They were doing work for my next-door neighbor in our connected townhome in Marietta, Georgia. As part of that job, their technician needed to work from my roof in order to cut through my neighbor's exterior wall and install the clothes dryer vent cap. While the work was being done, a tool slid down the roof and struck the hood of my 2020 GMC Yukon. Obviously, that was not something I expected to happen, and I was concerned about how the company would handle it since I was not the customer who had hired them and had no contract with them. I contacted Dryer Vent of Atlanta, and Ben, the owner's son, took responsibility for the situation personally. From the beginning, there was no argument over what happened and no attempt to avoid the issue. He simply focused on getting the damage repaired properly. Ben told me to choose any repair shop I wanted. There was no pressure to use a shop selected by the company or to accept the cheapest option. I chose a GMC dealership near my home because that was where I felt comfortable having the repair done. When the dealership set the appointment, Ben met me there and sat in on the meeting with the body shop representative. He was there while the repair was discussed and made sure everything was understood. After that, he personally took me to the rental car agency and arranged for a rental vehicle while my Yukon was in the shop. About a week later, the repair was completed. I returned the rental car and picked up my Yukon from the dealership. The entire process was handled without any unnecessary complications. There was no runaround, no arguing over the repair, no pressure to go somewhere else, and no effort to minimize what had happened. I cannot speak to the quality of Dryer Vent of Atlanta's installation or dryer vent work because I was never their customer. What I can speak to is the way the company treated me when something went wrong during a job they were doing for someone else. To me, that says a lot about the people who own and operate the company. It is easy for a business to be pleasant when everything goes as planned. The real test is what happens when there is an accident, especially when the person affected is not the one paying the bill. In my experience, Dryer Vent of Atlanta handled that situation with accountability, integrity, and respect from start to finish.

Every question I had about anything his answer was call 611. When it came time to complete setup for tablet he didn't know how to insert a SIM properly and tried for 20min before asking me to do it (at which point I made clear I didn't know how). I inserted SIM wrong so when we removed tray the SIM was at end where tray goes. This guy proceeds to sit in the floor and use sim tool digging around in tablet until the SIM was no longer visible. His resolution was that I would have to buy another SIM. These issues continued until I requested he call someone for help and he never contacted support, only his "manager" who didn't answer phone. At this point only 1 device is active and he expected me to leave store with non working device. I requested a refund in which case he said no problem and failed to mention until necessary there would be a "restock fee." I was told the restock fee was $35.10. The restock fee was actually $110 which was $35.10 more than what I had already paid. He authorized payment without giving me proper information. Left store with no devices, 2 new lines, and $75 less than what I went in with. Instead of having manager call in am like I was told I had to call them at 11:30 in which I was told manager was on lunch. Had to call back from daughters phone bc my calls were then being ignored. Was finally told at 1:30 the manager would return from lunch at 2:30???? (3 hr lunch?) The manager didn't try to do anything except make excuses and "refund" a partial "refund" that I won't receive until they close register. Left with nothing, called higher ups and was informed that they didn't even cancel the lines, they only cancelled installments. If I hadn't called to verify, I wouldve ended up charged a months service for 2 devices Ive never had possession of. These representatives take no accountability, have ZERO customer service skills and are completely incompetent. Go to ANY at&t store BUT THIS ONE!
