I came into this business at 4pm on a Saturday. They close at 9pm. I need help from a manager,…read morefor an override on an upgrade. This issue was because customer service attempted ti upgrade me and i declined because i wanted to perform the upgrade in the store. Therefore representative informed me of the issue and said that the manager just left and not one there was empowered to perform the override. Then, I'm informed that they will not have a manager in the next day. Therefore, i must wait an additional day to get the upgrade. The young lady to me that I could call ATT phone support to get the approval and the. She could help me. Well.... After sitting on hold for 20 minutes, an automated message advised me that the call center is closed and i should visit a store or ATT.com. What the absolute heck is going on? 1. Why is there not a manager or assistant manager available during store hours? 2. Why would an associate not offer to own the issue and call customer support with they phone and allow me to speak when make contact with a support person. 3. Why have a store open with no one empowered to handle escalated issues. I expect this lack of support from an authorized retailer but not from an actually ATT corporate store. This is what is feels like to be treated as a valued 20+ year client. IT FREAKING SUCKS!!! This is not a great look ATT!! N. Roberson

Me and my wife came here to upgrade our phones. We traded in an iPhone 12 Pro and 13 pro. We were…read moretold the 13 pro would cover the cost of the new phone and that we would receive $850 for the iPhone 12 Pro for trade in value. But after we received the new phone via delivery and swapped everything over and brought back the old phones to trade in, we were told we would only receive $350 for the iPhone 12 Pro and that there was nothing that could do about the trade in value. We upgraded 2 phone and watches because of the savings we would receive by doing so, as told to us by the employee and because we were receiving good trade in values for our phones. The only remedy they told us was we could downgrade one phone to a generation older to get a cheaper payment and that was it. But now we just feel like we got conned and lied too. The employee acted like they thought we had the same trade in phones even though it was discussed multiple times of the difference in trade in value during our initial visit. Our monthly phone bill is now $140 over what we were told it would be. It's very frustrating and unprofessional that they wouldn't hold to what we were originally promised. If you do business here, I suggest you get everything in writing or documented.

Best Buy is the only big box store that has primarily electronics anymore. So, its still the best…read morebet if you need some random thing fast and don't care about price. If you actually build your own PC or are a techie in anyway, you really don't go to Best Buy because the choices are limited and the prices are usually higher than you would have ordering online. It seems like they are mostly for electronics that are not specialized in any way. These days, they also are where you go for phones, appliances, e-bikes and anything remotely related to electronics, apparently. They have more stuff on their website than in their physical stores. However, the service is decent when I randomly go in there and I appreciate that. At the very least, I don't get the whole sexist "ignore me because I am female and couldn't possibly want a pc part" that I used to get at Fry's electronics, so kudos for that, Best Buy. In fact, I was there yesterday and couldn't find an emergency pc fan that would fit mine and the guys in that department, helpfully, directed me to a computer repair store very nearby that turned out to have the part I needed! I really appreciate when people are polite and helpful even when it doesn't get them any immediate business. So Best Buy, keep telling your people to do this, be polite and be helpful to everyone even if it means directing them elsewhere. So, I'll give them high stars today for being helpful even if I would typically give them lower stars for having run of the mill, over priced merch.

Customer Service is at an all time low. Nobody knows what they're talking about, or at least how to…read morecommunicate it with the customer. I used to be able to walk in, give my phone number, and a technician would apply my screen protector for me. Now they want ME to pick out which is the right one and take it to geek squad and pay for them to put it on. System completely changed and sucks now. Nobody wants to just take care of the customer anymore, and the job gets off handed to whoever the newest hire is. Best Buy is not going to succeed like this for long.

This kiosk, "Cases and Such" sells custom cases for cell phones of all makes and brands. A young man was standing out in front, and he engaged me by asking what type of phone case I was shopping for. He was very kind and polite, so I told him that I have an Iphone. He then informed me that the cases were on the other side for Iphones, and he then asked me what type of Iphone specifically that I owned. I told him that it was the 4G. He then said "The 4s?", and in again told him that it was the 4g, which is the iphone that was made before the 4s, followed by the 5. He said, "Oh, I got it. Yeah, they're the same size", and I was about to reply, when this other gentleman who worked there, butt into the conversation and told me that they are the same thing, and then asked: "So, what do you want?". Now, compared to the younger gentleman who was first helping me, this second person struck me as rude. I was just listening to him talk at me about cases, and handing me cases I didn't want. So, I told this person "I'm not interested in any of these styles or colors you're handing me. This other person was helping me, and I'm fine. But thank you though." I then went back to speaking with the younger person, and told him what I was looking for and asked if I could look at the ones on the rack. He then told me that was fine, and when I went to look again, the other person butt in again, and said: "Look, we have all these styles. Why don't you just tell me what you want?" I told him again that I just wanted to look at the different styles, because i didn't know what I wanted just yet, because I couldn't see them all. I then thanked him again, and said that the other person is still helping me. I then began talking to the other salesperson, telling him what I was looking for, when my friend called. I asked him to excuse me for a moment, and took the call. When I did this, the second sales person went to the younger person who was helping me and said: "Look, quit helping this LOSER here. He's not going to buy anything. I then got off the call, and pretended not to hear this person. I looked at the younger person and said "Hey, so you were about to show me this other case which looked cool. Which one was it again?" We then got to talking, and a friend came up to tell me that he was there at the mall, so I turned to him and said that I was looking at these phone cases here, when the other salesperson came up to the younger guy who was still helping me, and said: "I thought I told you to quit helping this stupid loser. He's not going to buy anything. Quit helping him, and go help the other people." I'm sure you can imagine what occurred from there. I turned to the gentleman who was referring to me as the "loser", and "stupid loser", and informed him that I heard what he was saying, and that he should be ashamed of himself for talking to customers and shoppers that way and that I heard every word. He wouldn't even look at me or acknowledge that I was talking to him. I assure you, I was talking loud enough for everyone within 50 yards to look over, because they could hear me speaking to him and pointing at him. The whole time, I was about 15 feet away, and never got close. I did not touch anything , or him. My friend and I then walked away. Do not shop here. It is not appropriate for a salesperson to be referring to shoppers who are shopping as losers, or stupid losers. Not okay.
