The gentleman who helped me was the best. I was terribly frustrated because my phone went kaflooey…read moreon me. The screen froze, so I couldn't phone, text, email, or do anything else that's important to me. I spent hours trying to unfreeze the phone. He asked what the problem was, and he fixed it in less than a minute. COMPUPOD is now my go to place before I start pulling my hair out. I'll also make it my go to place when it's time to replace my phone. Thank you so much for your fine service. ,

I've been coming here for about a year to service my PS5 and controllers, and up until recently,…read moreI've had positive experiences. The staff is usually helpful, and turnaround times are pretty quick. However, my last experience was really disappointing. I brought in my DualSense controllers to fix analog stick issues and paid $100 to repair three knobs. Just one week later, I had the exact same issue with one of the supposedly repaired sticks. When I brought it back, I was charged an additional $60 to fix what should have already been resolved. What's most frustrating is that I couldn't get a clear explanation as to why I was being charged again for the same issue. If a repair doesn't hold up after a week, that should fall under some kind of workmanship guarantee--not an additional charge. I want to continue supporting this business because I've had good experiences in the past, but this situation felt unfair and left me questioning the quality and accountability of the repairs.

One of the worst customer experiences I've had in years. I needed to complete a purchase started…read moreonline, was told to "pay in a Verizon store". Maybe I CAN'T do this in the store, but from the moment I walked in the guy was uninterested and dismissive, and made zero effort to understand or explain or help in any way. Maybe he couldn't actually help me. Maybe the instructions I had FROM VERIZON were wrong. But I simply couldn't tell he wasn't just lying to me. I walked out. Adding an extra star because the ONLINE experience was great. But the Daniel Burnham (at Van Ness) location? Ugh.

Be very careful with this company and don't trust what their representatives tell you. Here is my…read morestory. A month ago, my friend told me he wanted to switch from AT&T to T-Mobile because they offered him better terms and a free phone. I've been a Verizon customer for almost 3 years, and I told my friend that I could ask what Verizon could offer him and possibly add him to my family plan so we could all save money, since the more lines you have, the bigger the discount. I called Verizon, and the representative assured me that Verizon could match those terms (a free phone if my friend switched from AT&T). We received the phone, and a month later it turned out that it wasn't free. I called Verizon 10 times, and each time they assured me they would make it free, but nothing happened. Today, I asked to speak with a manager, and the manager told me he couldn't do anything and that the phone would not be free. I said that in that case I don't need the phone and that I had been deceived. The second situation: about a month ago my home internet device broke, and I went to this Verizon store to exchange it, but they closed my old line and opened a new one (I didn't know about this and didn't ask for it). Because of that, I lost my legacy (grandfathered) price and my loyalty discount. The manager wasn't very helpful here either, as he said he couldn't restore my previous terms. Please be extremely cautious with this company. Now we are looking to switch to T-Mobile because they treat their customers better and keep their promises.
