Honestly hard to review. When it comes to staff they were very sweet, fast and took me right in. I was loving the idea inspo we did and it was coming out great until another customer came in and it seemed like that person spooked everyone. So at that point my tech was trying to hurry up, rushing just to now get to that other person. Sadly my nails are already starting to chip, the cuticle area isn't cleaned up well and there are lots of air bubbles. I feel like it could have definitely turned out better if that lady didn't walk in and honestly disrupt everyone there to move from chair to chair, ask for a charger and demand stuff.

I used to be a long nail girly but have converted fully to short nails and both times I got the acrylic overlay and I absolutely love it, it's a service that does NOT include tips but you would never know!! Mt nails look like short acrylic nails with tips but they're not.....thank you Torrance T !! I love my nails and the service I received both times....amazing!!

I got my nails done for my graduation. Gel x. Literally a week later my index finger on my right hand lifted. I came back and they fixed it. The my right thumb lifted. Did the fix it when I went back? No, they didn't. What did they do for the lifting on my thumb? The nail tech LITERALLY TOOK NAIL GLUE TO GLUE IT ON!!!!! That is absolutely ridiculous. It was clearly a shit job done by shit people. When I told her that I could have glued it myself instead of coming here for her to fix it, she responded by saying that I don't have the top coat. Um yes actually I do. Don't waste your time, money, and energy for a shitty experience. I AM NEVER EVER COMING BACK!

Been to many nail salons and this was probably my worst experience... strangest technique to do a French manicure, was cut while being filed, and nail polish left all over. Found this place on Yelp with good reviews and was misled to come here.

I came with my daughter and got GelX for the first time on Saturday and yesterday (day 4) her nail had fallen and my nails looked like I had gotten them done weeks prior and one of the nails looks like the glue is coming off. Julie fixed my daughter's nail and said that my nails was just because my nails had grown out and she wouldn't even look at them more than once. Julie fixed my daughter's nail and at the last step she said "when the light turns off you can go" and got up and left. She was very rude and for the price I payed it is not worth us coming back! Reply to Kevin: Just as rude as your staff. And clearly you know exactly who we were by your response. Those are my hands if you did not read or are unable to understand the review. I clearly said that Julie fixed my daughter's nails. Why would I post her hands when you fixed it? I posted mine which you or your staff did not acknowledge they were not properly done!

My nail service was okay. The two ladies who did my nails were sweet but it wasn't like the inspo picture I showed them. It didn't bother me too much but don't come here if you're really picky about that sort of thing. Unfortunately, the lady who applied my gel x nails did them incorrectly. The hot gel got onto my skin & I regret not saying anything. Afterwards, I noticed the cured gel overflowed between my real nails and the fake ones. This was a first for me. I appreciate the techs for attempting the design I wanted but overall I hope they are better trained in applying nails especially since it was a bit painful & I know someone else probably would've been more mad over it. I did return the next day to shave the excess gel down but it barely made a difference. At least it was free. Will not be returning but I hope this helps for future customers!

Owner reached out to rectify the issue. I came back to the salon, and they were incredibly nice and understanding. They were very busy when I came and could not accommodate me, but they offered to schedule me in for an appointment and was very helpful. Due to scheduling issues on my part, I wouldn't be able to come back for another week to do the repair but I still really appreciated their willingness to help!!

Yelp connected me with Torrance T Nails for a Sunday visit. Service was fast and the nail Tech didn't try to add additional services. Thankful for that bc nothing turns me off more when I get my nails done and the tech just nickel and dime you for anything they can to add to my gel manicure. The guy was super fast and used an airbrush machine to do mauve french tip on my pink nail colors. The location is in a small strip mall with lots of nail stations and spa chairs. Nothing fancy inside but it is clean. read more

Great technical work, but the customer service needs a serious overhaul I really want to love this place and give them a better rating, but consistency is a major issue here. I've visited about four times now, and each trip just reminds me why I don't come back more often: while the men on the team offer fantastic service, the women working there consistently lack warmth, smiles, or basic hospitality the moment you walk through the door. The Good: The guy who did my manicure is amazing--super nice, friendly, and did a great job on my nails. The woman who handled my pedicure was also wonderful, and her work was top-notch. The Not-So-Good: The nail tech doing my design, however, didn't even bother to say hello. Throughout the service, she never asked how I was doing or checked if everything looked okay. My cuticles were left looking really rough, and she skipped the basic courtesy of applying any oil or lotion at the end. In fact, it was so bad that I ultimately asked her to skip the design on my ring fingers because I didn't want to draw any more attention to it. Ironically, my pedicure technician was the one who noticed how dry my hands looked and kindly handed me some oil. To top it off, when the tech finishing my nails was done, she didn't even say thank you. The Verdict: At $130 for a Gel-X set, the baseline expectation is that your cuticles will look presentable and you'll receive basic courtesy. If you go here, hope you get seated with one of the male technicians who actually cares about the client experience! read more

