Hey Caser! You seemed like a nice guy, but what you did was not very nice. We wanted to covert our 2-line "Simple Choice No Credit" family plan into the plan with credit check. This was ALL we needed, but the T-mobile at Glendale Galleria already FAILED once. It was the 2nd time we came into a T-mobile store to deal with the plan conversion, but it didn't work out either! Caser told us things were all set and gave us a confirmation number. After a week, we still had 2 different accounts open with 4 lines, while we only needed 1 account with 2 lines. Thus, we went into a T-mobile store for the 3RD TIME! According to the system, the request Caser sent was denied, and clearly "things were not all set." Not sure whether it was because Caser didn't know how to deal with our plan conversion and made a mistake, or he simply didn't want to spend time helping us since he wouldn't get any commission for a simple plan conversion. read more

The manager and the entire sales team told lies after lies to make a sale until the free cancellation period was over. Promised to provide credit for their incompetency and even offered to mail in the rebates. When they failed to that, after going to the office for the fifth time they denied ever offering to provide such service even though we made sure we had written documentation. If you want to stress out and get ripped off, this is the place to go. When my contract terminates, I will never ever go with t mobile again. If they hire incompetent and shady manager like at this office, it's not the company for me. I guess anyone can work for T Mobile. Raise your standards T Mobile. Shame on you. Omg what a nightmare of a store. I went to this store to try to return my phone but I was met with a grumpy employee he told me I needed a receipt to return my phone but I threw mine away but he said I could do a warranty exchange without a receipt but I said no and left but then I came back and he said he couldn't do a warranty exchange either without a receipt and that I had to buy a new phone instead. I was so confused because I thought I had done warranty exchanges without a receipt before cuz they could just look up my account? So I left again and struggled with my phone for another week until I went to another t mobile and by then too much time passed and I couldnt return it anymore but I was able to do a warranty exchange and they never asked me for a receipt at that t mobile. read more

Regardless of the previous posts, I had a very pleasant experience. I tried out a sidekick 4g for about 2 weeks before I realized that the phone wasn't what i was looking for. Plus, it was just poorly made. For T-mobile, you get what you pay for which coincides with the poor reception. So, I decided to cancel to get what I wanted to begin with, an iPhone 4s. The staff was incredibly friendly. Doug was very courteous when it came to asking for my own account information. Brenda was an awesome salesperson that wouldn't quit trying to get me to buy a different phone in a very friendly manner. Sadly, I was already set on going to Sprint. Overall, my experience was great. It seems as though there are some reviews on here from people who have no clue what they're walking into with very little knowledge of phone operation systems and reception quality. If you want quality, go to Verizon. T-Mobile is affordable and very mediocre. If you have a problem with your service, stop taking it out on the employees. I'm very late on this review, but I suppose after dealing with T-mobile for some time over 2 years now, I can truly make my mind up about them. The service itself is not bad. I've rarely had trouble with calls or receiving texts (as I used to have with other companies). Internet is fast, so overall, I'm pleased with the cell phone service. My problem is with the salespeople. This place is where I came to learn--the hard way--that cell phone salespeople are not to be trusted (typically) because they only care about making that sale. I used to have MetroPCS but my father, who had T-Mobile, convinced me to join his plan because of a special offer. Well, the offer wasn't so special... simply sign up and get a phone on credit, and pay it off. Before I knew it, the salesperson was already setting us up and being very pushy about switching over. I finally gave in. Then she convinced me to trade in my and my son's phones (I had just bought my son's for a little over $200, so it was a brand new Samsung phone). She said it'd apply a credit towards our new phones. She had actually asked to see the phones, so she could check if they qualified and then placed them on her side of the counter, saying, "Oh yeah, they're good, definitely trade them in for a credit and you'll also have insurance on your new phones." Being how she was holding on to those phones and pressuring me, I decided to trust that she was giving me a good offer. (Also felt intimidated/uncomfortable about declining.) Doesn't help she began talking about how it was her birthday and then brought up her kids (which made me sympathize, mom to mom.) Well, fast forward, I never received a credit towards the payment of the new phones. Because the line is under my dad's name, I have no access to the majority of the account/billing information. My father called multiple times to try and get everything sorted. At one point, he was told there had been a mistake and they'd adjust my phone payment balance, but it never happened. Basically, T-Mobile stole my phones. I am not sure if they receive a commission or bonus based on trade-ins, but it is very messed up that they mislead me and as a result, I had to pay a lot for new phones that I didn't need to begin with. I have not bothered upgrading (I'm still on Samsung S6) because I do not trust Tmobile and simply feel like they're out to get my money, and nothing more. (Plus, my phone is still working well.) If you switch from another company, just make sure you don't give them your old phones for free. Don't trust them like I did. read more

