+ Friendly service (Liz is awesome!) + Clean store After suffering for a bit on the Sprint network, I decided to jump ship and join the pink team, TMo. Did some research on which phones they offered, and came straight to the store. Immediately, I was greeted by the staff and helped out by Liz. Told her I was opting for the Xperia Z3, she went ahead and brought it over. And from there on, there's not much to say but that I enjoyed the process from start to finish. Pretty much told her what I wanted, and that I'd like to keep my number, etc etc. She completed everything, and within 24 hours, my number was fully ported over. Great service. My 2+ year-old Galaxy Nexus broke and I decided to spare no downtime and purchase a Nexus 6. The sales team this T-mobile store were very helpful and not pushy. Even though I don't have T-mobile as my carrier and just wanted to buy the phone, they were very accommodating. I don't remember the saleswoman who helped me, but her Sales Rep Number is 4019891. She was awesome and helped me put on a screen protector at no additional charge, and she was awesome at it. She was also very well-informed about the plans. I may switch back to T-mobile after the excellent service I've received from this store. read more

It's rare for me to give any T-Mobile store a 4 star rating but this particular employee deserves it! I only came in to pay our cell phone bill since we were in the area and at first I was hesitant since the store looked crowded and they write your name on a clipboard like your waiting in a restaurant to have your name called :/ I almost wanted to walk out but I'm glad I didn't. A very knowledgeable and friendly associate named Paola handled the phone bill transaction and told me we were eligible for a free tablet and only have to pay the $10.00 for the monthly data plan! I felt it was too good to be true but she said there was no catch (after all we've only been with them for 11 years!) The activation process was a bit long since they have to call 611 but there was no issues after that! She let us know about how much we owe on our phones and the special offers they have too! Amazing customer service from Paola at the Chapman and Main Location. I went in for a bad cell phone charging cable and after a few standard questions from Paola, she quickly went into the back of the store and retrieved me a replacement cord! I had it with AT&T and paying out the nose for 3 lines and crappy service. I knew what I wanted when I came with my Dad and my Husband and Rudy was just the guy for us! He didn't BS us or try to up-sell. He was a straight shooter, gave us the numbers upfront, and we were sold. It was actually a really good experience. He handled everything like a pro, from working the numbers to the phone info transfer, and even putting the protection on the phones (no air bubbles! Lies lies and total lies! Beware of Desiree Lara giving out promotions and deals .. first off she checked my credit without my consent then in a promotional give away tablet for 25 plus tax. Well she forgot to tell me it is mandatory to keep data service at 15.00 for 24 months ... she just said I can get you data for 10.00 a month.... lies lies lies its 15.00 for 2 years... so I take it back when I get a credit alert and try to return it. The girl working says yes it has been over 14 day but we can wave it and return it ... another lie... no return very bad business and I just have time to go to small claims court... also I asked for a manager to override her decision and got an associate manager that was saying no deal before really understanding what had happened.. beware!!!! read more

I have been to this store a few times. I know that their service is slow, but this last time I stood there for 15 minutes before the took my name down. I am patient, but by minute 25 someone walks in and they help them instead of me. If you say you are going to help me, then please do so. Hi. Went into the store on July 29 with a broken phone. Francisco Ordered a new one through my T Mobile insurance plan. Paid ten dollars and had my new phone the next day! Not being a tech guy at all, I charged the phone and brought it to the same store the next day. Carol gladly helped me out with transferring my data and deleting the information on my phone. It was all done in ten minutes or less! This is why Have been with T Mobile for 13 years. great job everyone! read more

I have always been happy with tmobile especially this location. But my most recent trip was sadly disappointing. I went to the store to get a new sim card as I had recently switched phones and the old one I had didn't fit. I was told I had to pay $20 for the sim card. I explained to the associate that I have never been charged before and asked if that can be waived since I had been a customer for a very long time. She called her manager and had the very unpleasant experience of dealing with Michael V. In a very condescending manner, he proceeded to tell me no. I don't mind getting a no answer so much as the way he said it. I will not be returning to this store. read more

To start off my very long story simple, do not ever get t-mobile. Their plans and prices may seem good compared to other network providers but I do not recommend it. My boyfriend and I decided to switch from Verizon to T-mobile for the 2 lines unlimited plan for $100. Seemed like a decent deal and their coverage maps for the service. Well, even to begin with there were problems. The employee entered our verizon account wrong so our numbers didn't activate correctly and we had to go back the next day to fix that. A week went by and the service was fine, but then I noticed it was really slow in areas that said it was strong. We then went up to Northern California (SF area-where we were moving to at the end of January) and the service was beyond horrible. Clearly the coverage maps are not accurate. No service on the freeways or even at my parents house. (My parents Sprint phones worked bettter). As soon as we got back to socal within the 14 day return period, we went straight to the t-mobile store where we originally purchased it. We cancelled our lines and got our number switched back to Verizon and went to the store to return the iphone 6. The process to return the phone took a very long time since the employee didn't know how to return the phone since we already canceled the line over the phone through customer service. So the manager had to come over and return the phone manually. On the upside, he did refund us the SIM cards. We finally got our receipt and left. A month goes by, I receive a bill for a charge of $136 and some change, I called t-mobile and told them we canceled the lines within 14 days and we don't owe anything, since we haven't been using the service. He looked into it and agreed that we didn't owe anything. So now I'm thinking great, I can move on, but NOPE, another month goes by and I get a bill for $759 and some change. I call t-mobile told them my situation and asked why i have a bill for $759 they told me "unfortunately we don't have the proper documentation that the iphone 6 was returned." YOU'RE KIDDING ME.... I proceeded to tell them I have my refund on my amex statement to show proof and I paid the restocking fee and he told me again about the documentation is missing and I need to go into the T-mobile store. I told him, since it is your fault your employee did not get the "proper documentation" you can call the store and request it. He calls me back and says the store doesn't have a record of me coming into the store at all on Jan 19th - eventhough I clearly have my amex statement saying I returned the phone. So then I decided to call the store manager myself. I explained the situation, he looked into the computer and also told me I never was in the store. I gave him the time and date when I was there and he said he would look into it for me and call me back. 20 minutes or so passed, and I decided to call him again, he said they found the receipt and the return and said there was a form that the employee should have given me to fill out since we "poured the service" stating that we don't owe the remaining balance on the phone since it was returned. So clearly, this location needs training on what documentation needs to be completed. Anyway, he said he would contact customer service for me and take care of this. If you don't want to be scammed or accused of not being in a store you clearly were in and have bank statements to prove it, don't get t-mobile. Hopefully, next month I don't get a surprise bill for something I don't even use or own.... Verizon is a few bucks more a month, but its worth every penny to not have to deal with horrible customer service and bad reception. read more
