Google Review: T-Mobile - 2413 Jericho Turnpike, Garden City Park, NY 11040 Customer service makes or breaks an experience, and at this T-Mobile location, Danielle is the reason to go. While the rest of the staff felt a bit indifferent--as if my presence wasn't important--Danielle's professionalism, patience, and empathy completely saved the day. I needed my phone unlocked and had to leave with it before the process was complete. Danielle not only understood but allowed it without hassle, showing trust and flexibility. That kind of due diligence and customer-first attitude is rare. She listened, explained clearly, and treated me with genuine respect. When I did come back Danielle wasn't around and only one girl wanted to help me while the rest seemed too busy. I've been with Sprint / Tmobile for nearly 23yrs. But hopefully this changes as company is thriving. It's no exaggeration to say this review went from a 0 to a 5 solely because of her. Danielle is a good soul who embodies what customer service should be. This store gave me a promotional offer that I was not in fact eligible for due to its ending date having already passed. Due to this, my monthly bill has increased with no recourse, despite the apologies of the woman on the support line. Please educate the employees of this store on what it means to charge someone additional money without actually reading the fine print themselves before trying to sell something. Absolute trash service with braindead employees. Stay away. Good job Tmobile, keep hiring Shanequa and little Tyrone from the projects that have no capacity for customer service. Went in to get a new samsung galaxy and these two clowns above had no clue or motivation to help. They were too busy playing on their phones. After convincing me to change plans and get new phones for "free", it has been a complete nightmare. Every step of the way, from switching plans to upgrading my family's phones has been a hardship that has cost many hours back to the store and on the phone with T Mobile. This store is dishonest and has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am spending thousands with them, they should do better, but after my last experience in the Garden City Park location, I am convinced that they do not care about their customers and will make no attempt to improve. read more

My husband and I went into this T-mobile store because he was having issues with his phone and hoped someone there could help him. He first dealt with T-mobile's customer service at home but unfortunately what they said was going to happen, didn't. Lucky for him, he got the help he needed from Arnav. Arnav was very patient listening to my husband explain his problem and was able to help him. My husband walked out of the store a very happy camper. read more

STAY AWAY, trust me, I don't say this about many places. I should be giving 0 stars but it's not possible. I walked in to upgrade my SIM card back in August when they said I was eligible for 1000$ free for a new phone if I went into contract. I went ahead and accepted and paid the difference, only to find out after fighting with T-Mobile corporate that they added my phone as financed and they basically then stole my trade in. They took the difference as a down payment, then when they told me to sign I received a new phone, when it was actually signing a lease. I'm still working with T-Mobile trying to figure this out. I can only imagine how many people they trick into this. Shame on me for trusting a store I thought would be reputable. In my defense I was there with a restless 5 year old. This kinda stud shouldn't be happening, all this over selling a phone, come on do better. Its not just about the money but the principal. Shame on tThey clearly have some shady business going on with trade in because when I call T-Mobile they don't even know what phone i traded in. Lesson learned, only deal with T-Mobile directly. Mike Gonzalez was extremely helpful with me and fixed the situation quickly despite being rushed by his co worker Chris, Mike kept his composure and handled what he did for me with his knowledge.Kudos. read more

