He said if he couldn't fix it, he wouldn't charge me either. Plus, I had an appt. at the Apple Store in 45 min. So, he said he could get it fixed (or not) by the time I had to leave to go into SLO. Yipppeee, he fixed my iPhone and updated the software and gave me great advice on how to manage my storage. I didn't have to drive into SLO, find parking and get talked into a new phone! As she explained, Samsungs require that not only the front screen be replaced but also the back as well (and they must order or have the right color for your phone to do the job). Unfortunately, it would cost me $345 to replace a cracked glass screen on a $700 device. That said, Anna said the labor cost of that would only be $75. I am not ready to pay so much since my phone is still fully functional but I would definitely consider coming here if I had Iphone repair needs since those seem much more affordable. Lesson learned, folks. Get warranties on Samsung devices.
