Wow I've never seen a bigger nail salon! It doesn't look like much from the outside, it looks like your typical small nail salon from the outside in a strip mall. It's HUGE inside. There was probably 40-50 people inside getting their nails done. The lady at the front desk wasn't very friendly. I came for a pedicure with my sister. We tried to get our pedis at the same time and next to each other and our times were a bit staggered. Not too big of a deal. They have lots of color options, regular polish and gel. I got a standard regular polish and it looked great. No massage with the pedi. It definitely feels a bit like a factory because once you're done they immediately want you off the chair so they can start working on the next place. At least they're efficient! read more

I should have turned around as soon as I walked in and saw how packed this place was. The wait time was ridiculous. I realize I should have made an appointment, so I take responsibility for that. What I don't like is being told it'll be 20-30 minutes only to end up waiting an hour. I sat there and watched people who came in after I did get full mani/pedi services while I was left wondering if I'd been skipped. I don't think all of them had appointments - I'm not kidding when I say I waited longer than anyone else. Once I got sat down, my service was so rushed. The tech wasn't outright rude, but seemed impatient and annoyed. My hands got snatched up roughly with cuticle trimming and filing being done so quickly that it hurt. It's disappointing to wait and wait only to get a rushed, and honestly a bit sloppy, service. Receptionist lady is also not very friendly. No big deal though, I ended up trying something new. The green catseye turned out subtle but still shimmery, which I like. As usual, it was a quick in and out appointment. I've come here twice and have had a positive experience both times. Once with my mother (who also adored her nails) and once by myself. Ruby is an absolute artist. She's quick, precise, and gentle - truly great at her craft because I've never felt any pain unlike past salons I've been to. As she was finishing my French manicure, another woman was eagerly waiting for her turn to get her nails done by her. We had exchanged some small talk and she told me she's one of Ruby's regulars. She's THAT GOOD! Parking can be a hit or miss since the plaza includes a Vons, small mom & pop shop businesses, and a CVS - so aim to find parking at least 10 mins before your appointment. Also, I've seen mixed reviews about the receptionist. She was nice to me so I'd imagine any negative feelings towards her are from people who are late to their appointments or don't receive straight-forward, no BS comms all that well. Long time client and late to post a review! I absolutely love this nail salon, they remember me and greet me by name, Tiffany at the front although always busy is truly a very kind and sweet woman. My techs are all great, I don't have a favorite because everyone I get has done an incredible job on my xl gel x nails. I love that no matter how difficult the design they always have a tech for me. I am here without fail every 3-4 weeks and my husband loves their pedicures. The salon is clean, well lit, nice background music. Waxing and eyelash rooms are also clean and comfortable. read more

Been here twice now and not sure that I would return. I got builder gel both times and was not happy with how it turned out the second time. It was thick and uneven, and my nails started chipping after a couple of days. I do appreciate how they let you come in within a week of getting your nails done for a free fix, but I definitely felt unwelcome and like a burden for doing so! It was my mistake thinking that all nail techs were able to. The lady at the front desk was apologetic and informed me in the future to please send the design to their number and they'll assign a specific technician to me that will be able to do whatever design I had in mind. I've never waited more than 5 min to be seated, and I'm out the door with great looking nails on both my hands and feet each time. The salon is large with many manicurist. I have had a different person each time but I do believe you can request an appointment if wanted. The last time I came here I decided to treat my daughter to Christmas nails and we have had them on for 5+ weeks and they still look wonderful. What's even better is they give you a warranty paper when you leave so that if anything happens to your nails within the first week you can come back and they will fix it for you. I've been coming here for years! Getting $100 plus set of nails, religiously coming back every chance I get for a set of nails or gel manicure/ pedicure so I recently started bringing my daughters for kids mani/pedi (9 years old twins for reference). Today I rushed home after work to pick up my daughters to get to them before closing time (7pm Saturday), we are going out of town to celebrate my girls birthday and they had asked me to get their nails done for their bday trip. I knew they closed at 7pm today because like I've mentioned I've been coming here for years. Walked in a little before 6:30pm and the receptionist said they were closed that they close at 6:30. Confused that their hours had changed we walked back to our car really bummed out because this was the only chance we had to get my girls nails done before leaving the next morning early. I Went on maps to see any other local nail salons around and there lovely nails pops up and I noticed that on the website it's stated their closing time is indeed at 7pm..... upset I called the salon and of course the receptionist picks up I tell her about the hours online and how it says it closes at 7pm and she replied "we stop taking walk ins at 6:00 pm on Saturdays" so first she said they close at 6:30 on Saturdays and on the phone she changed it that at 6pm is the cut off time for walk ins. Had that not been the case my girls mani/pedi would have taken a max of 30 mins and I know because the times we've gone before in the past they have 2 girls working on them mani and pedi going at the same time and we would've been done by 7pm which is closing time. Very very upset about this I will be taking my business elsewhere, lovely nails has lost a loyal customer. Also a note to the owner or boss or whoever is in charge look into how much business this receptionist has lost you because from the reviews I'm seeing it actually looks like a substantial amount. read more

