My old phone did me good for almost 2 years but I've really wanted an i Phone, because I have an old ipod touch for my music needs. The help with all my questions and needs were handled in a PATIENT and SINCERE manner. Today Carla, the best, helped me transfer all my playlists onto my Toshiba lap top. Carla is not the person that sold me the phone. Carla should get employee of the month. I've been on hold for 5 hours with T-Mobile customer service, so I decided to call the local T-Mobile store that I originally set up my service at. I called the Broadway location and the gentleman on the phone said he could not help me over the phone. My issue can be handled over the phone though. I have always been helped over the phone. The gentleman told me to stay on hold with customer service until they are available tomorrow. Or I can come into the Broadway location to be helped. So basically I am unable to get any customer service today! I have never experienced such awful customer service where I am left without any resolution. I have decided to stop using T-Mobile here in the near future. I have literally wasted my day trying to get human help. It's been 5 hours already. All I need to do is apply the $10 credit on my account to my hot spot, which should be a simple task to do but there is literally no one that will help me! I have a few issues with this store. 1. It's terribly small and the wait times are always ridiculous! 2. Because it's so small, there's never any place to sit and wait (one tiny bench that would fit two people). AT&T does this WAY better. 3. The employees who smoke do so right in front of the store then throw their cigarette butts on the sidewalk and street. That's disgusting! I was really impressed with Alex during our visit - he was knowledgeable about various products and services, and he made an effort to confirm anything and everything that he wasn't 100% sure about. We ended up walking out with 2 new iPhones after going over our options with him, and he made the entire process quick & easy. Having worked retail, I know how draining it can sometimes be, but he seemed genuinely interested in making sure we get the set-up that best suits our needs, with or without a sale, and we really appreciated that - he was just full of energy and enthusiasm. Stellar customer service from Alex!! I had brought in an older model Metro PCS phone to see about what I needed to do to activate it for my Mom. Her mongrel brand phone has been having disrupted service through T Mobile and it's imperative she have a working phone/network, as she is a disabled senior. Alex let me know my phone had water damage as well as only 2G, so that wouldn't work out to what I was needing. He thoroughly answered any questions I had and even printed out some info he shared so I could reference that in my search for an appropriate phone/plan/service. Alex is courteous, professional, and knowledgeable about products/service, and I feel went the extra mile in helping me. Hands down, I got the the best customer service that I ever experienced in a T-mobile store. I simply went in there hoping to update my plan to include data because I received a free Blackberry from a friend. I was informed by a Eran (the fantabulous worker), about all of my options with the data plan. She initially pulled out just the typical data sheets, but when I looked confused, she broke it all down for me. She even looked at my usage and told me what could possibly work if I upgraded my phone because of some of the limitations with the Blackberry. She then told me that I actually qualified for an upgrade and told me of an equally fantabulous sale that would be occurring over the weekend that would make an upgrade worth it. She showed me some of the smart phones that were most popular and had some of the features I was interested in. APPS!!! I will finally get to use APPS!!!! You are mine Angry Birds and the one where you push someone down the stairs using their FB profile photo. Eternal distraction is at my fingertips. Additionally, she gave me a website where I could go and look up user reviews of the phone. Really, all I want to do is take random photos to post to my FB page and send to my email and catch my(self) and friends doing embarrassing things on vid. In late October I purchased a brand new Note 8 and a Zagg screen protector at that time from T-Mobile. I had decided to switch from Verizon to T-Mobile to save a few dollars. It was very important to me that I protect my very expensive phone with a nice screen protector. I had owned the Note 4 for years and loved it and had a glass screen protector on it. I loved the look and feel of the glass screen protector I had with my Note 4 and was wanting the same thing for the Note 8 that I was considering purchasing. The store assured me they had a glass screen protector and that it would provide the look and feel I wanted and I could protect the screen to the phone I was interested in purchasing. I bought the Note 8, the $50 glass screen protector and a phone case to protect my new very expensive phone. Within 10 days my screen protector popped off my phone when I was laying in bed looking at my