I went to this location a year ago, and they helped me find a great plan that fits my budget. They said the plan was only good for one year. I came back and waited 40 minutes to see someone. I was okay with that because it was a busy day there. The young lady who helped me said for the same plan; I would have to pay more because there were new expenses. The best she could do was pay more for the same basic plan. She gave me a scrap of paper that had written one price in pencil. I figured there was no choice. She had me okay it. I got home to see a shipping notification. It didn't say for what. Today, I got a new Wi-Fi, which I didn't ask for, and I had no idea I was getting it for 234 dollars. I am paying more for the same basic package, but they added new equipment without asking. There is now a $235 cancellation fee on my plan. Believe me, when this year is up, I will cancel Xfinity and go with another company. read more

Got a new iPhone at this store and were served really well by Ken with the salt'n pepper hair. He was very patient with me, and never a know-it-all as I slowly made decisions. Although an Android user himself, he didn't try to sway me away from Apple, and patiently researched and shared specs of the several iPhones I was considering. read more

With the huge selection of phones, we were able to choose the best phone for a great value. I walk in with my fam to grab a prepaid SIM card, told the person what we needed, don't seem to be very thrilled that we "only" came for a prepaid card, yes, that made me uncomfortable, then he goes to grab his iPad and start the process but as new customers walk in he greets them and starts talking to them, left us hanging there. I purchased a screen protection for my iPhone 15 from T-Mobile in Saint Charles. My girlfriend has T-Mobile I have Verizon. I was convinced to not only get the screen protector to get the added protection plan as well. I generally don't use a screen protection, as I usually don't drop my phone, but this time I did, it worked well but it cracked the screen protection. I thought I would go into the store and get a new replacement under my protection plan. It was greeted friendly guy that said to wait a few minutes. I waited 15 minutes. I was hoping a big fella that had a lot of tattoos. I didn't catch his name, but he was less than helpful. He never even looked up my account or my receipt which I did not bring in. He simply stated we don't offer that plan unless you have an T-Mobile account. I was told differently and I paid extra for it. I took my screen off told him thank you very much. And I explained to him that is why I'm sticking with Verizon. I usually don't write negative reviews but this one set me to a great morning. No apologies where I'm sorry or anything. I had a great experience with La Don and the staff at this location. La Don was very helpful in accommodating my need to purchase a phone for my mother who lives out of state. The entire staff was extremely friendly. And for me, an added bonus was that the majority of them, if not all, were photographers. I know there's a lot of choices of where you can buy a phone from T-Mobile, especially with the merger but Sprint, but if you're in the Wheaton area check these guys out. read more

We were switching 5 lines from AT&T to T-Mobile, and when talking on the phone to their corporate lines, we couldn't get a straight answer on how complicated it was going to be. My 80-something year old parents are using iphone 4s-es and have no desire to upgrade. 2 of the phones are brand new, and were only just unlocked - so - some told us to erase the phones entirely - some said the 4s-es would be ok, but not get 4G, only 3G some said the 4s-es would have to be entirely replaced... Nelson and Allen made this quick and simple. In less than an hour all 5 phones were working. Even tho it wasn't needed, they offered to transfer all the 4s info to an old SE we had brought (just in case). Other places told us we'd have to port it all ourselves. They told us about the Netflix special. Their final price included taxes and fees (no hidden costs). They even said if my 85 year old dad was the primary account holder we'd get cheaper rates cuz he's a veteran. We chose this store (even tho it was 30 min from home) cuz it was a corporate store and near my parents' home. We will make this trip every time from now on, and will send all our friends here too! read more

Walked in to switch my current cellphone service provider to T-Mobile, but nobody greeted me when I walked in and you can't tell who works there. Finally, I found someone at the desk but he directed me to a guy that was dressed like he was running weekend errands, but then he walked away and assisted people that walked in after me. Now I had to wait. No thanks. They let a potentially new customer walk right out the door without asking what I came in for. Instead of an apology, the guy said, "Whoops...my bad." Also no thanks. This is a T-Mobile store, not Hot Topic. A little professionalism would be nice. Found an AT&T store down the street and they were eager and delighted to have me as a new customer. A little more expensive than T-Mobile, but they seem to have it together at their retail stores. read more

Was just here today. I live right next door so I came here first when I wanted to buy a new phone. I was interested in the iPhone 8+. When I asked the guy if they had any he said no and when I asked if he could see if any other stores had them he said "not easily." (The store was completely empty, why not help me out) I didn't get a good vibe from him so I walked out and called other stores. I talked to Riley at the Lisle store and he was so friendly and helpful I drove the extra 10 minutes to buy the iPhone XS from him instead. Go there instead. read more

