I came in Saturday to upgrade my phone and had a great experience. Literally so helpful and went above and beyond. They mentioned watch discount with my plan, so I came back today with that in mind. Night & day difference. The girl was zero help. They didn't have them on display so that was fine but she couldn't answer any of my questions. I just wanted to know the difference in the models. We came in here at the Round Rock IH35 location AT&T to buy some new phones. The associate named Angel was incredibly rude and very argumentative. He has no business handling customers if he's going to be rude like that. We ended up leaving and I will no longer go to that store. It should be a pleasant experience. The biggest mistake I've ever made was switching from cricket to AT&T. Especially this store. I'm constantly ignored, they never call me back, and one of the employees gave me his work number to text and still constantly ignores me. They promised me on paper a cheaper price, but have yet to give me that price. I've been waiting over a month for a solid response on fixing my situation but no surprise, nothing comes of it. Once again, at same AT&T Retail store, I was overwhelmed by top notch service. The AT&T store representative was Fred A. I came in to learn about the IPhone 14pro deal. Fred explained it in detail and sold me with his honesty, professionalism and courtesy. He explained every detail and all fine print of the offering to me. I have had many dealings with retail phone salespeople in my lifetime. Fred blew me away with how honest and knowledgeable he presented himself to me. I am a retired AT&T manager and know when a top notch employee shows his knowledge. I requested his management chain to directly contact his managers. DO NOT GO TO THIS AT&T STORE. I went in MAY 2020. They ripped me off. I asked to cancel my tablet line and they stated they did. They failed to tell me that they were charging me for a temporary phone line (where I purchased a new phone line and the phone outright) in which the next day I was suppose to give them the new line phone number and info. The next day I called them at the store and they told me to call AT&T's main number. I did. AT&T told me they had to charge me twice and I told them that the representative at the STORE DID NOT RELAY THAT TO ME. The MAIN AT&T customer service said they canceled the temporary line in May 2020. Now it is JUNE 2020... I was charged for my tablet w/insurance and the temporary phone line which should have both been taken off in MAY 2020. This is a CORPORATE STORE. They rip you off too. Luckily the 1-800 ATT# helped me. Let's see in a week if they really took the charges off... I've been with AT&T when it was CINGULAR WIRELESS... Really solid Customer Service! I was greeted with a very friendly and professional greeting. Astro assisted us and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! This location is easily accessible from I 35. This location has a great selection of phones, but accessories are somewhat limited. Probably as good as Best Buy, but less than Domain store. That being said, I would pick this location over Domain. I highly recommend this store! read more

We had to come in multiple times for the same issue after being told by costumer service that we could go into the location for a representative. They have no problem helping when you want to upgrade and spend money on accessories but when you have a problem they don't have a way to help. read more

