Today was definitely an adventure. Sometimes you have to go in physically to get your things taken care of. No one online was able to help & luckily the gentleman who helped me setup my phone, was able to direct us to Apple in Tacoma & noted the account for us. Spent a few hours trying to do it online with t mobile customer care. No luck ended up wasting my time. I forgot your name sir but I highly appreciate your help we showed up exactly when you guys opened. They also answered my call before they even opened! That right there gets this 5 star review not including everyone in this store made me feel like they actually gave a shit about what was going on. I appreciate the help I got today . I will never deal with this store again. Representative lied to me about type of program or should I say plan that he signed me up for and then denied all of it? He was abusive and rude. My Wife and I were there to move her line onto my account and upgrade both of our phones. We were advised there would be a fee to swap line and it would be $10. I asked if they would waive the fee since I was literally about to buy new phones. The rep said it would be up to his manager. His manager came over and said no because it would be literally taking money out of his paycheck. Direct quote. Whatever, fine, you can't do it. We moved on. My wife had a prepaid account and we understand there was some difficulty moving it. It was taking some time with the customer service rep over the phone and honestly we were getting frustrated because they weren't being very helpful. It kept diverting her back to the app when they'd send links but they wanted her to go online instead of using the app. Because it was taking some time, I asked the sales rep if the manager could help me while he was helping my wife to save on time. He said "sure,just use the t-life app and it will do everything for you." At this point I was also getting frustrated. I'm about to pay over $2k for new phones just to be told to use the app. That's the best customer service that could be offered. So I said, well if I'm just going to use the app, why'd I come into the store? The rep then got mad and said "What's your problem?" I said my problem is, I'm literally trying to give you money and you're making it harder rather than easier. He said something to the effect of "well you don't have to have a fucking attitude about it" It escalated from there between us yelling at each other and me demanding his manager. The manager came out and his form of de-escalation was to yell "EVERYONE IN THE STORE SHUT THE FUCK UP" which, to be fair, did work... but probably not the best way to handle things. The employee came around the desk and got in my face and was being aggressive and threatening me, wanting to fight. The manager pulled him away and then he got in my wife's face and called her a bitch. The manager had to physically push him into the back room. The manager then said it would best if we just got the fuck out and don't come back. As we were walking to our car, the sales rep came running back out to try and fight us again, threatening us again. He eventually left as did we. I cannot tell you how rattled we felt, being talked to and treated this way. I never imagined upgrading our phones would be an actual dangerous situation. We have been T-Mobile customers for years and have never been shown such disrespect or aggression. read more

There is a man who works there who wasn't wearing a name tag the day I went in. He stinks. Needs a class in hygiene or breath etiquette. I wouldn't normally care about this but he was rude, condescending and generally unhappy. His vibe was straight up misery. The women in the store were great. Super friendly and helpful. read more

I went in to start a new line with an existing phone, the salesperson lied to me saying my phone wasn't compatible and I had to buy a new one. I later went up to the Bonney Lake location and activated the phone just fine. read more

ONE STAR. I went into t-Mobil Sumner last Thursday to get a new phone. I traded in my old iPhone for the iPhone 12. I worked with Drew the assistant manager at this location. He told me that in order to transfer everything on my old iPhone to my new one I needed to buy more iCloud storage and then he will restore it and transfer everything to my new phone. He stood with me for over an hour while I bought more iCloud storage. He told me it was going to take a long time to upload everything and get it switched to my new phone. He advised me that I could leave and come back, so I did. I returned an hour and a half later (right before they closed at 8PM) and he said "it was almost done uploading and it will continue once you leave" he assured me I would get all of my pictures back on my new phone since he "uploading everything to iCloud and transferred it " he forced me to erase my old phone to trade it in. I had to leave since they were closing but he assured again, "I would get all my pictures". I left and I lost EVERYTHING on my iPhone since June 9th, 2020. To say I am upset is an UNDERSTATEMENT. I had private banking information in my phone that is GONE and CANNOT be recovered. I am now out THOUSANDS of dollars because Drew did his job improperly. I talked to him on the phone today and all he said was "I apologize, you should call Apple. I just now got off the phone with Apple after over and hour long conversation and they said all of my pictures are GONE FOREVER. This is unacceptable and I WILL be filing a BBB complaint. This needs to be resolved. read more

Especially if it was a gift, they absolutely won't exchange anything, even if it was wrong type etc.. outside of return window. Terrible customer service. I had the absolute best time ever!! I brought my grandparents in so I can get my grandpa a new SIM card with his paid of iPhone I had. He went from a 1912 android to an iPhone 10. Everyone was so funny and amazing. The help was wonderful from all 3 gentlemen working. Even one gentleman who was helping another customer was till very kind and involving us all when he was teaching my grandpa about his new phone lol. Zack was so sweet and very knowledgeable. I went into T-Mobile with my girlfriend to switch over to the carrier from Verizon (me) and at@t (her). This is a great store to go to if you just plan on signing papers and not asking questions. The employees communication and listening skills are atrocious. The more I heard them speak the more confused I became. Apart from my personal preferences on how I would like to be treated, they either 1. Lied (not likely) or 2. were ignorant/negligent, as they said my monthly charge would be around 170-175. I checked my T-Mobile billing account and my autopay was scheduled for $45 dollars more than that, over $200. They had me signed up for t mobile one plus when it was stated that my monthly payments would be $170-175. We were given conflicting instructions and information by separate employees regarding our trade in devices. They gave no special instructions for my Verizon account, saying it was part of a "get out of the red" program (that made it easy to switch carriers). Now upon contacting Verizon apparently T-Mobile should send out a virtual Visa card but I didn't hear anything about that in the store, except for the AT&T account, which they gave the following conflicting instructions concerning the phone we were trading in: 1. You HAVE to mail it in -and another employee said: 2. You can bring the device into the T-Mobile store I am thoroughly disappointed with the service received here. I walked in to the T-Mobile with a clear mind and I have gotten progressively more confused the more I talked to the associates in the store. I almost walked out of the store just because of the employees there and went to a different T-Mobile store. T-Mobile has good deals on their plans but I regret not walking out of this store. read more

We have been to Sumner T-Mobile a number of times and each time we were extremely impressed by the courteous, professional staff. We live closer to a different T-Mobile and the Sumner store staff so far exceeds service in other locations we go the extra distance to Sumner and have never been disappointed. read more