I may have found my new favorite T-mobile store. This review is pretty much based around the hype of the new Iphone 6. My former favorite store was in Woodridge at 75th/Lemont, though I learned the dude I bought my phone from two years ago is no longer there... he made that store, not so much the store itself. (My review for that store is on yelp as well). So flash back to the present day, I'm in the market to upgrade my phone. Before the Iphone came out I called the store in Woodridge asking if I should pre-order or if I needed to come in based on wanting to change my plan, etc. I spoke with the manager there and he said I should come in and he was helpful about it. The day this new phone comes out in stores... I left work early to go in to make my purchase so before I drove out to a store I wanted to make sure it would be worth my while. I called the Woodridge store - they didn't get the particular phone in stock that I wanted and have no idea when they will be getting it in. Onto the Bolingbrook store... they were less than helpful, they didn't think any stores in the area got the phone, and have no idea about anything really. So I called store #3, this particular store I'm reviewing here and I spoke with Kathy. Kathy informed me that the stores in the area never got the phone but I can come in and they'll order the phone for me as they're getting shipped out in 1-2 days though the longer I wait the longer it takes to get delivered. I told her I was on my way! When I got in, she was on lunch so Brett helped me - everything went smooth, the other associates there were taking care of customers and were friendly. I guess it was busier in the morning that day with the new Iphone hype so I lucked out with my timing but I was in and out and everything was taken care of. I hope to get my phone today or tomorrow as promised but I'm sure I will return to this store should I have any future issues. read more

I'm giving this T Mobile Location two stars instead of one because the first time I went there I was greeted in a prompt fashion and was told that within a few minutes someone would be assisting me with my purchase. the second time around which happens to be today I arrived at T Mobile at maybe 2:50 p.m. and was not greeted, nor did anyone take the time to have me sign in or acknowledge my presence. I looked at a few phones, walked around the store and after 10 minutes of being completely ignored I left. The store was not busy at all there were two employees maybe 3 and maybe three customers including myself. as a tmobile customer of many years I am very disappointed in the service and rather upset because I needed a new phone and now I have to drive to a different tmobile. read more

Pretty awful service from this store, pegged directly to the manager on duty. The front line staff super friendly and totally understood the situation, but they said they couldn't help without manager override. Manager without hearing situation just says no, then starts to bad mouth the service I had purchased as worthless. I got the vibe he wasn't helpful because I had the lowest service level and without me coughing up more money right there, he was not going to help maintain my service. Sad for Tmobile, because since I had just gotten this new service the day before (over the internet), I called corporate and just canceled it completely. Front line staff super nice, manager of store, with no desire to solve a customers problem and awful behavior led to a lost customer. read more

I transferred my phone number from T-Mobile to Comcast On the 12th of September, 3 days before my next prepaid bill was due on the 15th of September. Within the last week I received a notice of collection, t-mobile is claiming that I owe them $61.00. Spoke with customer service representative name Sean who was very unhelpful and didn't appear to care about my issue considering that I'm no longer a T-Mobile customer. He said it was up to me to call them and straighten out the problem and that he won't even bother to look up my account or to assistant in any way. The reason I went to the store for help is because I've already spent 2.5 hours on hold with no resolution over the course of 2 separate phone calls. read more

Useless manager. My wife and I have been to this location multiple times and have had really bad experiences with their manager. All the other employees are nice and friendly except the manager. She was of no help. She was very condescending in her approach. I left with a permanent eye twitch from being so angry. read more

Have never had an issue here. I love t-mobile, the pay as you go plan is great for me as a young adult who has her first phone bill. I love all the workers there, they know what they are talking about and they can almost sell me a "contract". I don't how ever like waiting in store, I know its a cell phone so be prepared to wait 10-20 minutes in between people but don't expect to have this place be a go in and out in seconds flat experience. But all in all a great store. read more

Pretty good service here. They always walk me through exactly what I'm doing and in layman's terms so I don't get confused. Helped me with a cracked screen and got me on as an authorized user. Expect it to be crowded and appear understaffed when a new phone comes out. They do the best they can, just like any phone store at that time. read more

I only had to purchase a phone charger which should be a quick transaction. When I asked the employee to check out some the charger, she said I would have to wait for other customers ahead of me who were asking several questions about the phones and were browsing. If you have hours to wait in line, this place is great. I will never come back here again. I highly recommend you avoid here at all costs. Rude employees and inefficient customer service. read more

We have had one of the worst customer service experiences ever with T-mobile and my pre-paid smartphone. The phone broke before it was a year old (and still under warranty). When we tried to have it repaired or replaced, several stores (including this one - we went to several) claimed to "fix" a problem with a recent software update and sent us on our way. The phone was obviously not fixed and would not even turn on. So then the T-Mobile manager told us they'd send a new one within 3 days. No phone arrived. We called, and were told, 'oh, I forgot, since you have a pre-paid phone, you have to mail your broken phone in first and wait for a replacement.' Not convenient, but ok, I guess that's the catch with a pre-paid phone. We mailed it to the T-Mobile place in Texas. Waited a week. No phone. Called Texas - they have lost my phone in their warehouse and will have to "track" it, which may take three more days to resolve (before they even start fixing it). Meanwhile, because of all of these stupid delays, I have to go to a major conference for work with no smartphone, a significant disability in my industry where I am expected to be connected to social media and email all of the time. The free loaner phone they provided is very basic and can barely even text. My colleagues found it very humorous. Whatever. I did finally get my new phone (after I got back home), but when I went to T-mobile to turn in the loaner and have my number and data transferred back to my own phone, they couldn't help me because apparently I need a PIN number! Which I have never used. They were not apologetic or helpful about finding any kind of resolution. They don't appear to care much about the quality of their products or the happiness of their customers. This has been extremely frustrating and time-consuming. read more