phone. I took it into the store and they said that it had been a known issue with the new glass screen protectors for the curved screen and they would replace it for me no problem, especially since it was within their 14 day no-buyers-remorse window. What I should have done was return everything as the problem is continuing and after I was outside of that 14 days the customer service I experienced would get worse and worse. The next time I came in after they replaced my screen protector (it was about 2 weeks after the replacement was installed. The same thing happened again, the screen protector just popped off while being used. So I went back in to have it replaced again ( I haven't even owned the phone for a month at this point.) They said the same thing, that it was the design of the new glass screen protectors for the curved screen and the problem would probably keep happening and I could just bring it back in and have it replaced when I needed. I expressed my concern for my phone not being protected for the time that the screen protector is not on and they said I could have a plastic scratch resistant screen protector in exchange. I was not satisfied to exchanging my item out for a lower cost item. I had purchased the Note 8 from T Mobile with the understanding that they had a good glass screen protector from Zagg that would give me the look and feel that I was looking for and provide the protection I needed for my brand new $900 phone. At this time they declined to give me a return on the $50 screen protector that they sold to me aware of its faulty design. I opted to just replace the screen protector again and hope that it would stay on this time. The third time this entire thing happened again about 3 weeks after my last visit and T-mobile offered me no replacement and told me to call customer service number. I called the T Mobile customer service number and they told me they would replace it in the store for me. I went back to the store and told them this and they told me I was wrong. I told them to check the notes to call customer service and ask. They called customer service and confirmed that customer service offered to replace it for me. They did replace the screen protector but had a bad attitude about doing it and I was extremely unhappy with the service I received. What would you expect? About 3 weeks later the screen protector popped off again. I am annoyed I have to visit a T-Mobile store downtown where I receive poor customer service every 2 weeks. While the screen protector was off my phone in my bag the screen protector broke. When I went into the store to have them replace it the Assistant Store Mgr. told me that they couldn't replace it and they don't replace screen protectors for their customers that I would have to contact the company (Zagg) who makes the screen protectors. I told the Asst. Mgr. that they had replaced it for me before and that I was nervous about my phones screen being un-protected for any amount of time. He said there was nothing he could do. I told him I was extremely unsatisfied. T Mobile assured me they would assist me in protecting my phone when I paid $900 to purchase it from them. Now I had to wait until Zagg could ship me a new screen protector leaving my phone vulnerable and I knew they charged $10 to ship since my friend had the exact same issue with same screen protector for her Note 8 and contacted Zagg already about a replacement. The assistant manager had a very "your wrong, I'm right attitude." he made me feel extremely dissatisfied with the customer service at T Mobile. I had never experienced such a condescending person working in customer service. He told me that he has had many customers who never needed to replace this brand of screen protector and there was no problem with it and that he couldn't verify that I had actually just broken the screen protector. I told him that I had been in many times about this screen protector and that is a known issue with these screen protectors and I had many of his employees verify this in the past. I just got my new phone, impulse buy that I'll soon regret or great deal? I went to T-Mobile just to check out a new phone to replace my brick from last century and ended up walking out with a new phone. They were having a buy one get one free special, I wasn't suppose to get two of the newest smart phone that just came out. I could have gotten a different smart phone--but as I wasn't a current T-Mobile and the S.O. was so he was willing to give us two of the latest phones. He also got my S.O. a slight discount for customer loyalty on the monthly data plan since he said that I couldn't get the same data plan and would have to pay $5 or $10 more. He suggested that we call the customer line because customers have more pull than corporate--I guess because we can (like I'm doing to Verizon) just jump ship. Had a very poor experience with John today, an employee at this location. We went in to upgrade an older phone on our plan to a newer iPhone 11. He was pushy, abrasive and condescending when we asked him questions. We bought a phone anyway, because that's why we were there but as we were setting up he pushed the phone at us and said "you can take it from here" to upload our contacts etc from the cloud. He did not connect us to WiFi and was impatient when we asked. We wanted to put cash down on the phone to lower our monthypayment and he rushed through the pay portion and told us he "couldn't go back" to take the cash. (We had told him at the beginning of the transaction and he forgot) After leaving us with the phone he disappeared, we asked a girl working there if we needed to do anything else and she said "I'm assuming not since he took his lunch". EXTREMELY poor customer service. He did make sure to inform us that we needed to give him five stars on his review through T-Mobile about our experience- though we wish we could give him negative stars. read more

