I'm a new T-Mobile customer who switched over from Verizon in early November. My service with Verizon got suspended with zero notice (coz that's what happens when you're a mature, responsible adult in your 30s and fighting with your parents who still pay your cell phone bill). So I went to T-mobile with the goal of getting a new number and a newer iPhone, coz my 8+ has about HAD IT with me! "I'm sorry for dropping you so many times" *gently strokes cracked screen and gets glass stuck in my finger* "Dammit!" However, my lack of techknowledgey (Ha! You like what I did there?) and subsequent indecision got the upper hand in that situation; I couldn't really decide which iPhone I wanted and - although Jo was nice and pleasant to speak with - unfortunately, he couldn't really answer some of my questions and didn't provide much info about the differences in features or even really try to sell me on any of the iPhones, so I finally said I just wanted to do more research at home. He told me I had x days to decide if I'd like to get a new phone via some kind of deal with a bill credit applied over 24 months... or something? So. Last night, I went to another T-Mobile location since we were in the area, and 2 employees told me conflicting information; one employee said I had 14 days to get a new phone with that deal and the other said, "I'm pretty sure it's 30." After a little back and forth between the two of them, with one employee confirming details online, both of them eventually said they can't help me, so I would need to call 611 and have customer care complete the order for my new phone. Wait, what? So nobody in the actual store can help me?? After I left the store, I called 611 on my uncle's phone, waited on hold for almost 40 min and followed the silly tele-prompts to "guess this song!" (to distract me from the crushing realization that many minutes of my precious life are just ticking away on this call) before hanging up in frustration. I called again later and waited on hold for almost an hour before I finally hung up. I couldn't get ahold of anybody to help me get a new iPhone and I still really want one!! My experience with that T-Mobile location was super frustrating and annoying, and my experience with this location on 119th was better but I really wish Jo would have tried just a little to sell me a newer iPhone. It wouldn't have been difficult, and I'm sure he could have easily talked me into getting a new phone, and probably a more expensive one than I would have originally wanted. Perhaps there wasn't much incentive for him? Unfortunately, my experience overall as a new T-Mobile customer has been fairly disappointing thus far. I might call 611 again today to find out if there's SOME way I can get a new iPhone! read more

I came in to get my screen replaced today. We had an amazing experience like usual. CJ helped us and was very helpful and relatable. He was very quick with the replacement and even helped answer all of our extra questions. I would definitely recommend the screen protector plan they have, it's such a good deal for anyone who cracks their phone a lot. read more

I've had a cell phone since 1982, so that makes me the great grand pappy of cell phone users. I've seen so many changes throughout the years that younger people cannot fathom. This being said, for once I was dreading buying a new phone. I've had an iPhone 4S for almost 13 years and only lately did it start to seem challenged. Android users can never fully understand the love that Apple users have for their phone, it's like a member of the family. When you go to replace one, you feel like you're cheating on it. I spent a lot of time researching my next move , as I tend keep things for a long while. I also don't want to pay too much because, as a long time sales manager, it's the principal of the matter. I first tried Costco once I had made my decision, but the guy at the Lenexa location seemed disinterested in getting me handled. His personality left a lot to be desired and he talked like the Sham Wow guy. I left and decided I'd try the T-Mobile store at Johnson Drive and Antioch, but those guys seemed to not know much about product or plans. I worked my way south and stopped back at Costco(I'm a loyal customer. Sham Wow guy said his system was down. I asked him, this being the last day of the promotion, if he could lock me in and we'd do it the next day. Nope, no can doozy. I left the store and as I walked to my car, I thought I would try the store at 119th and Black Bob. I called and the manager said she had an open time, so I hauled ass down there and she assigned me to Liz Nguyen. Liz walked me through the process, answered all of my questions perfectly, gave me some great tips about the phone that my research had missed, and delivered a pitch perfect product presentation. Not many of her generation have the customer service skills that people of my generation have come to expect and her salesmanship was superb. If I was a competitor, I would steal her away from T-Mobile, it's what I'm known for. Thank you for rising above my expectations! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was a T-Mobile customer since cell phones were first invented, I had T-Mobile before it was T-Mobile. Recently I switched to MintMobile and got a bill from T-Mobile for a Cell Spot that I no longer have and is 10 years old. you can literally buy this thing on the internet, same exact thing for 20.00. They won't budge on this or come down on the price that surely has depreciated in 10 years. I even offered to send a 20.00 replacement but no it doesn't have the same serial number. Every since T-Mobile took over Sprint, my service has gone downhill like a ski slope. When I had Sprint, I had a hotspot at the farm that could provide Wi-Fi for the entire farm including streaming after T-Mobile buy sprint. They force me to change hotspot devices. I have literally spent over 50 hours on the phone with them trying to resolve my issues. You never talk to anybody who is stateside. It's junk they won't fix it or replace it and they won't fix the problem. They even tried to slip in without my knowledge or consent, a change to my 200 GB data plan down to 50 GB data plan without any price reduction but I caught them. T-Mobile is a horrible, horrible, horrible company. I guess my next step is to file a complaint with the FCC. read more

