The day mom died my dad tested positive for COVID along with kidney trouble and was admitted to hospital. I continued to ask for a leave to be with family and denied. I missed a lot of work cause COVID was involved. When I called to say my Dad died I was given phone numbers to find a replacement. The day my dad was buried they texted me twice asking for proof of the funeral. This was horrible for me n my family and no other siblings had trouble like that with their jobs. We all missed lots of work. I then received a letter saying I was terminated for missing 3 days in a row. Saddest time ever, and I wasn't granted a leave because of discrimination and poor management. They literally had no one to replace me cause it was that difficult to work there. My parents things went to restore and I won't donate to Goodwill again.

His info was different from mine, that I have had for the 4 or 5 years we have owned the refrigerator. He was patient, but somehow he had the wrong instructions. What he should had seen is on page 17 of the owner's manual. See below. I knew the filter was supposed to be turned 1/4 a turn, but what he was looking at was different. It said just push the filter into the receptacle. Wrong model? The filter would not turn, he said, even in the new receptacle. How did it work according to the manual for several years and now has changed? Anyway, he pushed the filter in straight with no rotation, and water flowed. So he took the new part he had ordered and left. We can hope all continues to work. How could he have the wrong instructions? Is this GE's fault? I can't fathom it. Anyway, a nice guy, and so far the filter is working even tho it was installed incorrectly.

The order proceeded to the end of the process, still indicating there was a $36 charge and even with the entry of the "promo code", the order amount was not indicated as reduced. There were no indications that this would be processed at "no cost". Step 2, call customer service: Customer Service indicated that every account must have a credit card on file/record. Reputable businesses today provide the consumer with the ability to save or retain credit card information, but this is the organization is requiring/mandating it. With all of the data leaks and breaches today, for a company to insist on having credit card information, especially for a "No Charge" item, on their system and in their files is risky and should be concerning for anyone looking to do business with this company.

Customer service has always helped me with anything I needed help with.
