Today was my first time coming here. I made appointment early online and they followed up with a text. I wanted Gel X nails which the website states as 60.00. To have my cuticle trimmed was an extra 8.00 then for cat eye polish was an extra 10.00. Total for nails 78.00. My complaint is that they only do one coat of cat eye polish. I questioned them about doing two coats like the last salon I had been to, and he replied the polish is sticky and they only do one coat. The color is not vibrant at all. My technician was great but I really wanted two coats to keep the color vibrant. I went back the next day and they accommodated two coats. Looks great and I would go back again. read more

All the ladies greet you with a warm smile and make you feel welcome. The receptionist working the front desk (Alice) was very friendly and seated me right away. I was lucky enough to have Emmi do my gel manicure. I appreciate how meticulous and careful she was and how she managed to match my inspo pictures exactly. The pedicure itself was lackluster. The callus and dry skin removal was minimal, which is one of the main reasons I choose a higher-tier pedicure, especially during sandal season. I also felt pain and saw that I received a cut on my big toe during the service, which should not happen during a pedicure. The massage portion was listed as 10 minutes, and while the timer was started, it did not feel like an actual massage. It felt more like lotion being applied, with very little pressure or technique. There was also very little guidance when I was seated. The massage chair was not turned on for me, and I didn't end up using it properly until later, so I didn't get the benefit of that part of the service. For color, I was originally looking for a sheer or jelly nude tone, but they did not have any available. As an alternative, I chose a cat eye gel because it can give a soft, glossy, glass-like effect. The cat eye gel upgrade felt like a waste of money. The posted cost of the upgrade is $10, but it's $15 if included in a pedicure. Unfortunately, the technician painted all 5 toenails at once and cured them before I could stop her. After that, she attempted to create the cat eye effect on a second coat, but it did not work because that's not how cateye polish is meant to be applied. She was unable to produce any visible effect, and I ultimately told her to stop and just finish as a regular gel. It just irks me that I paid $15 for a $10 polish, and it's not at all what I want it to look like. I also want to note that the tools were not opened in front of me...which is worrying since she cause an injury. Luckily, I was her first customer of the day, so I'm hoping they were clean even though the clippers appeared to have already been handled. I cannot speak to their sterilization process, but it did not give the same level of confidence I've experienced at other salons where tools are opened from sealed packages in front of the client. They did give me a 10% discount, which I appreciated. When I mentioned I usually prefer sheer or jelly nude tones, they said they may try to bring those in for the future, which I thought was a nice gesture. However, between the injury, the lack of proper technique on the polish, and the overall execution of what is supposed to be a premium service, this was not a good experience. I am not someone who typically leaves 1-star reviews. in fact, I started off intending to leave a two or three star review, but as the list of disappointments grew, I felt 1-star was the more honest ranking based on my experience. read more

This was my first time at this nail salon. I saw the great reviews and they did not lie! Han did my Gel-X manicure and Nicky did my pedicure. Both ladies were very sweet and attentive. I showed pictures to Han and she delivered exactly what I wanted. Since this was my first time doing Gel-X she explained every step of the process and was very efficient yet meticulous. Nicky did a great job on my pedicure and gave me a very relaxing leg massage. The salon is small but very clean and they have a ton of color choices. I came here for a second visit with my mother this past Thursday because our first experience was great. Unfortunately, this visit was completely different. My mother and I had our pedicures done by a gentleman who was very kind and clearly trying his best. He mentioned he was new and had only been there for two weeks. I understand everyone has to learn, so I was patient and respectful throughout the service. However, the pedicures were not done correctly. Important steps were skipped, including cuticle care and cleaning around the nails, and the gel application looked thick and uneven. The gel polish also started peeling the very next day, whereas my previous pedicure from this salon lasted almost four weeks. I called on Saturday and spoke with the manager, Daisy, who told me to come back Monday. During that call, there was no apology or concern about the experience, and I felt more dismissed than helped. I explained that the entire pedicure had been done improperly, not just one or two nails, but she insisted they would only "fix the messed up nails." When we returned Monday, the manager was not there. I explained the situation and even offered to pay the difference to have the services fully redone, assuming there would be some reasonable accommodation considering we had to come back due to poor workmanship. Instead, we were told they would only redo the color but still charge for the full pedicure service again, offering just 10% off. What bothered me most was the attitude we received. From the moment we mentioned the issue, the employees began talking amongst themselves and treated us very coldly. There was no apology, no accountability, and no effort to provide customer service. The man translating was especially rude and ignored my mother when she tried speaking to him, eventually having another female employee take over her pedicure instead. She was very nice and understanding with my mother. I was charged $80 with a discount of $8 making my total $72. Customers should be able to respectfully address concerns about a service without feeling dismissed or unwelcome. I remained calm, paid for the service, and left, but overall this was a very disappointing experience and I will not be returning. read more

Clean shop. Wide variety of colors. Woman working the front desk was very helpful- loved her. She helped out with selecting colors and when there was a miscommunication with the pedicurist. The pedicurist took her time- loved her too! I thought this was going to be my new nail shop until the manicurist sliced my finger with the nail file after the gel cured. Overall, she was a bit rough and seemed to be paying more attention to the other customers across the room at the manicure station. Too busy looking at them as she used the back of the brush to clean two of my nails. Though she was efficient and nails look nice, I would prefer to have a pain/ injury free experience. In the beginning it was going good, pedicure went very well. Nail set wasn't a good service the lady that did my nails cut 2 of my fingers with the file and my cuticle of another 2 fingers. The lady said that my nails were too small, when I've gone to several salons and with home based nail techs and nobody has ever cut me. The lady would check my finger and wouldn't care until the lady from reception came and asked if I was ok she was really nice and caring and gave me a bandaid. Also lady didn't know how to do a 3D flower which looked bad, wasn't what I wanted, the picture I had shown had 4 3D Flowers's and she said it's ok with one because the others are extra, when it's my choice to do my nails how I want, at the end of the day wasn't how I wanted them.
