I am not an expert with IP telephony by any means, but I am competent enough to ask the right questions. I spoke to one of their sales engineers and was appalled about the inability to answer basic questions. I was trying to figure out how many SIP trunks I would need, how many sessions per trunk, and DID (Direct Inward Dials). I am not sure the engineer knew the difference between a DID and session. I was also wondering if they had any documentation / HCLs between their on premise equipment and my switches and never got it. I wanted to know if their phones supported QoS tagging, if they would auto-configure with Cisco, etc... no answer. I asked about how to port our existing numbers over, how long it would take, etc. and was not given any answers that invoked confidence in me. Answers like "it takes a few weeks," and "there may be some down time" stop my heart from beating when it comes to something mission critical like my phone system. That was the third, and final, strike... it's very possible I go bad sales representative, but for now, my faith in the service is nonexistent so I am looking elsewhere.

I left and went to a competitor to buy the new phone I wanted. I cancelled my service with T-mobile over the phone to start new service with the new company then a few weeks later I see a charge on my debit account for another month of service from T-mobile even though I already canceled with them, called to find out why i'm being charged for a month of service I never used and was told that I canceled one day too late , I needed to cancel one day sooner to avoid the full 30 day charge, and that no one in the company could credit that charge back or make any changes due to the computer programing they were using. Really ??? a corporation worth MILLIONS needs to create weak underhanded rules to cheat the public out of $94.00 ??? Pathetic, needless to say I am done forever with this nonsense.