While my experience with purchasing a device from this location went well, sadly, returning an unopened, non-activated, "unused" product went completely 180 degrees from good. I purchased a brand new HTC phone as gift for my fiance thinking they were in need of an upgrade. They informed me they were already planning to upgrade to a different phone and did not want this HTC phone that I had just bought. I returned to the store from which I purchased the phone to get a full refund. I was well within the 14 days allowed to return the phone. I was told originally that I would not be charged a restocking fee if the package was not opened. I checked the fine print and that is actually NOT specified in the Return Policy (regarding what triggers a restocking fee - that is actually up to the manager's discretion). The packaging was not torn, ripped, damaged, etc. It was in the same condition as it was when it was handed to me by the sales clerk when I purchased the phone. The phone was NOT activated and hence, was not used. Nothing would qualify this item as being anything other than NEW and should not have prevented them from simply putting it back in their storage / vault and sold to another customer as NEW. They pressed on with charging me the restocking fee of $50 for a still new and unopened product. (Think about when you buy anything from anywhere else, when it is opened, then it is understandable that a restocking fee be charged and the product goes from NEW to USED / PRE-OWNED). Then after keeping my $50 they said they would still have to open the package to ensure that all the pieces and parts and printed manuals, etc. were included. THE PACKAGE WAS BLATANTLY STILL COMPLETELY SEALED, SECURITY LABELS AND TAGS STILL IN PLACE AND NOT DAMAGED OR CUT. So I photographed the packaging there on the spot before they tore into it. (See my photos). Well, while the manager seemed to disagree with my real-life examples and logic, T-Mobile Account Specialists agreed with me and sincerely apologized. Maybe it had a little something to do with the fact that my contract ends at the end of this month and I informed them I would not be continuing with them, maybe it was the fact I mentioned the recent win this week by the FCC chairman Tom Wheeler regarding T-Mobile's "cramming" feature that they were illegally charging customers, or maybe they were just genuinely apologetic. Whatever the true motivation, the Account Specialist over the phone refunded my money and repeatedly apologized however did inform me that the "restocking fee" is at the discretion of the store manager. Well, T-Mobile - both the store and the company - you had better rethink that policy. While I am thankful that I got my $50 bucks back, this is not the first time in the 4 years as a T-Mobile customer that I have had issues between stores and company policies not lining up with each other. I am still going to leave T-Mobile and go to Boost. I had them years back and had no issues back then. This past weekend my mother and I decided that after 11 long years with Verizon and numerous of shady practices + hidden extra charges - it was time to switch to something cheaper. We stopped by to T-Mobile because I saw a promotion online that stated you could get up to 4 lines for $150 + taxes. We went and Hector helped us out. He was very polite and patient and quickly assisted us. He explained to us how that promotion works and what would be needed to be paid that same day. We had 4 lines with Verizon & were paying two iphones on a monthly basis. Hector explained that if we paid off the phones with Verizon, we could finish keep the phones with T-Mobile. Also, he helped us get two new iphones (for my mother and grandmother) and even applied the BOGO 50% OFF promo to the phones - which gaves us a very steep discount. We still haven't received our first bill but so far the service is great. This location & Hector in particular definitely made the transition easy. The store is very clean and is in the same plaza as the Chipotle, UPS & Coffee Bean. They don't validate parking though. All in all, I am one satisfied customer - thanks to Hector's excellent customer service! read more

Caser was amazing! I went in to transfer my info from one phone to another. Not only did he do this but he saved us $10 on our bill every month! He put a new screen protector on my phone, and seriously I have had this done I don't know how many times, he did it perfectly! No bubbles or blemishes! He talked us through the different options and promotions that they had going on. He helped my friend figure out some options regarding an upgrade. He was very sweet, he had a firm handshake... and not to hard to look at;-). All in all I would definitely come back to this store, the customer service was excellent! read more

Aside from being empty when I got there Diego was very patient with me I had just intended of going back to my iPhone 5s from the HtC one m9 but ended up coming out with a new iPhone 6. I have never felt so disgusted by sale reps in my life before. I walked in the store and asked about a phone that I saw on sale online. The sale rep asked me over and over again throughout the visit if I was the one that called the store three times. I made it clear each time that I have never called this store, and was my first time visiting. However, that did not stop him from continuing to give me attitude and treat me like I made his day hell. Even as I walked out the door, I clarified that I am not the person that called him, and he replied by saying "well that makes me feel better". To add onto this poor service, he manager was a few steps away while this happened, and just laid back in his seat, and did nothing. Seemed like he was watching something on his computer. Not only did this worker accuse me for calling the store three time (and whoever did call this store should not be treated the way I was), but he misinformed me with the price. He tried to sell the phone full price, and stated that the phone was only on sale online. I immediately called a T-mobile customer representative after I left the store, and was informed that the phone was on sale IN STORE and online. I had a good talk with the T-mobile representative and explained everything that happened in-store. One of the few businesses that I've come across which has been able to be and remain deplorable for the last 5 years (my time in SoCal). They are never properly staffed (always short-handed), the staff does not acknowledge your presence and they are all rude and disrespectful. First off, I understand that many people are just simply unhappy, let alone unhappy with their cell phone plans! I have been coming here for about 2 1/2 years without a bad enough experience to post or complain about it on FB or Yelp! They have gone through many new employees, but even thos who are gone were still very nice, courteous and most importantly, professional. I have had issues with my previous Blackberry and now my HTC Sensation and everytime I step foot in there, I get nothing but the best possible service. One thing that I understand is that technology will fail us every now and then. Andrew, Brenda and Hector are currently working there and they are all super helpful. Once in a while, David, the store manager has to step in and hook things up for me. I live on the other side of K-Town and even though there is heavy traffic, I still make the effort to come out here to this location. Beware of the T-Mobile Store on Western just south of Wilshire. Their salepeople try to trick you into unnecessarily renewing your 2-year contract. I was trying to use a full upgrade on one of the phone lines in my account and I was told that I would have to renew the other 2 lines on my account. I left and asked the sales people at this store and they said that it was all BS! So, trust me and only go to this store! BTW, they have validated parking in the underground garage and I always stop by the Coffee Bean since...well, why not!?! read more

