When my iPhone 13 Pro Max would not revert out of 3x zoom in portrait mode, despite doing all troubleshooting found online including two factory resets, I knew it was time for an upgrade. I feared stopping in a busy shopping center in the month of December would be a nightmare, but they helped very quickly for my online order placed at a different location as they didn't have the phone I wanted in stock. Very quick service and fantastic to get a phone case and screen protector; though after a week it is already cracked so I'll likely be stopping in this weekend since Zagg didn't have in stock online to replace with my lifetime warranty. Definitely a spacious store compared to others, and the service was great. If in the area and you are a Verizon customer, I would recommend this location. read more

Very dishonest sales tactics! We came in with our own devices to switch from at&t. We were told we would be paying $35 a month and that would include new phones for free so there was no need to transfer our old phones. Then we got our first bill, and are being charged over $55 per line due to us getting the phone upgrades, plus the salesman added other options we did not ask for. So a bill that was supposed be $120 is now $186. After spending over an hour on the phone with customer service, we now have to go back to the store to return the phones we didn't need, and pay a restocking fee to get the plan we asked for in the first place. They are just like used car salesmen that lie to get their commission no matter how it affects the customer. read more

Wow man, the one star reviews for this store are all valid. I just dealt with some burnout that seemed completely put off that I was asking questions and had no interest in being helpful or even acknowledging my existence. I did get the transfer pin that I was asking for, but the whole experience felt gross. It's frustrating as a long time paying customer to see businesses being run this way. If I could give a negative star review I would. I am currently on the phone with Verizon fraud for over an hour. I upgraded my son's phone for his birthday. He is at ASU and instead of shipping phone to CA - I selected the option for him to pick up at this store in AZ. I received notification late 11/6/2025 that it was ready for pickup. On 11/7/2025, I received an email that it was picked up. It was not picked up by my son. The email states I would need ID and credit card used to pick it up. However, someone was able to pick up the phone with neither of these items. Verizon is trying to call the store to ask questions and no one is answering. This was a huge error by this store and now Verizon is telling me I need to go to the store to find out what happened. This is NOT MY issue. I shouldn't have to waste a moment of my time with a store that doesn't answer their phone for their fraud department. Verizon needs to make this right. read more

Long time customer who came into the store to change plan, buy a phone and accessories. On this typical Sunday - so it seems- a lot of other people had similar thoughts so the line was really long. While nothing can be done about that, the crew at this store gave us approximate estimate for how long the wait will take. We came back and after more wait (ugh) David helped us out. The only reason this is a 5-star review is because David was polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. Everything you need for great service which is exactly what we got. While the wait was really long, David is a proof that only one person can make a difference and turn not great situation into great one. Thank you David! You get better service if you're a man, period. The overall vibe of this store is bro-y sneakerheads. I was added to the queue at 4:30PM with "one" person ahead of me. 30 minutes later the same rep who added me to the queue realized I must have been skipped because I got another text that I had been added to the queue with "one" person ahead of me. Never mind the fact that people who came after me were helped before me, or the fact that there seemed to be 3-4 reps in the back including the manager, Greg. I wasn't helped for another 15 minutes after that. When I was finally helped, I explained my frustration with the trade in process and that it had been the second time I was coming back to the store because Greg never gave me a submission ID when he printed the FedEx label to ship my phone to the warehouse. My phone has been sitting at the Verizon warehouse since 10/8/21 but they haven't started the trade in process. The rep, Pablo, did help me out and gave me a game plan the next time (probably the 4th time at this point) I call to get this sorted. He did spend about 20 minutes in the back, then another 10+ minutes to add the notes to my account in the back. I don't know why they have to go to the back and can't just do it with you on the floor? It seems when they go to the back that there is no sense of urgency and I could hear them laughing and goofing out. Bad customer service. I was literally there from 4:30PM to 6:15PM even though they close at 6PM. They started pulling the window covers down and locked me in lol. The only time more than one of the reps even spoke to me was as I was leaving lol. Just so over Verizon. 2 stars because the reps have tried to help me, once they ever got around to me. read more