Been a very good experience so far. I'm under a special plan that has some quirks to it. They were very helpful on getting to swapped over from sprint to att and my discounts setup. I really didn't have a desire to write a review for AT&T and not because I don't receive exceptional service every time but because I really hate calling customer service and hate having to go into the store even more...lol But seriously. Every time I go in there with an issue it is really busy but I still seem to get help relatively fast, with people who are great at what they do and make easy and fun conversation so that the time goes fast. Also, depends on the issue, but they will help you for free. Considering that I have been a loyal AT&T customer for years and feel appreciated by them makes me continue to want to stay with them. Avoid at all costs. i have been eoth AT&T for near 20 years. I wont knock the service but i will knock the people who AT&T used. First of all i went in to get a quote for service for internet and tv. i decided to think it over and the person helping me was Patrique. She was busy helping somebody else and said I should go ahead and go home and she would call me over the phone to setup. I said fine. She calls me on her way home asking me for all my private information saying she can setup everything from her house. Yea no thanks. I instrad head back to the store where a manager setups service for me and she was on a different page then me and Patrique. Its funny how people are in a rush to help you when you are buying something but the after service just plain is horrible. 1st i was quoted a price for u verse internet and tv @18mbps. The quote was absolutely off when i got my 1st bill. Also i was told because I was an AT&T customer there was no activation and installation fees. That was a straight up lie. I went back to the store twice only to get the run around. I had basically 2 weeks to cancel service and the manager conveniently held me off on the 13th day saying Patrique would credit back the $49 for activation or installation fee. That was a lie as well. Manager makes a copy of my bill and sends me way saying they will get back to me which of course was a lie. I went back to the store and of course she recognized me and says nothing to me hoping i wouldnt i recognize her. She plays stupid and the guy who is next up taking customers has to deal with me who has ansolutley no previous knowledge of my situation. Funny thing is the manager is standing next to this guy while im at the counter and says nothing until i confront her about the my bill she mad a copy of 3 days previously. The guy is dumbfounded that he has to deal with me when clearly the manager should have. This manager did her job cause 3 days before i xiuld have cancelled service but now im locked in. To avoid a scene she tells me to leave saying Patrique will contact me and credit my bill. That was a lie. Instead 3 more days later Patrique conveniently texts me to tell me that my rebate card is in the mail and im suppose to use that to pay activation and installation fees. Also if you go with ATT Uverse and you sign up for 18mbps internet, Uverse tv draws off ykur 18mbps which when i asked the manager and Patrique both denied knowing if that was the case. If they knew and didnt tell me that was plain dirty. And if they truly didnt know then what the hell are they doing there selling service they don't know about. Oh and i contacted Patrique she never responded back.... and of course I have proof cause i save all text messages and she responded once and decided to ignore me. I will be filing a complaint with AT&T. Again im not knocking the AT&T service but the people they hired to support and sell the service that they provide. I've been with ATT since Cingular days. Been a roller coaster (ATT as a whole). But recently I lost my phone. I had purchased it at Best Buy with their GeekSquad protection which DOES NOT cover lost/stolen phones. So I went to ATT and spoke with Patrique. I was originally going to just get a sim card and use an old phone I had laying around. BUT Patrique and John (Asst Mgr) were able to get me a NEW phone within my budget. This was a huge relief as I was not expecting that at all. It had been a rough day prior to making my trip in, but both Patrique and John were such a huge help, and of course friendly and kept the atmosphere friendly and fun. Of course I ended up purchasing the phone vs just getting a sim card, but I feel that this was the right road to go, and of course Patrique mentioned in ATTs warranty plan, they do cover lost/stolen phones. So at the end, I ended up with a new phone (which I wanted) AND had a pleasant experience. I do feel terrible for the people in the other reviews having bad experiences, but hope they do work with some of the people I had the opportunity to work with and change their perceptions. read more

I had the absolute best experience here. The rep was extremely helpful and personable. My wife and I got new phones, cases, screen protectors, the whole thing. We were in and out pretty fast too. I was going to come on here and 5 star this place, shout out to the rep that helped us, all that. But then I notice that I'm getting emails from AT&T about setting up my protection plan. I had never heard of this plan so I wasn't sure exactly what it was. Maybe it was free? Great! Nope. $30 a month on top of the extra $60 a month we're paying a month for two new phones. If it was pretty cheap, it wouldn't be a big deal, but signing up someone for this plan without explaining to them that you're doing it and that it'll be an extra $30 a month is pretty awful. I would've liked to have had the opportunity to decline it. That said, it's only been a week since we got the phones, so hopefully it doesn't show up on the bill. I cancelled it online today. Just to put in perspective, this extra $30 a month buys you Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. So it's not some small amount of money to throw away every month. You can buy things with it, things you like and need. Like paying a copay at a doctor or ordering mega pizza to cheer you up after writing ridiculous Yelp reviews. read more

