Deducting one star only because of long wait, but they were fairly crowded and seemed a little understaffed at the time so it's not a big deal. The shop itself was not a terrible place to spend 20 minutes waiting in, really...quiet and spacious. Overall, I was quite happy with the service provided by the guy who helped me, bearded 30-something white dude whose name I sadly forget. He was professional, honest, and competent at his job...is that so much to ask for these days? You might think so, if you ever have the bad luck to find yourself at the utterly horrible T-Mobile shop about 10 minutes away on Revere Beach Parkway near Assembly Square...I'd sooner stick my johnson in a blender than ever go back to that one. read more

This Tmobile store is fantastic. This week I got a Samsung phone after years of owning iphones and I was having a dificult time figuring everything out. I stopped by Tmobile in Twin City plaza and Karla helped me out. Karla helped me out ALOT with my transition and even helped me with putting on the screen protector (which she did an amazing job with). I used to yelp more in the past but now I usually do it if I've had an exceptionally good or really terrible experience; and from my five stars you can tell which one this was :) I've been to this store twice and both times I've been pleasantly surprised by the warmth and kindness and effectiveness of everyone there. No nonsense, no up selling, great plans, just straight talk and clear-cut problem solving. This evening (around 5pm) was no exception. Everyone was nice and warm and efficient but I probably wouldn't have written this review if it hadn't been for the young lady who helped me get on the WiFi plan. Not only was she very professional and effective, but also GENUINELY kind and warm and caring. My in laws, who speak little English, suddenly had to flee their country, and she patiently worked with us to help them transfer their phone service while keeping their phones. This store opened a few weeks ago in the Twin City Plaza. It is very large and not crowded at all. Most importantly, it has a huge parking lot and next to a Shaw's, Marshalls, Rite-Aid, Dunkin Donuts, Papa Ginos, McDonald's, a Dollar Store, a fabric store and a Bank of America ATM. Talk about wrapping so much suburbia into one short trip. Unlike Cambridgeside or Downtown Crossing, the place is not mobbed and you actually can speak to someone about your service and get your hands on the phones. Let me start by saying they have good customer service but ultimately I was swindle. Last year, I went in to get my mom a new phone. I was switching her from another carrier on to my t-mobile line. The fast taking employee talked me into also getting in a new phone under the pretense that it would be buy one get one free. ALL LIES. I've been paying for both phones since August. I'm pissed. Went to this location, WOW, the customer service was great. Angelina helped us and knew exactly what to do. I had been to another location and they told me I would need a new phone. For the record my phone currently says that I have been on the phone waiting for T-Mobile customer service 201:57. In other words, there is no one picking up the other line and absolutely no respect or sense of urgency from T-Mobile to provide customer service. They are either pushing employees away so there are none on the other line or they are doing something they should not on the other end. This is my store experience: they give me the oldest phone they have in their possession as a part of a promotion and then three months later the phone starts blanking out so I cannot contact anyone or see my contacts or anything on the screen. When you go to a carrier you expect respect and customer service. Giving someone a known broken REVLL oldest model phone to sell a 50.00 a month plan. They should be beyond ashamed of themselves. I went in there to purchase a new phone for my mother and Nancy was amazing. Super friendly and did not try to up sell us any product. A day later I realized that I had insurance on the phone and I could get her a replacement for free. Knowing I may end up paying a buyer's remorse fee, I called and asked for Nancy and told her about my mistake. She remembered us and took care of the situation. I'm a long-time T-Mobile customer.. long story short my wife and I visited Canada last week and my phone died. I stopped by this location yesterday and found a newer model of the phone I had. KARLA had me back up and running in no time. Including transferring all my apps, favorites, contacts, and 500+ photos to my new phone. They were very helpful on a day when the whole of the greater Boston area was shutting down because of an impending snow storm. Natalie was super friendly and helped us get what we wanted. She didn't try to sell us something that we wouldn't use. We got a new plan so of course they would be nice. I was very delighted with the service I received!Collin was very professional and patient when I had a lot of confusion about my account and he made sure to contact corporate offices to really understand the issues & took the time to elaborate on any questions I had. My phone died, and I needed to switch to a new phone, which I'd bought elsewhere. Miguel was super helpful and he transferred the sim card to the new phone and also transferred all my contacts. There were some initial technical difficulties, but he kept at it and worked through the issues, which is something I really appreciated especially since I wasn't actually buying anything. The store employee named Melissa sold me a phone but put the wrong one on the receipt then when I went back to the store they couldn't find the Galaxy Note 5 that was on the receipt I believe they stole it to sell it and now I'm stuck out $500 and they wont do anything. Do not go to the store they are lazy and they are thieves! One thing I can say is that they will try to get you to buy a bunch of accessories and that's the one time that they'll be nice to you! read more

I like T-Mobile as a carrier and their employees are usually very helpful -even the customer service hotline is fine! But this store is terrible. I went there two days ago to get a new phone that was offered in a promotion, but they told me I could only get it if I opened a new line and would forfeit the money I already had on my prepaid plan. Total ripoff! So I went to the store in the Cambridgeside mall and they gave me the new phone with no questions asked, on my existing line, all money still intact. Plus, they told me I could have opened a family plan with my partner instead of the individual plans we have now, saving us lots of money and that they could arrange the switch for us. We got our original plans at the Twin Plaza location and they never told us about this option. Do not go here! They will rip you off. read more