Good spot for a Sunday pedicure. I chose this salon because they stay open until 7 PM on Sundays, which is later than most other places in the area. I went in on a Sunday afternoon and was seated immediately with no wait. It wasn't crowded, so the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. I got a basic silver gel pedicure, and they have massage chairs you can use while they work on your toes. Overall, it was a straightforward, peaceful experience. Definitely an option if you need a late-weekend service. read more

I've been going to Jimmy for nails, Julie for waxing and all of the other wonderful staff there for years to get pedicures. When I moved to the area, I searched high and low, and this salon was the only one I could find that did gel fills and still had an airbrush machine, which I love! The salon is right around the corner from my house, so very convenient! Jimmy always does a great job and, like most women that have been getting their nails done for years, I'm super specific about how my nails look. We always have good conversation and I feel like I'm well taken care of there. I have sent many of my girlfriends to this nail salon and have taken both of my kids there, as well. read more

Nice vibe, cool staff. Make sure you bring cash because there are no credit card options. I visited twice and went to two different people that seemed nice and efficient. My pedicure has lasted and they offer different packages for nail services. First visit was on a weekday and it was cute and relaxing. My first time here today and I had an amazing experience. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and sat at a station. I was a "walk in", didn't have an appointment and they were able to take me in. I didn't have to wait too long for someone to come and begin on my nails. Am was my nail tech and she did such an amazing job. Her service great! She made sure I like it before moving on to the next step. This place is def my new nail spot to go too. A forever customer. read more

i would not recommend this salon. We had an appointment but were left sitting for almost 30 minutes with no service. Several people asked what color we wanted, then walked away without starting. When someone finally did begin, the nail tech was rough, jerking hands and pulling fingers with a bad attitude. It felt like they didn't want to be bothered at all. On top of that, when it came time to pay, they discouraged using a credit card and pushed for Zelle, cash, or Venmo. One tech even walked away when we tried to pay by card. This was completely unprofessional, and both my friend and I left very disappointed. Definitely not a place I would return to. read more

I've been to this nail salon a few times now and the people, the art, the nails!!, they all keep bringing me back. Wonderful service, amazing workers, and great music haha. Jimmy is so fun and is so passionate about his work. Julie never disappoints with the art she does. I'm literally always blown away. I've never been loyal to a nail salon before them :) My mother wanted to get her nails done for a trip and I told her to come here with me and we both got acrylic done today and she even told me how nice the people were and how happy she is with her set! She really liked Anna's work and is so grateful for the service as well! I highly recommend anyone to come here if they are looking for great nails and even better service!! :) read more

Was recommended this place & happy we went with it! I got a gel pedicure + my mom got a gel pedicure & hard gel manicure and it came out great! I loved the workers they were very kind & asked exactly how we wanted our nails. Luckily we came on a Thursday @ 1:30 and they were able to accommodate us immediately with other customers there too. Very peaceful vibe with the relaxing music & shows on the TV. The price was reasonable with competitive pricing. Very happy! 10/10! read more

While loved this place, I was a bit concerned that the cuticle tools and other things were not sanitized. I got a French manicure and it chipped off completely a few days later. I think that the best thing would be to do their gel manicure and a regular pedicure. You can't beat the price and everybody was nice. I may go back for a Gel manicure and regular pedicure and I may ask them to use products that I use or go first thing in the morning after their tools are sanitized. read more

Just tried this place for the first time. I had Anne who did my gel pedi and Jenn who did my gel mani. I needed to get in right away and they were very accommodating. They have a good selection of colors and options. The massage chairs are amazing and I was in and out in an hour! The women were so great, very courteous. I had just ran a half marathon and my toes were not pretty at all. Anne got me back to looking fresh! Very appreciative of their time and being so accommodating with my crazy schedule. Will definitely be back! And if you're wondering about price, they're very reasonable. read more

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I got a gel manicure and showed them a picture of what I wanted. Julie's husband was incredibly kind and helpful in helping me pick out the perfect colors to match my photo. Julie did an absolutely fantastic job on my nails -- they look just like the picture! I went during my lunch break, and I was impressed with how quickly she worked while still being so thorough. This is my 3rd time coming in for a gel mani and per usual they absolutely killed it. I always bring a reference photo in and each time it's perfection!! This place is 30 minutes away from where I live but I make the drive simply due to how good my nails come out, how long they last, and the reasonable price- on top of the fact that the staff are all so sweet. This is one time of my to go nail spas. Tracy is so sweet I love her personality and is great at her job. I always request her and she always remembers me. Every time I ask for my nails to be done by her I'm always impressed with her work. read more

I came in and they were pretty nice. I got Wendy since I didn't request anyone. Wendy came out to be a really sweet person and she knows how to do her job. I'll probably come again because I am literally best friends with Wendy now. read more

I haven't been to Torrance T Nail for a long while and I've missed it so much. Great service and always fantastic results! It is definitely still my favorite nail salon, so I totally recommend if you're searching for a new look! read more

so i went to their store the other day, it was my first time going to a nail salon, i was greeted properly. they do a really good pedicure and manicure , their massages that they gave were really calming and relaxing. read more
