On Sunday, Jan 11, I went to the AT&T store in Hiram, Georgia and the customer service female rep helped me remove viruses from my cell phone after AT&T changed my services - WITHOUT MY CONSENT. However, one of my major apps was missing subsequent to the service-change. The AT&T rep referred me to their repair source located at - uBreakiFix, 5739 Wendy Bagwell Pkwy. #105, Hiram, GA 30141. The female rep at uBreakiFix instructed me to bring my cell phone back on Monday, Jan 12th, with my lap-top in order for the app to be re-installed. When I arrived at the uBreakiFix establishment on Monday in Hiram, Georgia, the female REFUSED to wait on me properly and NEVER made eye-contact with me. She seemed to have a medical mental defect. What is worse, she stated that both technicians were present in the back of the store; but both refused to come out to talk to me in order to inquire as to what type of service I needed. As a matter of record, both techinicians stayed in the back room and I could hear them whispering about me. The female employee at uBreakiFix in Hiram, Georgia finally emerged from the back room and told me that both technicians were too busy and told me to leave my cell phone and lap-top at the store. The uneasy feeling that I had, at that point, prompted me to leave the store IMMEDIATELY and post a warning about the slips-shoddy and EXTREMELY unprofessional service that uBreakiFix in Hiram, Georgia seem to be rendering people who ask for service. DO NOT GO IN THAT STORE - DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR EQUIPMENT. When I went back to the AT&T store in Hiram, Georgia on Monday to warn them about the negative type of service I had JUST received at their repair out-source company - uBreakiFix in Hiram, Georgia, I was verbally attacked by a female representative at the AT&T store and she blurted out loud and accused me of looking for free service! She kept raising voice so loud, that I had to correct her about her FALSE assumption and also request that she stop screaming and talk more intelligently. The AT&T store in Hiram, Georgia - depending on who waits on you - is ALSO NOT A GOOD PLACE TO GET SERVICE. MOST of their employees seem to be inept when it comes to decent customer service and VERY, VERY unknowledgeable concerning the devices that they sell. One thing I was not happy about, and I'm not sure how they did it. I requested 2 screens replaced at the same time. One was for my daughter, who is amazing at breaking things and the other for my phone. My phone's swipe up ability gave out. It sucks but I get it. It's like anything. As it ages things give out. Well, they replaced it and it's fine. I really appreciated it since I have things which will probably end up in court some day. The iPad I was less pleased with. They did a backup to the cloud. When I got it back it had all of my iPhone photos on it, but I have intentionally not backed up my iPad. My daughter uses it, so I didn't want to change anything on it. I mean let's be realistic. The high schoolers who do the work only do as instructed. They did a great job replacing screens. read more

Highly recommend a visit here if you have a broken phone issue ... Mom had a battery issue (or so we thought) so we stopped by UBIF. One person in store ... good social distancing guidelines, plastic shields etc for safe covid shopping ... The gentleman behind the counter was pleasant, took Mom's phone to test it out and after a few minute wait came back with an honest answer ... the phone itself was having "brain" issues and a battery would not really help much. Now he could have easily taken Mom's $ and put in a new battery but we felt like he was really trying to help us/her and that is much appreciated. We ended up heading to the Apple store to get a new phone - but really want to let others know we had a great experience, and offer up 5*'s for the great customer service, and honest approach. read more

We brought in our son's PS5 to get fixed because the HDMI port was not working properly. The console was turning on & was able to charge the controller, however the screen was blank. We were advised after they had looked at the console, that the switchboard was blown out, the console was not actually turning on at all, it wasn't repairable and our only option was to get a brand new console. So I picked the console up and brought it elsewhere for a second look. The second place confirmed my suspicions. If the switchboard was blown out the console would not turn on at all, but it was turning on for us when we dropped it off so UBreakIFix either did a poor job if they did anything at all besides causing more damage. We've never had an issue before and I've always trusted them however whatever new technician they have back there has no integrity. They had me pay for services that were never provided. I hate to have to write this review but others should know that this place isn't what it use to be. If you bring something in and they tell you it cannot be fixed please elsewhere for a second opinion as their word can no longer be trusted. read more

I never knew this store was here until I searched on Yelp! My husband has needed a new battery in his iPhone for sometime, but we kept putting it off with Covid & not knowing if they had the battery he needed. Well I was greeted by Rachel, who was very helpful. She took care of all of the preliminaries and told me to come back in two hours to pick it up. In less than two hours, I received a text saying it was all finished. Billy & Rayshon did a great job replacing the battery & it works great! read more

I gave the shop a call first to make sure they have time to see me today. They were able to start working on Nintendo right away. Do not come here. Wish I could give a 0 rating. They tried to scam me and charge me 220 dollars for a broken button on my laptop. Then he told me he could fix it for 220 dollars if I bought the monthly insurance for 25 dollars a month. Caught him off guard by asking, "I thought you just said the original piece was 220." Then he stuttered and said he meant 125. Honestly, this should cost only 50 dollars. Walked out of there so fast and will never go back. read more

My iPhone 7 Plus was not charging anymore. I looked up UbreakIFix on yelp and read the reviews end. I asked them a question online and they gave me a quote and said they could take a look at it. So I went in and Rachel helped me out. She took a look at the phone and said all needed was to have the charging port area cleaned. She did this for no charge. Her customer service was outstanding! They get the job done quickly and they have good customer service they are very helpful. That's not the issue though. They replaced my phone battery and within a month the battery was already deteriorating rapidly! Just today they repaired my iPad screen, and touch response is great! THEY BROKE MY TOUCH ID! I can no longer use my Touch ID. When it comes to Apple screen replacement you must use Apple certified products or your Touch ID will not work! So the fact that it doesn't work means they are saying they use genuine parts when they are not! I'm disappointed cause I payed them to fix my screen, not break my Touch ID. read more

I visited this location on 07/03 for a laptop screen repair. I was surprised when I was asked for the password, since it was just the screen, but I provided the information as requested. On 07/06 I begin receiving email alerts and notifications that accounts that I hadn't applied for were being opened. The timing is incredibly suspicious and two months later, I am still dealing with the hassle of police reports, credit freezes and the overall paranoia of being exposed. Maybe I shouldn't have trusted the store to safeguard my information and that a screen repair maybe didn't require a password. However, the timing of the dropping off my laptop and the almost immediate fraudulent account activity or assumed coincidental. The screen works great, and the staff was pleasant enough. The repair was just not worth extra time I am putting in now to make sure my information protected. If you use them, please safeguard your information. read more
