A bunch of kids acting like you're a bother. I went to go pick up a replacement phone because my phone would only connect to Wifi. It would at times connect to a mobile network, but it never worked properly for long. The associate is rude (because i'm writing this in the middle of our transaction). Won't make eye contact, and is very short with questions, and replies. He didn't explain anything and just assumed I wanted him to transfer info from one phone to another, which I didn't. He goes through the process of connecting my service and then transferring my content without asking, just to say it'll be 4 hours. He didn't explain anything and i just stood there watching him click buttons and drag my new phones camera lens along the countertop. Which is another thing that annoyed me. He kept dropping my new phone out of the box onto the countertop and dragging the lens around as he picked it up and put it down. I even moved it from the table and placed it on top of my case, just for him to take it off start dragging it around again. I'm already having a terrible day and then this kid wants to be a jerk. Now I have to wait 4 hours for every video in my phone to transfer, when I could've told him I didn't need them or want them on the new phone. His manager I guess chimed in when I told him I didn't need him to do it, it was already too late, and he came in well after we started the transaction, and came off as just as rude. They seem to not want me to get ahold of my old phone as if i'm going to take it. I've already had a long drawn-out time with t-mobile just trying to get a new phone. I guess it's only right that these clowns be the final battle. We tried to just get them to ship it to our home, and have us return the old phone like we have in the past, but the agent didn't give us the option, and said it was too late when we brought it up. So now i'm stuck with this goofy kid Gio that has an unnecessary attitude, and I have to go back by closing to get my phone, when i could've gotten that transfer time under 20 minutes had he made any effort at offering even a little customer service. After going back to pick up my new phone it was more of the same. I don't know what this kids problem is but he's definitely not the first person you want interacting with your customers. He asked me to unlock my old phone so that he could delete it, so I unlocked it and factory reset it. He seemed irritated, but it's not like I was going to unlock it and leave him with access to all my information. This is exactly why I left t mobile for sprint all those years back, I hate the fact that I'm right back with t mobile again. On Feb 2nd, I walked in just to see if the line I already have on my account that I keep suspended could be added to my iPad, in which I already own. Brett messed my lines up by suspending one that was active then restoring it and activating the line that was suspended it and re-suspending it. While he was doing all of this, he began talking about his s/o and child and was able to finesse me to give him my ID. His venting session went on for about 30 minutes. I was under the impression that he was still just restoring my lines that should have never been touched. however he was adding a tablet as well as a brand new line. I remember him asking me if I wanted a free tablet and me telling him no because I already have a hotspot and iPad, just wanted to use my unused line. I did not realize til April. When trying to have the problem rectified on his end. He told Rachel to comp me $30, however she only added $10 while I was charged $31 plus tax for his recklessness. He then went on to call the police on me, during a second visit in which Gio told me the day before his hours were 10-4. But he was still there after 4(which is when I arrived to avoid him), and lying about not having the document I was requesting in the store. I will continue pursuing this issue because it should never happened and should not have been so escalated by a manager for his wrongdoing. Couple days ago I called this location to inquire of the availability of a new item and I was told that the item was not available. I was also told that I could be notified when the next shipment arrives. The in-store representatives advised me today that the new phone was available for purchase. I made it to the store and the gentleman behind the counter efficiently processed my order, helped me transfer the necessary information over to the new phone. DO NOT use this store. They will add extra stuff to your bill without letting you know. I know of several people, including family members, who had to go through T-Mobile to get their accounts fixed (this is a third party retailer). If you have to go make sure you get a receipt and look at every single item. Dont bother with the manager, he's also in it. read more

About two months ago, I visited the Waugh Chapel T-Mobile store after seeing an online promotion for a $200 discount on an Apple Series 9 watch. When I realized the discount wasn't applied after purchasing, I contacted the store. The manager informed me that the discount would appear after a few payments. However, two months later, T-Mobile clarified that the discount should be processed in-store. Returning to the store, an employee rudely informed me that no such discount existed for this watch. Despite him contacting T-Mobile customer service, he was also told to resolve the issue in-store. The employee, after speaking to his manager on the phone, suggested I could discuss the matter with the manager the following day or consider returning the watch - an option I hadn't mentioned. Due to this frustrating experience and purposefully misleading sales tactics. I am switching to a different provider. read more