This store was the one bright spot in what has been a truly miserable T-Mobile upgrade experience. The people who helped me were Ish (Store Manager), Keston (Assistant Store Manager), and Raihan (Mobile Expert). I was trying to upgrade my family phones and use the Black Friday P40 promotion for new iPhone 13/13Pro/13ProMax (get Magenta Max and trade in 2 iPhone XS's for $800, and an iPhone 7Plus for $400- all very good condition; total value of trade-ins for me was $2,000). It was Thanksgiving weekend and I was traveling in Boston so I decided to order the phones online while I T-Mobile still had inventory for the phones I wanted. The site had issues and instructed me to call to complete the transaction. I did and was connected to a Care Agent overseas, and he told me the promotion expired- which I informed him it was just started this week for Black Friday and I am looking right at it on their website. Eventually, he put me on hold to consult with an "expert" and hung up on me. I call back and start the process over with another Care Agent overseas. It took an hour and I had to explain the promo again, but eventually I thought the order and trade-in promos went through. They rushed me to sign the Docusign agreements, which by the way, make no mention of the trade-ins (this becomes important later). Later that day, I logged into my T-Mobile account, and noticed that there was no trade-in for one of my iPhone XS ($800), so I called them back. This Care Agent told me that because the previous one didn't properly put in my trade-in promo, he would have to resubmit the purchase correctly and the original order would automatically cancel. It sounded like he just wanted to get me off the phone but I relented. This week when I was at home in NY, 4 phones came instead of 3 because the erroneous order was actually not cancelled. At this point I am furious and I went down to the Garden City Park store for help. These were my issues the helped me with: 1. The erroneous order never cancelled... Keston called T-Mobile corporate and had them process a return for me which I had to mail back because the order was made on the phone 2. The trade-in for my iPhone 7Plus did not show in my promotions online, and Keston confirmed since it was processed during the promo period, it will take the promo, though he was not sure why the system did not show it 3. For the above return, T-mobile corporate processed the wrong phone (I heard Keston provice the correct info though), and I had to go back to the stort, and Raihan helped me update that to the correct phone with corporate 4. Then I noticed today, my account is showing the wrong phone model, even though the IMEI number matched the new phone I just activated. Ish explained this happens on the T-Mobile system and not to be concerned 5. I went back to work with Ish to submit the trade-ins for the promo. On the trade-in for my iPhone 7Plus, the IMEI did not match even though I never gave them an IMEI (the phone was originally from another carrier). Ish helped me push that through 6. The system did not show my iPhone XS as being tagged for trade-in, even though I am holding a piece of paper with the exact IMEI. Ish found it on the system and helped me process that. There were actually other little issues which I won't get into, but the experience was a nightmare and it's actually not over until I see the bills showing the device credits. The team at Garden City Park were really helpful with me and I hope I won't need to go back for further issues. Ish, the manager told me to call him if I do have any. I highly recommend going to this store to do your transactions and skip the online or calling the Care Agents. T-Mobile starting charging the $35 setup fee even with online purchases (started November), so you save nothing by doing it yourself. read more

If I could give this place a zero I would but this 1 star goes to the gentlemen Michael that was trying his best to help fix the issue even though he wasn't the person who was incompetent. Switch over from Verizon and to trade in for the new iPhone and was told phones are on back order. No big deal. Switched SIM cards, use current phone and wait a bit. I call every week there after to get ETA and was told device has not arrived. Ridiculously, after the 5th week I go back to the store and long story short there was never an order created for my phone and to be fair every week that I called, never once did someone ask for my order #, just a phone number. Clearly, the people who work here don't give 2 shitz about their work ethic, service or the business. And that goes for the "manager" too...JOSE. Only 1 star because I have no choice, zero stars is what my real review is... The least helpful most unfriendly people I have dealt with in a while. These phone companies charge unnecessary amount of money for service, you would think they could hire people who know how to handle delicate situations and not say the same thing over and over like they are reading a script, not giving you any real answers and tell you to call customer service. The phone customer service is an even bigger joke since you are talking to people outside of the United States and are reading from a script and are way less help (believe it or not). This was my second time going to this location and you can guarantee it will be my last. I hope enough people read this and choose to find another location as well. You can feel how over people's complaints are after a terrible merger with sprint. But as customers we are the ones suffering and dealing with people who are there simply to collect their paychecks an leave. Had I known this merger was happening I would have NEVER gone with sprint last year when I did. T-Mobile if you are reading this, get yourself some managers who know how to help a staff deal with clients in a professional manor, this is absurd and this particular location could really use some help. read more