This review is actually for the Verizon Roadside option offered by Signature Motor Club. It's fantastic. For like $7 a month maybe less you get free tows up to ten miles and it covers any vehicle you're in, not just a specific car. I highly recommend the Verizon Roadside App and Signature Motor Club service, and their network of independent tow drivers and roadside techs. Well... I'm not sure what happened here.. So I've been with Verizon since 1998. Originally Cellular one. Then Altell. Pretty good service. Awesome some network. From beginning to now. So I was due for an upgrade. I admit I'm a bit of a Luddite .. so we went. Tradin in. So most of the phones were already gone. They had one in Yellow (fine it's yellow blue or pink for me). Fine. Not the pro just normal. But.. something about waiting for the safe to open for manager to get said phone. (Ok maybe they've been hit w shoplifting gang before or something). Cool I got phone.. transferring data.. so our guy left.. he himself was great.. so finally data complete.. I wanna give them old phone (supposed to .. trade in). Oh manager left.. can .. ya got 45 days.. ok.. brought back next day.. ok no you have to FedEx it.. Really? Ok. It was just so bizarre.. Very odd experience. I have to say if it wasn't for the network and reliability... and I verified this was a corporate store. And my husband wanted to disconnect his old iPad and watch. After waiting for an hour there was other customers coming in to buy phones and they helped them out before helping me. This is the worst customer service I ever experienced. Dear Verizon Customer Service, I am writing this letter to express my deepest dissatisfaction with the services I received from one of your business associates, Connor. Recently, I came to your Verizon store to "maybe" switch from t mobile , but unfortunately, I was tended by Connor who treated me in an extremely unprofessional manner. He wasn't courteous, didn't take any time to listen to me, nor was he willing to help me. It felt as though he wasn't interested in helping me switch from t mobile to Verizon. This says a lot about the title he holds. This incident considerably frustrated me. However, I dealt with Cameron before Connor boy is he an asset to Verizon. Cameron demonstrated exceptional customer service, he was attentive, courteous, and patient throughout my visit. Cameron is an 100% an asset to your company, and it was lovely to have dealt with him. Regrettably, that one positive experience with Cameron was not enough to make me stay. Due to my current unpleasant experience with Connor, I am not pleased with Verizon's customer service. As a result, I will be sticking with T-mobile for their impressive customer service culture. Called waited for many​ minutes to get a live Rep named​ Jazi,whom I asked if she the authority to credit back to us, and said she would have to go through our bills with us, which we did, they included international charges we were objecting to. She had us on and off hold and the last thing she said is she now has to connect us to ​Supervisor because she didn't have authority to credit us with inadvertant International charges, and guess what, she disconnected the call. Never called back. We called back waited again, finally got Supervisor? Diane who said she really wasn't sure that we were hung up on. OmG, we are at their Mercy, she hung up on me when I said what are we suppose to do, just be pushed around like this with our time being used up. If I could give Verizon no stars I would've! Verizon and their sales team at Tempe marketplace Is the worst. My sister and I got an email saying that they would pay off the remaining amount owed on our phones and we could upgrade to the iPhone 14 from the 12 pro max. We get there and the rep tells us that they send everyone that promotion and we don't qualify. Then the rep that was helping us, Gavin, told me that I could upgrade to the 14 pro max, if I paid off my phone ($276). After I paid the remaining balance, Gavin then said sorry, you still cant upgrade. Gavin con me to paying the rest of the balance, even though I had the rest of the year to pay for it, just for commission. Gavin told me that he could not refund the payment and he would get his manager (Jared). Jared came and said the same thing. He wasn't even trying to help, made the situation worst. I have had this same phone from Verizon for 2 years. We are looking to switch to a better phone company that cares about their customer and not trying to con them for a commission. I will share this experience with everyone I know on all my social media's. If you absolutely have to stay with Verizon, do not go to the one in Tempe Marketplace! read more

I have been with Verizon for 30+ years. Bought the 11 ProMax and could not resolve some issues, so was told to go get a replacement phone. When I was in there, by this point I was on day 8 of trying to fix it...yes, a "bit frustrated"....Long story short, some massive woman and her nasty girlfriend walked up to me and told me I was too loud and she was "offended". Well, who asked her? She really thought she was scaring me by getting in my face and screaming all the way out the door. Literally, the POS "manager", MATTHEW, with hands on hips, trying to look intimidating ) told me I had to leave the store, he was going to call the "mall cops"...seriously?!? Even the guy who was helping me was looking completely embarrassed....and another customer who saw the whole thing offered to help me find another location. I drove to the Frank Lloyd Wright store and received the BEST service!!!! CHRISTIAN is AWESOME!!!!! I will NEVER go to the Tempe location again. I'm sorry I bought my phone there! MATTHEW embarrassed himself, his employee AND another customer. MATTHEW needs to learn how to act like a professional and not a wimpy excuse of a "bouncer!" Had we known the truth upfront we would never have switched. Not truthful at all, we went in on August 7th, 2023, to see what pricing would be for two phones. We got suckered into a higher bill than we wanted. 1. Rex never disclosed that NFL Sunday Ticket required a credit card to be placed on file, it was to be free, yet it requires credit card. 2. Rex and another employee stated that we would get our first bill in 30 days (September 7th, 2023), instead 2 days later we get a bill for over $300 due on August 25th, 2023, 18 days later, not 30 days as stated by Rex. That bill was more than what we paid at AT&T. Rex told us our bill would be $170. 3. Rex never disclosed that our military discount would take up to 90 days to reflect on our account. 4. Rex never disclosed that auto pay would be effective immediately. 5. Rex never disclosed that the so-called insurance would be $35 per phone, an additional $70 every month. 6. Rex told us that by trading in our old phones we would end up with $1200 credit, * were notified only one phone was being processed for $400* by Verizon yet tracking shows they received both. I am now stuck with a bill that is doubled what I was paying for previously with the same plan I had at AT&T. REX WAS NOT TRUTHFUL in anything he said to us. This IS THE worst customer service experiences I've ever had. Got here at at 1 PM and ask to get help and was told to come back in 45 minutes because there were appointments ahead of us, totally fine. We returned 45 minutes later and waited another hour before anyone came up to us. Once we started to receive help, our associate then disappeared for 45 minutes in the back with no warning. We had already paid for the phone and had just been sitting waiting. We asked the Manager to have someone help us in which he never sent anyone our way. No one checked on us. On our third hour here, the Manager (Dillon) had many encounters with people checking them in and responded rudely to each. He had a smart tone with people who needed help and asked valid questions. All associates would interrupt the manager each time they needed something which in turn slowed down every other employee. At one point there 10 people on the store floor and not one employee was helping anyone. I recommend you save your Sunday because you will spend the entire time here open to close. read more

As I sit here in the lobby doing all the work myself and contacting apple I can honestly say this place has the worst customer service ever. Black tall guy with braids had horrible customer service and his breath would make a train take a dirt road. Asked to speak specifically to the manager and the manager never came out. Just sent his sales associate back to tell me there is nothing they can do. Purchased a 100 case less then a year ago and they didn't even offer to replace it with something else on the shelf. I had to go find a case myself and the sales associate just took and put it back on the shelf. I swear the new phones are out and they don't want to even deal with customers thAt have other issues they just want to sell new phones. I won't be back.