My T-Mobile experience. I'm a new T-Mobile customer and this is my actual experience with T-Mobile. Everything stated in this review is true and can be documented. I wanted to switch from Verizon so I went to the T-Mobile website and signed up for a new iPhone 11 and two new lines for me and my wife. Website was confusing and seemed a bit deceptive regarding 55+ and switching over discounts. My web order was completely messed up so I had to call T-Mobile customer support several times over 3 days to setup my new phone and cellular lines as I originally intended using their website. Several discounts the website said I qualified for evaporated after I had T-Mobile customer support fix my order. I was expecting to see some money for paying off my two Verizon iPhones but I've only seen $93 out of the $300 I still owe Verizon. So far, I've spent close to 15 hours on the phone with T-Mobile and the switch has cost me over $800 when you include the cost for the new iPhone. Cell service is the same as verizon, no cost savings and their website and customer service is terrible. T-Mobile customer support is fond of saying welcome to the family. More like the Manson family. Don't fall for T-Mobile's fancy ads saying how great they are (They're not). Stay with Verizon and save yourself some money. read more

Just switched from att to tmobile...and I have to say I am impressed with the customer service. Brought both of our iPhones which we had to unlock through att FIRST, before coming to the store. Easy to set up and the guy (Cherag) was super patient and honest that it was a transaction of about 20 mins from start to finish, no frills or upsell, just good ol customer service and very knowledgeable in making it happen. Trying to get signed up with a phone with T-Mobile has been the most frustrating experiences I've ever had with a service provider. I've talked to them in person at this location, or on the phone with a rep, at least 6 times over the last 3-4 weeks and I'm still trying to get a phone. They couldn't help me with an unlocked phone, they couldn't sell me a certified pre-owned phone, and now they claim after all this that I'm not on the account, so they can't get me into a brand new phone even though they placed two other transactions with me that they just couldn't fill because it was supposedly back-ordered. It was busy, and one guy even asked to " jump the queue since he had someone waiting." Okay. So when we got to the front of the line, we got Kyrie, and she was amazing. We are bottom feeders these day...we wanted to get the cheapest little phone in the store. That being said, Kyrie gave us A-1 First Class Treatment the entire time we were with here. She explained Everything, patiently, at least twice, and helped us understand the difference between the two brands we could choose from. Transferred 3 lines to T-Mobile at this location. Wotta mistake. The store just "happened" not to set up the account correctly to qualify for the advertised free companion flights. Then the rebate receipts they printed were not acceptable to T-Mobile's rebate center. T-Mobile couldn't care less about the problems; no help whatsoever. Meanwhile, the Motorola ZN5 phone I got has poor voice quality. Brought it back to the store but they claim T-Mobile has no way to verify its functioning. Its operating system (Linux) frequently crashes, but again T-Mobile support can't be bothered. Stay way from T-Mobile! Even by the standards of phone companies they stink. read more

My boyfriend and I decided that after being completed bombarded with overage fees from Verizon we needed to switch to another provider. He decided to call into T-mobile after hearing some positive things about their international plan from someone while we were backpacking through Colombia. He spoke the employee Dane who was nothing short of helpful and patient as he answered all of Corey's questions. To make a long story short, we decided to make the change to t-mobile and had a wonderful experience while doing it, specifically because of Dane. He was thorough, attentive, and still managed to compose himself in the most professional way while dealing MULTIPLE issues that arised during the process (due to Verizon). There are multitude of examples that i could give to validate my appreciation I have for everything that he did but I think it's most appropriate to say, If you go into the store ASK FOR DANE.
