Lakeland Hills and Puyallup River Road locations are the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Sydney, Jack, Dave and the district Veronica K. have zero accountablity when it comes their job. Zero loyalty to their customers who pay their paychecks. they dont do there job right, I highly recommend ONLY go to the regular Corportate Verizon stores for the staff at coporate stores as they are more friendly & professional and they have more knowledgable of what they are doing. Too many times of bad experiences with both locations. Not to mention Victra's response is the exact same robotic response to everyone who has left a bad experience review. LOL. read more

I was told the phone I bought was free with a three year plan. I'm paying 5$ a month for it. I would get a 35$ discount for buying add ons. I didn't, had to go back to the store to get that. I would get Hulu ESPN+ Disney+ free for a year, I didn't get that. I had to have the 90$ a month plan , I didn't need that, could have gone with the 65$ plan. My WiFi would be 35$ a month, was charged 45$ I went to the corporate store and was told there was nothing they could do as this store was a dealer. Told my plan would be around 120$ a month, billed 200$. Basically lied to about everything. read more

This morning my phone has the SOS symbol, no cell service and came up with a "no sim" message. I tried to troubleshoot and it said to take it to a carrier to have the SIM card checked. The guy won't even look at it, tell me how to open the sim tray or sell me a new card unless I pay him $40 to troubleshoot with no guarantee it will work. He then tried to sell me a new phone instead. No thanks Verizon. I'm not sticking with a company that can't even provide a basic service for my $300+ a month bill. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this location! Upgraded 3 phones all at the same time and everything that could go wrong went wrong. Walter helped me just about every time i went to the store to get things fixed. He always remembered me and my situation and was so incredibly helpful. I normally view buying new phones on the same level as a new car. I hate it. This however was the best experience I've ever had. Robert was the most honest salesperson. He gave us every deal possible, explained everything up front and did not try to hide any fees or surprises. We ended up with 2 new Google pixel 3xl phones, 2 wireless charging stands, 2 power banks, 2 glass screen covers installed and new cases for both phones. We paid a little over $200 out the door. Went in back in March 2022 changed to Verizon from another phone service. Taryn was a total sweetheart, she helped my husband and I connect multiple lines. Taryn is the total best! She was extremely helpful and patient. Gave us so much information about our new phone, watch, and iPad services. Kevin was also extremely helpful and made us feel welcome. So was everyone else in that store. I totally recommend Verizon and this specific location. I always go to this store and this store only as the next closest one is at south hill mall and although they are much larger and better staffed, the customer service is always poor. The river road location has never failed me. Three phones int my business relationship with this store and that's inspire of management changes over the years. The service has been seemless each time. That is truly a testament to this location. They should train the south hill mall location before employees are sent there to work. read more

Taryn is hands down the BEST Verizon employee I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. My boyfriend and I came in last spring to get him a new phone and I was so impressed with Taryn's knowledge and care for us, I ended up purchasing an Apple Watch that day, completely unplanned. I came back a couple weeks ago to get a new phone and once again, she went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience possible. My new phone took a long time to update and she spent the whole time just chatting with me and really made me feel so incredibly welcome and comfortable. I only shop at this location now solely because of Taryn and her amazing customer service. I had even been considering switching phone carriers at one point due to my job but because of meeting Taryn, I decided to stick with Verizon. I'm 70+years old, female and not very technical. The salesman at the Apple Store said i could easily unpair old watch, pair new watch and add a cellular line. I was unsuccessful . Tried contacting customer service at Verizon. Ended up texting with technician there. Was told I needed a sim card for watch and one would be sent to me and to call back. A sim card never arrived. Went to the Verizon store and was fortunate to be helped by Leslie. She was amazing--knowledgeable, very personable and professional. My questions were answered. Didn't need sim card. I went into this location to grab a SIM card and received the worst customer service ever. The store was completely dead and they acted like I was interrupting their time to chat. They refused to answer any of my questions like "when do I put my new SIM card in?" Was answered with "call Verizon customer service". So basically if you need help save yourself a trip and just call Verizon directly. I was told my SIM would be free but they charged me for it. When I asked if they had a SIM card opener to help me open the SIM card slot at home they told me no and said I should go buy some push pins. At this point I call Verizon customer service when I get back in the car to speak to someone about how stressful switching from T-Mobile has been, I've never had such horrible service from T-Mobile ever and the guy at Verizon customer service explained to me that the franchise stores like this one will charge you more for literally everything, including plans and devices and will charge you for SIM cards even when it would be free at a corporate store. Basically these locations are a scam with bad customer service. Avoid at all costs. read more

