our phones for no cost and signed up for their service, and also switched home Internet for their fiber service. When I called TMob to cut off the Internet they asked why. I explained what happened, and they said they apologized and said they would rectify the situation if I switched back. I politely said it's too late, I already switched. read more

I went in added two lines for my young kids and was persuaded on a watch was told my bill would be roughly about $245.00. I ask multiple times because I didn't want no surprises. The gentleman (Manager) even used a calculator to get this estimated bill. I was previously paying 176.00 before adding these. My bill more than double to $370.00. How is this a family plan deal/discount???When I went back was told I got all promotions supposedly. When I stated I ask you my calculated monthly bill was no where near $400.00 he just said ya. He was also pushing internet that day..pretty much every service immensely. He definitely didn't care about me as a customer and that he completely mislead me. Do not go to this location. We went to get a new phone that he never activated, never ported over the number and the phone had data declined. When I already had 4 lines set up to include unlimited data. He literally went in and changed that. Poor poor customer service from this location. The ONLY reason I'm giving this place any stars at all is because of the rep Davida that helped my fiancé and I. She was a breathe of fresh air and was very welcoming and polite. I felt like that other women working at this location have an attitude and are very dismissive. Customer service is not a strong suit at this location and a refresher course on how to treat customers wouldn't be a bad idea. I had to educate one of the employees on how they should properly speak to customers because I couldn't tolerate her attitude and poor demeanor a minute longer. I have always had a Samsung Phone and last week my phone got a virus that shut it down. So I went to the Metro store and the convinced me to purchase a T-Mobile brand phone REVVL 6 Pro. Not only is it a terrible phone, with a bad battery life, all the features are flawed. They would not allow me to return or exchange this phone. I contacted TMobile and not only did they refuse to help me but they do not stand behind their product, please do not purchase any T-Mobile brand phones. I am now stuck with a phone I will not use. I am proud of T-mobile and a very happy customer. 3Years ago I switched to T-Mobile and they've been great! I usually use their phone customer service. Every time I interact with T-Mobile I have the pleasant experience of interacting with another human who is thoughtful, concerned about how I'm doing, what I need and how to most efficiently solve my issue. My experience this week has been amazing. Our family needed phone upgrades. One of the sales guys suggested that my hubby and I divide our service and both optimize our senior discount which saved me a lot of money. We ordered phones for Christmas but our teen informed me too late that she would never want a sherbet colored phone. I had already ordered green but I called and my helpful sales rep. She listened, verbally summed up my concern, spoke with her boss and got me a new black phone delivered in 24 hrs. Any other company would have made us wait till the 1st item had been returned. Honestly I'll just get the positives out of the way first. The workers are all decently nice, but the misinformation I was given depending on the employee was abysmal. I was told at first about the new IPhone 11 deal, trade in an iPhone and transfer a number to get 700 towards it, sounded too good to be true, and that's because it was. I was originally told that the 700 would be put down on the phone, leaving only what was left to be paid upfront, giving me an unlocked phone that I owned. This made no sense in hindsight, as why would they basically just give away a new phone for free unlocked, meaning I could leave T-Mobile right after that? I took the bait like a fool, and in my haste spent quite a bit to unlock my phone from ATT to transfer my line over. I already had another phone to trade in, and I was just waiting for ATT to unlock the phone. The unlock process involved me being unable to restore my backup, so I lost a bunch of stuff for my phone, good job ATT, or maybe Apple if I take ATT's word for it. Anyway, not 2 days later, I go back to this store to proceed with the deal, and what do ya know, a different employee now has a totally different story. The 700 is a credit that is applied to the phone, but even for the cheapest model, you'd still have to put down a deposit, and be on a 2 year monthly payment plan before it's fully payed off. I explained that I was told an entirely different story, but it's not like anything could be done. So here's my question. Why the misinformation? Why the lies? I looked up the details myself after getting told the truth, are you telling me the employees can't get this information even easier than me? While ATT and Apple are both also at fault in the equation, it was the original guidance I got from T-Mobile that led down this path of failure. I spent 100s or dollars, wasted time, and lost things from phone, all for nothing. This is not an indictment against T-Mobile itself, but this store. How can employees be on totally different wavelengths when it comes to a deal with a specific set of rules? It's dishonest. This store wasn't the only the one that fed me the false narrative, leading me to wonder if this is a bigger problem than one store. All I ask is for honesty when being told about offers, promos, anything really. Do the people who walk into the store a favor and give them the correct information, it'll make life a lot easier. read more

Just went in here, waited for 45 minutes, 3 staff members working, all busy with customers. Never acknowledged us or apologized for the wait. Got sick of waiting, left. Went back an hour later. ALL THE SAME CUSTOMERS WERE STILL THERE. T-Mobile lost a customer today. Zero customer service and apparently zero ability to streamline their process and show that they value the customer's time. I told her that I was new to all of this ! She ran my information, point me to the phones that where affordable. She even told me that I didn't have to put anything down but I ended up paying more! This is about the corporate billing though I did signup at this store. I wanted to not have a contract and save money from my prior provider, but T-Mobile ended up costing more. Continual billing problems with T-Mobile so I went back to my old provider as soon as my phones were paid off. When I switched, I experience slow unlocking of some of the phones on the account. One supervisor told me it would be over two weeks to switch a paid-off phone!!! And the review prompting event--a surprise bill after having called T-Mobile to pay off balance and was told I owed $0. Don't be tempted by a lower price ploy. They extract their rates in other ways. read more