We have been T-Mobile customers for well over 10 years. Their service is well above average and their customer service is far better than other competitors on the market. I hope they don't lose their quality service with the Sprint merger. I used to have Sprint, and although their coverage and sound quality were both superior, their customer service and their billing were miserable experiences. I finally dropped them due to all of the problems, and I surely hope we don't have to go back down the same road. Here is for hoping all the T-Mobile upper management stays in place and they toss Sprint's out the door. We don't typically buy phones from T-Mobile. Instead, we buy unlocked phones from another merchant to save money and then take them to this location to make the transfer. The employees are knowledgable, helpful, and friendly, although I would recommend going during the day if you don't want to wait forever. read more

this company doesn't even deserve one star. I've had my T-Mobile account for over five years. Been a faithful customer paid my bills on time even purchase the insurance in case something happened to my phone. So something has happened to my phone and I've spent three hours this evening, which doesn't include the time I spent at the T-Mobile store when it happened to try and get a claim to have my phone fixed. I have spoken to T-Mobile personally at least four times and then the issue would be resolved and they put me over to the insurance company four times and here I am it's still not fixed and it is gotten so bad that I told him I wish to cancel the service and I hung up the phone. They called me back kept me on the phone for 15 minutes saying that they wanted me to talk to one of their supervisors and when the supervisor got on the phone they hung up on me without saying a word I will be returning the broken phone to T-Mobile and canceling the account and will go with one of their competitors. I will be turning T-Mobile into the BBB for their total lack of service. read more

Had bought pre-paid service for my 82 yr old mother. Now T Mobile has problems with the tower servicing the area for the past 10 days & said they may have it fixed in another 14 days. So my mom in a nursing hone has no way to communicate with family. VERY poor service read more

Was just in today to switch from Verizon to TMobile/Sprint. Have to say it was day 1 of the start of TMobile as the primary. Luckily I was paired up with Quincy (previous Sprint) and Cody (previous TMobile). They are in the middle of merging two companies and integrating systems which if you've been through that before in business is a complete mess. However having both of their expertise with the previous systems the switch of 5 phones was a breeze. Saved me a lot of money and we've had nothing but issues for the last 6 months of Verizon coverage. Hoping Sprint/TMobile with be an improvement. I recently switched from Sprint to T-Mobile (03-29-21) and I made that decision off of a flyer that I received in the mail from T-Mobile. The phone number on the advertisement goes to the Philippines. The guy named Darth just flat out lied to me. He switched all 3 of my phones and did NOT verify that their compatibility with their net work. I spent days (4 to 5 hours) a day trying to get this fixed through their customer service people and it has just been a nightmare. They switch you all over and drop the calls after being on hold for hours and you have to start all over with your problem every time you get a new person. I have begged them for a connection to someone in the USA, but they refused to send me. They claim they are as well trained as anyone in the USA. Well, obviously not. Here it is 04-10-21 and I still do not have any use of my 3 cell phones. They are LGV30+ phones. So I go to the store in Olathe and they are absolutely NO HELP and not very professional in there. I was told by Raul and Kevin that this was my fault because I called the 888 number listed on their flyer. They said that they have nothing to do with the people there, it is a completely different sales force with different rules. WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSE TO MEAN??? Do they not ALL represent T-Mobile. So, I left the store with nothing. What a terrible thing to happen, now I am forced to buy new cell phones and no one cares in that company that they created this situation. I rarely review things like this but I decided that I was going to PRE-WARN everyone that T-Mobile is a terrible company to do business with. They could give me free phones right now and I would NOT keep their company. Now they did manage to send me a bill for usage I NEVER USED and Raul said that I would have to call the 888 number for help with that. They can not help me with any billing issues. WHAT DO THEY DO THERE, JUST SELL PHONES??? By the way, the bill sent to me IS NOT what they told me when I signed up. The 55+ plan is a supposed to be 27.50 per mo and 20.00 per phone to activate and 10.00 per phone for sim cards. I had to pay the 60.00 up front to the Philippines and Darth told me that it included all taxes and that 3 phones would be 104.00 per month and the invoice is for 120.00, so that too was a lie. They would pay my Netflex account so to cancel it, which thank goodness I did not. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF ALL THE AGONY AND STRESS AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH T-MOBILE, THEY ABSOLUTELY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL. read more

I've been a customer for T-Mobile for many years now and today was a sad day in T-Mobile customer history. I walked in and stood their waiting for someone to help. Three reps were busy one was tapping his fingers and looking around. No one asked if I need help. Five minutes pass, another family comes in and they get ask for assistance and the next customer after that was asked for help. I stayed for another few minutes and still no one asked what I need help with. So I left, but came back later and still got the same bad service. Tired of the high priced plans of Verizon, I decided to make the switch to T-Mobile after hearing good things about them from some friends and coworkers. I had a really good experience at this store. Chris made the transition easy. He explained all the options available to me, and answered all of my questions. I walked out with my new phone and a lower priced unlimited plan. Plus, they paid off the phone I had through Verizon. I also had added benefits that I didn't have before, like Apple Care and their T-Mobile Tuesday's app. You can win cool stuff every week, as well as getting some good offers on different things. I haven't noticed any change in cell coverage, so I'm happy with the switch I made. If you're looking to switch over to T-Mobile, this is a good store to do it at. read more

They generally have items in stock, in the colors we want, and are quite patient about explaining stuff to the Guy, who isn't particularly tech-savvy. I have been a loyal T-Mobile user for nearly 10 years. In that time I have learned the best service from the organization comes from their retention department (tell the 611 robot you want them, they are amazing). Then again, they lack a physical presence and sometimes you need to speak with a person face to face. When that need arises, this store is probably the best in the metro. The design is sleek, modern and inviting. They typically have a good stock of phones and recently were the first to receive the Nexus 4 in the area. Most importantly, the employees are attentive, well mannered and knowledgeable. Overall, this store seems to be the best option in the area for existing subscribers and curious shoppers alike. read more

Horrible experience with one of the sales guys here. Went in the store for service on my account and the guy, Kyle, was so rude and wouldn't let me finish talking before he started telling me what I should have done. I ended up going to another TMobile store in the area and they were able to resolve everything. If you want customers to buy from you, you should be willing to service their accounts too. It seemed like that since I wasn't buying something, I was wasting his time. read more