I was a compete mess, my phone got stolen, I had zero money, two jobs to get to, and a emergency. The girls were wonderful! They were kind, patient, uplifting, non judgmental, and WENT OUT OF THERE WAY to accommodate my emergency. I was a mess, in tears and panic, embarrassed to be counting literal pennies to handle my situation. They never judged me, they helped me count my coins. Those girls were a blessing that day. I was told to wait outside along with another gentleman because the store was at its maximum due to the Corona virus. I didn't mind waiting and I waited for 45 minutes a gentleman drove up in his truck went in the door inside and bumped in front of me and another guy. Both of us were waiting patiently. I brought it to the attention of the girl working at the kiosk and she explained that the guy just walked in and wanted help now so she helped him instead of telling him he'll have to wait because there's two other people in front of you. I bought a phone there two years ago, and I usually buy phones from the bonney lake Verizon. There is such a difference in service, there is no comparison. One example is that if your glass (that I paid $50 for lifetime replacement) breaks this location makes you register online and prove you bought it and then have the glass sent to you, and then you need to bring it to them. At bonney lake they just look it up and replace it. Worst experience ever, and I will NEVER buy from this location again. Buyer beware! read more

We were going to close our Verizon account completely, but listen to the "deals" and $ monthly total worksheet and thought it was going to be what we were looking for. Then EVERYTHING we were promised fell through!!! I'm beyond pissed. We had to visit the store 5-6 times to try to figure everything out and STILL we were screwed over. We had three phones and one tablet on our account. Two phones were ready for upgrade. One of those phones we wanted to remove all together (phone 1). Since they're a 3rd party retailer, they couldn't take off the one phone. They said we just had to call to remove it. That should have been our first sign. We were reassured that it would be no problem. The second phone (phone 2) that was ready for upgrade went pretty smooth. The computer wouldn't activate it that night so we had to come back the next morning (Sunday). It went through fine that day. Also that day, we were told that we could upgrade the third phone (phone 3) using the upgrade from the first phone before we canceled that line. So we agreed. We were offered a "free" tablet with $10 service for data, BUT "Don't worry!" we were supposed to be able to remove our old tablet from the account and continue to pay the $10 that we were already paying (although we would have to pay $75 for early cancellation). The reason I picked the phone I did (LG G4 and not the LG V10 for phone 3) is because it had a $200 rebate. Sweet! $200 back! They filled out all the paperwork for me, addressed the envelope and all I needed was a stamp. I got home, looked online if I could submit my rebate there and..."Invalid Sales Receipt Date". WTF?! I text the person that helped us and he told us to go back to the store. They told us there was an extended date and he must have given us the wrong paper. So they showed us the "new" deal and it was the same ad but different date. Filled out more papers and again, I just needed a stamp. Mailed it in the next day. Called Verizon to have the one phone and tablet removed from my account. I knew I had to pay a cancellation, but the Verizon person on the phone said it was going to be $225! WTF?! She said because the upgrade from phone 1 used for phone 3, the end service date was then tacked on to phone 1 and this is the fee for both the phone and tablet to be removed. O.O Contacted Diamond Wireless and they told us to go to the store again to figure it out. Nothing was figured out. He was able to move around numbers and take off one gig of data to bring our cost down until the user agreement ends but we're still paying the same (actually a little more) than we were paying before PLUS we have one less gig of data...AND I have a teenager. At least I still get my $200 rebate, right?....WRONG!!! I got a postcard the other day that the sales receipt date is INVALID!!! If I knew that I wasn't going to get the rebate, I would have chosen the newer LG V10 phone! Screw every going back to this place. It's no sense to contact them again. I've spent enough time there trying to figure it out. We get to pay for our mistake, but we will never trust this place again. We'll make sure that we go to an actual Verizon store next time...IF we stay with Verizon. End result: Still three phones and tablet + one more tablet and an extended end service date. Thanks for nothing! If I wasn't so nice, I would include this associates name. We bought him dinner the first night because he "helped" us even after the store closed...now I wish we never walked in there! read more

I went down to this store a few days ago and bought 2 phones from Angel Mellon, who was the sales person handling our questions at the time. She was personable and very sweet... she was also exceedingly helpful and answered all of my questions. I have already recommended her to a few of my coworkers and will gladly suggest that my friends see her as well if they find themselves in need of a new phone or two. 10/10 would Verizon again, especially if all of them are as nice and funny as Angel is. I stopped by the store with the intention of upgrading my phone. I was greeted by Angel who asked if she could help me. I told her I was just here to pick up a new phone as my upgrade date was yesterday. I told her I had been to a store in Kent and the salesperson there tried to really upsell items. Having been in retail management I understand the idea of upselling customers. I told Angel I didn't appreciate this and she understood and gave me the service & consideration I had hoped for. Unfortunately the phone I wanted was not available but she took my information and will call me when the phone is ready to be picked up. Her actions was above & beyond normal customer service.
