While the rest of the staff felt a bit indifferent--as if my presence wasn't important--Danielle's professionalism, patience, and empathy completely saved the day. I needed my phone unlocked and had to leave with it before the process was complete. Danielle not only understood but allowed it without hassle, showing trust and flexibility. That kind of due diligence and customer-first attitude is rare. She listened, explained clearly, and treated me with genuine respect. When I did come back Danielle wasn't around and only one girl wanted to help me while the rest seemed too busy. I've been with Sprint / Tmobile for nearly 23yrs. My family and I decided to take the plunge and switch over to T-Mobile and chose this store to…read moreexplore our options/pricing and discuss how all the parts would move since we wanted to combine 2 separate family contracts into 1 shared plan. We initially came into this store over a week prior and were patiently helped by a rep (whose name I forget). He explained the timing of unlocking our phones, fees T-Mobile would cover since a couple of our phones were still under contract at our previous carriers, etc. This past Wednesday, we went back in to make the switch. We arrived close to 7:30pm - which was just 1/2 hour before the store was set to close. When we arrived, there were 2 reps working and both were occupied with other clients with another couple of clients waiting. We decided to wait, and after about 15 minutes or so, one of the reps (Elzie) was able to help us. Due to the complexity of combining the 2 contracts (5 lines in total), straightening out the info we had been told by our previous carrier and even calls to T-Mobiles's toll free #, keeping most of our phones after the switch, and adding a new phone, we had tons of questions. Elzie patiently answered everything and guided us toward what made the most sense as far as timing, porting #s, etc. That evening, we ported 4 #s but had to still unlock 1 more line before we could activate that phone with T-Mobile. Elzie gave us his contact info and told me to call him with any questions so we could save another trip back into the store. My 2 cents is that Elzie definitely went above and beyond to help us and he did so with a smile, friendliness, and with complete disregard for the store closing time and staying extra late to make sure we were squared away. Yesterday, I took him up on his offer as I encountered a little hiccup with the previous carrier whilst attempting to unlock the last line. Again, he kindly guided me as to what to say and do with the other carrier - and it worked! As for the store itself, it's a pretty good size, spacious and is well laid out and maintained. There are lots of devices and accessories from which to choose and its greatest asset is definitely employees like Elzie and the other gentleman who helped us during our initial visit. Shared parking lot with other stores in this complex but have never had an issue with finding a spot.

If you want to not be greeted or acknowledged, no real customer service, and just treated like a…read morenuisance, go to this T-mobile. Just rude workers, who don't even look at you. I usually go to the one in New Hyde Park and highly recommend that one instead. I won't return to this one again.
