The representative Abdul was loud, hostile, rude, and completely unprofessional. He spoke down to me, talked over me, and actually told me to "shut up" and to "mind my business." That is aggressive, abusive behavior, not customer service!!! What makes this even worse is the clear attitude that because this store is in a low-income neighborhood, customers don't deserve respect or basic decency. As if people here should just accept being talked to any kind of way and "lay down and take it." That mindset is disgusting and deeply insulting to the community this store supposedly serves. His behavior was nasty, condescending, and embarrassing to witness. No professionalism, no accountability, no respect. Someone like this should never be placed in a customer-facing role. If Metro allows employees to treat customers like this especially in communities they already profit from, then management needs to take a hard look at who they're hiring and what standards they're willing to ignore. I was told to "shut up," and there were only two people present at the time. I don't make statements lightly, and I stand on what I said. ( I attempted to disengage, but he continued. I agreed with him simply to end the interaction, not because I was being confrontational. I remained respectful throughout and even offered to pay the remaining balance the young boy was short on. So where was I rude. I'm big on respect so I don't walk around with a chip on my shoulder being rude just because. It's enough going on in the world today. So respectfully Miss Tamika J I know what was said to me. And truth be told this is the second interaction I had with this representative at this location. The first time I let it slide. Not because Peter had a tough client but how he handled the client and was able to protect his energy and the energy of the whole store was lighter when the "tough client" left. Buyer beware. I went into this store to port my phone number to Metro service and take advantage of…read morethe iPhone 16e promotion. I was sold a counterfeit iPhone (to be fair it was a beautiful nearly precise device) but I noticed some quirks with the software right away. Not only that but apparently the eSIM downloaded to the phone was not the same as the ones they seem to provide everyone else. I deleted my eSIM once when I was out of town and thought I'd be able to get it easily installed at any Metro by T-Mobile, but that was not the case. I was told by the representative that my device was showing up as incompatible with Metro by T-Mobile service and that I would have to go back to the store of origin in order to get my eSIM reinstalled. Now, months later, I no longer have the iPhone 16e but saved most of my data from the device. I purchased a refurbished iPhone 11 from GSM Club via bestbuy.com and somehow, magically and for no legitimate or logical reason the SEID identically matches that of the 16e from this location. Granted, I'm not any person and have been targeted by various criminal organizations for various reasons so this may not happen to you....but it could.