Wow, came to make a payment with a T-Mobile card that I got from T-Mobile because you cannot use them online; however, at the store third person on the list and there's three employees working. Two were helping a customer and the last was standing there watching a tech guy work on a sensor. It took me 2 hours just to make a payment with these patictic gift cards. I was tired of all my missed calls on metro and tmobile had a four line for 100 bucks offer so i thought it would be the perfect time to switch. I came by and talked to Luis (I think that was his name?) he have me all the info, gave me a list of things I needed and showed me a couple phones. I came by a week later with everything in hand. The guy there really didn't know what he was doing. He said that the other guy gave us wrong info. He seemed new so I decided to come back another day. When I came back, I was helped by Diana. She confirmed the original info I had received and got me all set up. They didn't have the phone I wanted in stock, so she set me up with the other phones and a sim for my future phone. Diana joked around with us and even gave me her hair tie since my hair kept getting in my eyes. She's a prime example of customer service! Now I got my phone and came back to switch my number finally. I guess I came during their busy time cause the place was packed! I stood around for a few minutes before they informed me of a waiting list. They put me on the wait list and after a little wait they got me going. My suggestion to future consumers: get there before 4pm! If not, expect a wait. My suggestion to the business: get a stand and a sign for the wait list. Place it near the door. This will help by A) informing people that there is a wait list. B) gives people an estimate of how many people are infront of them. C) ensures people aren't skipped. Diana gave me a warm welcome and assisted me with any questions I had about the service and phones, etc. I felt like she really was looking after me and was interested in nothing but the best for me and my husband. And the rest of the team was great as well. James K was also of great help when I went back into the store for some accessories for my iPhone. This place is the worst bad customer service. Just to pay your bill you have to wait to get called in the order people walk in. At all other t-mobiles they have a separate line (cashier) to pay a bill and to purchase a phone or have questions. It's ridiculous how long you have to wait to pretty much give them money (pay your bill) having to wait until they're done helping all other customers. And the staff were not nice about letting you know or informing you how many more are ahead of you and just tell you to take a sit when only like 4 people fit in the couch sits. To top it off they don't validate your parking ticket so you having to wait over 35-40 minutes just to pay a bill, at the end your also going to have to pay for your parking which is pretty silly because they purposely make you wait. I prefer driving down to the one on Vermont and Olympic is way better and good customer service even if its a couple of blocks down! Also in the past the manager was really rude when I tried getting my phone there because they didn't want to give me my old number they wanted to give me a new number. read more

Terrible customer service!!! I was told by another t-mobile location that I would receive a $200 gift card if I traded in my old smartphone. I mentioned that to the sales clerk and he told me it had to be the same brand. I was turning in my blackberry z10 for the galaxy s5. Come to find out I could've received my gift card all along! He was either lazy, incompetent or both! And here I was upset at the other sales clerk for supposedly misleading me! I purchased the phone anyways and when I found out I did qualify for the gift card and spoke to another sales clerk all I got was a 'sorry'!!! So I'm looking to get the new Galaxy S6 edge. I'm currently a Verizon wireless customer and finally decided to switch to T-Mobile. Of course before going I called them to make sure they had the phone I wanted. Without hesitation the staff member I spoke with said they had the phone in stock. The particular one I wanted was the gold color with 64g. So great. As I'm driving out there I call again to see if their store is in the same plaza as the one with UPS and Chipotle. The guy on the phone says "no", that it's across from there facing Wilshire. So I'm driving around passing the parking structure and come to see for myself that it is in the same plaza as the UPS and Chipotle. Umm...ok. So I have to go back around. Not really a big deal but a little annoying. So as I'm there I tell them the phone I want: Samsung Galaxy S6 edge in gold. Luckily they had one last one. Great. Now halfway through the transaction I ask again, just to make sure, if it's the edge. The girl goes, "oh...this is just the regular." So she goes to the back to see if the phone I want is there. She comes back empty handed. This alone has now annoyed me beyond words and I'm still very much annoyed now. I'm like..."that's why I called BEFORE coming here so I wouldn't have wasted my time when I have things to do." They didn't even apologize for this matter and didn't really even know how to respond to this. Geez. To top it off they didn't even offer to validate my parking so I had to pay $4. Yup.
