( only thing I currently have with them) successfully done and told I could either return the equipment in person at this store, or any ups store. I like to physically hand this kind of thing over when possible. So now I'm here trying to drop it off and they're on the phone with corporate because it's saying I can drop off the base unit, but need to ship the extender in a different way. We're approaching 30 minutes in and still trying to figure it out. This is crazy.. next time( if there ever is) it's drop off at ups store and so long... jeez.

Worst mistake of my life!…read more In June 2023, I was approached at my home by an AT&T rep named Makayla stating that they were doing a promotion in my neighborhood and said the first 2 months would be free. I signed up and the install went fine. Fast forward to the end of the month, and I received a bill. I called but was told that the rep didn't have the authority to offer me that. I asked to cancel service. Fast forward to the next month, I received another bill. The service wasn't cancelled and I was charged again (keep in mind I wasn't using the service at all). I called again and informed them to cancel service and I would not be paying for either month. They would need to take up the issue with the rep that came to my house. I was able to reach out to that rep, she said she didn't work for AT&T anymore and to contact her previous supervisor. After multiple attempts, I can't get a call back. 2 years later, I'm still dealing with this issue with collections. You couldn't pay me to use this company. They scammed me into signing up and are now demanding money. They do not value customers at all.

Phone support told me I needed to take it to an AT&T store to get it fixed. I went to the Hiram AT&T store and the rep there immediately told me she could not help. She said that with a loud and disrespectable attitude. She said they are not trained on that APP and I needed to take it to the Best Buy Store/Geek Squad down the street. That APP is a GOOGLE APP and maybe they can help. I replied, this is an ATT phone, I bought from ATT and the App is provided on the phone by ATT and ATT should support it. She again, with a loud voice said, "take it to the Geek Squad". Then another person came over and told me the same thing, with a loud voice. She said she was the manager. I walked out of the store. After thinking about how I was treated, I went back in and asked for their names. They refused to give them to me, asking why I wanted them. I told them I wanted to escalate this. The person who said who said she was the manager again then asked, "who are you going to escalate to?". I did not answer. I asked for her name again. She said just "just say I am the manager on duty". I said, I have been an AT&T/Cingular/Bellsouth customer for 50+ years, maybe I should now change to Verizon. She said "go ahead". That statement tells me she does not care about customers. Folks, this is a prime example of where customer service has gone today. Like Clark Howard calls it, "customer no-service". By the way, I am still searching to find the area AT&T VP for this area. I know there is one because I had to use one for another issue in another area a year ago.

I guess that's why they do that or they just don't care. I used to love Best Buy. I'd go over there for appliances and TVs for audio equipment for computers and I knew I was spending more than I wouldn't say Amazon, but it didn't matter cause it was a cool experience to go into the store, I would say the management of this retailer is about a stale as their stores are looking inside. I took my phone back and when he opened my phone he saw that soda or some liquid had spilled and was all over the inside of my phone and screen. He scrubbed and cleaned the inside of my phone and replaced the screen again for no charge.