I visited the T-Mobile Waugh Chapel Towne Centre, 2389 Brandermill Blvd., ste. 106, Gambrills, MD 21054 to inquire why my bill was higher the last few months. We, my fiancé and I, entered the store, a few seconds later, we greeted by the a female employee, was on a personal phone while talking to us. I explained my problem and told her we needed to know why our bill was higher. She started cutting me off because she was still on her personal call while I was talking to her, and she was not paying attention. After trying to explain my problem multiple times in different ways, she is just looking at her tablet and saying "I don't see anything here, you have to call them, I don't see anything. Your bill has always been the same amount" I tried to explain her again, but she just kept repeating that she didn't see anything and just walked away to the back of the store and yelled for someone to "come translate" for me. I told her I didn't need a translator; I just needed her to let me finish talking and listen to what my problem was. At that point, she started yelling at me and calling me a f....ing B....ch, f.. you B....ch, you are a f..ing. b....ch. I then asked her to speak with the manager, at which point she proudly said "I am the store manager B...tch! I told her I was amazed and that she should be very proud to be the manager and deliver such customer service!! Great job, Gina!!!! T-Mobile should be ashamed of hiring people like her. read more

This store is worst business ever seen in my life. The Middle East guy and staffs will put you on the most expensive plan for profit purposes. Never ever listen to what did they said to you, you are lie to you. They don't want give you what they promise you. Try another T mobile store if you can. I hate leaving bad reviews, but people should know about this. I made an appointment online and showed up on time. There turned out to be no point whatsoever in doing this, however, as I had to wait with walk-ins anyway. It's not even clear why the company allows you to make online appointments. There was no place to check-in, either in the store in with an online link. Seems really silly to promise a scheduled time to customers like this for no reason. I waited over an hour to be seen. About 40 min into waiting, the manager asked what I came in for and said he'd take care of me. But he was still helping someone else. While waiting for him to finish with his current customer, his employee saw three people who arrived after me. When I was finally seen, it turned out my issue (converting a prepaid account to a regular account) couldn't even be addressed in the store. That issue sounds like a corporate-level problem, but it's also something the local store could have just told me when I first showed up for my appointment. I really do not recommend this store, or TMobile. I plan on switching to a new carrier after I return from a trip overseas. read more

2 minutes ago I have never in my life received such unprofessional service as I did @ this location. After making a phone call to inquire about a return, I was hung up on by an employee. After arriving at the location to express my grievances the employee was combative and rude to me in front of customers' and proceeded to cut me off @ evey juncture. In the end I decided to take my business else where. I would not recommed anyone to take their business to this store. I wrote an email to the store manager who did NOT have the courtesy to respond to my email or offer an explanation of her uncouth employee. This store is horrible and the customer service is the worse. Trying to exchange an a brand new iPhone 11 that i bought from the Columbia Store for a difference color and they would not do it because it was pas their 14 day return policy. I bought it on 12/11/19 and they were closed on 12/25/19 and they will not do the exchange. I was also told that I would lose my $300 equipment installment payment if we even try to do the exchange. I am very frustrated with t mobile and the lack of customer service. Their so called team of experts are unable to assist and the Store manager was of no help. Came into this location yesterday 2/14/2019 so my little brother could purchase a new phone. He swiped his card and they said it was declined, when you looked at his bank account the money had been taken out and than refunded. So I said let me swipe my card, they said my card was declined which was impossible because the money was in my account. I looked at my bank account while standing there with the employee of T-Mobile and the money was processing in my account. I called my bank and they even stated and said they transaction was good. The store manager I'm assuming kept saying no we don't have the money the transaction was not approved. Kept saying the charge will fall off in a couple days and wont be posted to your account. Well here we are and my bank is less $306.19 and the transaction has posted in my bank. And still do not have a phone or product. Called up there and there isn't a store manager in so I cant be help, they wont give any information for a district manager to help resolve this issue. The associate that was helping us at first yesterday was very nice and helpful. Called customer services and they cant help either! This is horrible customer services and would never even think of changing my account to T-Mobile ever. read more

August 15 just before 5:00 PM. I walked in with a few phone troubles. The African American gentleman whom helped me was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. He went far beyond my expectations, which were based on every other experience I've had in cellphone stores. I wish I got his name, but sadly I didn't. I always get the help that I need here, but something is missing. The wait is long at times, and the turn over rate in staff is crazy. I've been with T-Mobile for over 13 years and was glad when they built the location next to my house. The location is great but depending on how busy the other stores are , parking can be a tad bid hard. The staff are always friendly to my son and when ur is our turn, they do try and hurry up and resolve the problem. read more

I would normally travel to a location closer to home but had read a good review about this location. Since I had to travel to Gambrills for an appointment, I decided to stop by and inquire about a necessary phone upgrade. Aaron was quick to assist, answering my questions, and even providing tips and information I was not aware of (promotions, perks, etc.). Although the phone I wanted was not in stock in stores, Aaron was able to place the order online and I received my phone, delivered within the expected timeframe. Aaron even offered to help me get my phone set up once it arrived, if I had any trouble. This location has provided one of the best T-Mobile experiences, and we've been with T-Mobile for over a decade. I plan to visit this location again in the future. read more
