I ordered a phone on T mobile's website to pick up at this store. i was so excited about my upgrade. i couldn't wait to play with my new phone. i was on my way to the store when I received notice that mu order was canceled. i immediately called the store and inquired why the order was canceled. The manager told me that my order timed out. I said that was impossible because the website stated I had until Sunday to pick up the order. He said that the order was made in the store. i said that was incorrect. I placed the order at 5:30pm on the website. He kept insisting that it was placed in store. Came to store to deliver the phone I was trading in for one purchased online from t mobile. Person who first served me unbelievably unhelpful. Said I could not trade in at their store. I went to the T-Mobile store in El Cerrito Calif. The two young woman there were from the minute we walked in totally rude. They kept looking at each other and rolling their eyes for some reason. I was with my daughter who happens to have tattoos on her arms and face. She is a beautiful woman . These two woman were so obvious about whatever crappy feelings they were having about us. I stood up and told the woman that I would not be buying my phone from her because she was rude . She looked at me like I was a piece of crap and that threw me over the edge and I threw a bunch of bad words at her and left . I brought in my new Alcatel flip phone so I would be able to use it since I got it in a box from Amazon and SARA knew how to exactly set it up with no drama. T-Mobile 2030 El Cerrito Plaza If I could give a business -5 stars, it would be this store. I've never been treated more rudely in a retail establishment. Salesman was dismissive was unable to find my records (of which there was two hours of notes from previous contact.) Following that, he walked off, saying there's nothing he could do. I asked for the supervisor the supervisor did not come talk to me just told the representative that there's nothing he can do. I was not going to accept that result, and called the t-Mobile corporate, and they found all my notes and straightened it out. While I sat in the store, and all the employees were doing nothing. To top this off, I am disabled there was no entrance for disabled. It was locked, and they refused to open it for me. If you're going to buy anything retail do not go to the store, these people don't care about their jobs, and definitely don't care about you! I will be calling corporate and registering a complaint against the manager and the employee ASAP. Buyers beware! read more

My child and I had such a great experience adding his first phone and line to our account here. We arrived when they opened on a Friday morning and were greeted warmly and the T-Mobile team jumped right in to identify our needs and set us up. They explained the pricing for activation and did the process with complete professionalism. The store is neat, clean and organized. As my 11 year old pointed out, we spent less than 15 minutes total with this process because of T-Mobile's expertise. We've come to this location for several years and our experience this time was exceptional. Definitely recommend this store for the customer service experience! read more

I had a wonderful experience at the T-Mobile store in El Cerrito Plaza. My husband and I switched from our previous mobile plan to T-Mobile. Rosa was patient and helped us call out previous carrier and acquire the proper information. She set up both our phones, changed our SIM cards, and fixed a glitch that arose. She tested to make sure we were connected and encouraged us to get the App for Tuesday promotional. Everything was explained thoroughly. If you want an A+ customer service experience have Rosa help you. She is an excellent employee and deserves to be commended! read more

Dirty long nails Shelby, the MANAGER, lost it and walked away from helping us. No patience as a customer service representative. The merger has been horrible but the customer service makes its 10x worse. She stated she couldn't help but asked for my ID anddd SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER to research my account notes, scold us, and simply restate account notes as if the notes hadn't already been explained. I was on the phone with SPRINT/TMOBILE customer service WHO SENT me to that store specifically for help in-person WITH the phone rep from their company trying to explain and miss ole FUPA manager Shelly was incompetent and no help. She also talks to her employees like 2nd class citizens. As a senior leader myself - COMPANY CULTURE IS TO NEVERRRRRR SCOLD employees in the presence of the population they serve. Utterly disgusting Shelly and you should be ashamed. Just because Tmobile pays you $0.75 more doesn't entitle you to belittling other employee. She's a SAD EXCUSE for an employee. If i could give minus 5 star i would ! this store has the rudest employee by the name of Criag who is also a liar !!! went there to buy Iphone 14 Pro and he said i should get the apple watch with it since its absolutely free ! although i already had an apple watch but since he said it was absolutely free i might as well get it. Only after everything was ready i pulled out my card to pay for the phone i was told that i had to pay $60 tax for the watch n then on top of that i also had to pay $10 monthly for 24 months for an extended line for the free watch ! despite not wanting the watch i agreed to get it over with. a week after that i was informed its was gonna be $12.50 a month.. i go back to confront the employee but he was not working and another employee informed me that i have nothing to worry about as 12.50 is regular price n i got it on some promo so i will only be charged $10 a month.. but now a month after I just got charged not 10 not 12.50 but $15 !!! went back to confront the employee who sold me the phone n the watch and he now lies straight to my face !!! says he told me it was gonna be $15 a month !!! smh read more