Worst experience EVER!! We were convinced to buy a phone at half off and six months later I am still going in to the store to fight for my discount that they offered to get me to purchase this phone. The manager Joe was great and always made it right. This month I met Mike, mike isn't smart or good at his job! He decided to nickel and dime me over $45 that should have been taken off my acct, what a waste. Mike should find a new job, he simply sucks!! Also, Adam(with no last name) isn't good either. AT&T has been a miserable experience with the iPhone 6 upgrade...but this rating is for the Round Rock store, not the incompetent national company and its call center. To make a long story short, the staff here is helpful and try to make the best of what is given to them. Most of the time their systems are slow because the national AT&T systems are slow as hell. You really can't blame these guys, they are doing their best. I wanted to give recognition to Rory Flood, the consultant here. I was due a few hundred dollars in credit from AT&T from the iPhone 6 upgrade promotions and they weren't going through for some reason, despite the multiple calls to the call center. He followed up with me via text and phone calls, making sure I was being updated regularly and made sure I didn't have to come into the store again. This is the excellent customer service that AT&T and businesses need more of. Great job! I can't say enough bad things about this location and the people associated with them. The employees have misled or outright lied to me and my wife on multiple occasions, mostly to get us to change out of our grandfathered unlimited plan into a new one that was not as useful and ultimately cost more. I also went in to cancel my deceased mother's cell phone line, and they said they would but they did not. My wife and I changed our cable plan to go with the less expensive Direct TV offer, which I was dubious of, and now we have wasted TWO Saturdays waiting for the service people to show up for our scheduled appointments, and they neither came nor gave us a call or text to confirm. This, despite contacting a "regional manager" last week who assured me that they would be there today, and his secretary telling me this morning, when I was concerned about no communication, that "If he said it was today, then it was today". Well, guess what lady, THEY DIDN'T COME. Stop treating customers like we have nothing better to do than sit around for a month twiddling our thumbs HOPING that someone, someday, will decide to come out and connect our service and internet. Also worth noting that if you schedule any kind of appointment or service at this location, the employees here will be unable to contact them after the fact, and you will not receive any written confirmation. It turns out that the employee turnover rate is incredibly high here, and their lack of knowledge, and possibly lack of ethics, demonstrates the results. Don't be fooled by their apparent "friendliness", because they are all about getting you to buy or upgrade phones, and change plans to fit their quota, but their actual knowledge is useless. To be fair, I did have a few interactions with some individuals who tried to be helpful when the services were not rendered, but their inability to contact the workers scheduled, or to provide written confirmation leads me to believe that there are major breakdowns in communication. They are more than happy to give you a "customer service" number to call and send you on your way when you buy your phone, but unless you enjoy talking to people in foreign countries who have a hard time understanding your concerns, don't waste your time. read more

If you're looking to get things resolved, this is not the location to go to. A discount I should have been receiving was never applied to my account, I went in the store for help & while the sales associate did his best the Manager Mike was clueless and rude. He looked at the iPad aimlessly and kept shrugging his shoulders. He then said there was nothing he could do because he couldn't find any notes on the account. When I tried to show my evidence to show what happened, he didn't seem to care, was non empathetic, unengaged and uninterested that a customer may actually have a problem. I've been an AT&T customer for 15+ years and have never been treated like this in any of their stores. For the first time I felt like my business and loyalty wasn't valued. My husband and I came into this store hoping to have his phone fixed. Unfortunately, it had been rooted and nothing could be done about it. The customer support person that helped us recommended a similar phone at a reasonable price. (he was due for an upgrade) He was very informative and didn't seem to be "pushy" or "salesy". I would definitely recommend this store in Round Rock. Our wait was about 20 minutes or so but we were just walk ins on a Saturday at lunch time. They do have a way to schedule an appointment. HORRIBLE service. Went to upgrade our phones and plan a few months ago. Adam (manager) talked us into switching from Direct TV to Uverse and said it would be cheaper (NOT). Also said he could switch our internet to a faster speed (not even remotely noticeable). He and the sales rep said we would get a very high bill "but don't freak out", just bring the bill in and he could fix it for us. We received a bill for $700! I went to the store today to get the promised fix to my ridiculously high bill. The very rude store manager said there was nothing he could/would do. He said if we had some special deal worked out with Adam I could talk to Adam but he (store manager) would still be the one to approve it. Plus, while I was waiting an elderly man came in and asked for help paying his bill - store manager was very rude to him. And while the store manager and a sales person were looking at my bill another customer came in and said "I just have a quick question". Store manager dismissed her and said "I don't have anyone available right now" even though the rep right next to him wasn't doing anything except watching him look at my $700 bill. Can't believe I've stayed with AT&T this long. I asked how much it would cost me to walk away from AT&T completely. He said around $3k. Guess I'm stuck, for now. read more