I found this place randomly as the place I normally go to was too crowded. I was recommended to get gel x vs tips yesterday as my nails are short. However, they turned out terribly. I kept complaining about how thick they were and I got no explanation except that that's how it supposed to be. When I was about to check out I asked the front desk if this is normal? And she said no and called the nail tech back over. I will say they did redo them today but I felt like the nail tech did not listen to exactly what I wanted and was rushing. I kept asking for shorter and he said the shape of my nail wouldn't look good shorter? I have been a loyal customer for about 5 years but I'm officially throwing in the towel. I stopped coming to get my nails done after the time, (photographed below) when I asked for a specific set but did not get what I asked for in the slightest. I had been there for 2hrs with a nail tech and her horrible attitude. I still tipped her 20% because I thought hey, maybe she just had an off day then I went home and took the $200 set off. Such a waste of time and money. I expressed that I didn't like the result but left anyway because I was over it at that point. Now I go to a nail tech that I adore and I don't deal with all this bs. However, I still kept going to lovely for pedi's but I'm DONE after this latest experience. The gaslighting and the overcharging is out of pocket. Vivian didn't put top coat on 2/10 of my toes so I had to go back. The new girl starts sanding off the chrome on my nails and I'm like no, I just needed top coat and since she sanded it off, it was uneven so she added ANOTHER coat of chrome now the two toes are way brighter than the rest. I point this out to the manager and they're both gaslighting me saying it's the same, I didn't even have the energy to argue since I had a long az morning & went out of my way to go back. I paid $97 for this pedicure and just looking at my toes it bothers me so much. $15 tip and FOR WHAT?? I'm not satisfied in the slightest. The pricing states Royal: regular polish $60 gel $70 is chrome an extra $12??? $1.20 per toe?? I feel like they just make up pricing as they go along now all of this just to be dissatisfied NAH I'm over it. I would have been happy if they would have just accepted their fault. I wouldn't be upset if the new girl would have just been honest about the fact that she sanded it off and added two layers of chrome but she lied even though I clearly saw her do it in front of me. I used to go to this nail salon a while ago. I really loved the work they would do. It does tend to be a bit pricy, but it's worth it. Ever since a few years ago, they upgraded the salon. There's waiting area, and also public restrooms. This nail salon is probably one of the best nail salons in the south bay. I've gotten acrylic nails a few times, although never gel. I can't remember which nail tech it was. But anyways, i would definitely recommend this salon to friends and family. They overall do a nice job. I's so bummed because I used to love this place. I went today after a couple years giving my nails a break. The lady who helped me was watching her phone while doing my nails and rushing. She couldn't even put the brush in the bottle because of whatever she's watching on her phone. The manicure part of my gel x hurt so bad. The gel burns and then she nicked my cuticle and didn't say sorry or anything for making me bleed. The base color isn't tan like I wanted it, it's pink :/ $90 later and the woman at the front desk didn't even apologize after seeing my nail bleeding. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. I came in for a simple gel fill on my long natural nails, which I've taken a long time to grow out. I told the tech it was okay to trim a little. She did check with me at first, and the first nail she cut was fine, but after that she started cutting each nail shorter and shorter without checking again! I told her after a couple of fingers to stop because she was carelessly cutting them. My nails ended up WAY shorter than I wanted, and the shape looked off because there wasn't enough length left to work with. Now I'm stuck with short, stubby nails when they were long and beautiful before. It was honestly SO upsetting because growing out natural nails takes time and care, and it was gone in seconds. When the owner came over, the tech said she had double checked with me, which is only partially true. She asked in the beginning, but then continued cutting more off each nail without confirming again. She was super careless and cutting way too fast. I tried to find a solution and asked if we could switch to Gel X at the gel price since my nails were now so short due to this. The owner refused and still wanted to charge full price. No apology, no empathy, nothing. Then proceeded to walk away. It really felt like all they care about is your money. This could have been EASILY fixed with even a small discount or some effort to make it right, but instead they chose not to. I used to love coming here but then stopped going because of the service then gave it a shot again. And now I will never be coming back again. The way they treat loyal customers is appalling. I don't feel like wasting my time and going back to a place that clearly doesn't do a quality job the first time around, even if it's to fix what they messed up. I went to this place based on their Instagram- super cool designs. I got a basic one color gel-x manicure- maybe it's because I didn't go to one of their mentioned nail techs ( I had ally ) but regardless the consistency should be held across the board and you should feel confident regardless of who you get. The minute I sat down she tried to up charge me for a "cat eye" design/polish and then rushed me when I said I'd like to look at the other colors. I had a very disappointing experience at this nail spa. I booked a regular manicure with French tip polish, pedicure, callus removal, and a sea salt scrub on legs and feet. At other salons, this service typically takes at least an hour, includes a proper massage, and allows adequate time for regular polish to dry. That was not the case here. The sea salt scrub was rushed and poorly done--there was no massage, barely any product used, and none applied to my feet, where callus removal was actually needed. The callus removal cream used was about the size of a quarter for both feet, and it was hardly scrubbed off. When I asked for more thorough removal, the technician told me I had "more callus than she had time to remove" and said she only had 5 minutes for both feet. I received the same response when I asked about the scrub. Concerned, I asked to speak with a manager to clarify what I had paid for versus what was being done. Instead of stopping, the technician began rinsing and drying my legs to prepare for polish--despite the service clearly not being finished. My manicure was equally frustrating. I specifically asked for no cutting, only filing, and to keep my length. I had to stop the technician from using nail clippers and repeat my request multiple times. She appeared confused about the nail shape and French tip style, so I showed her photos on my phone. She nodded and said she understood. While waiting for a manager, the pedicure technician walked away to start another client. I again had to ask for a manager. A woman came over, apologized, and said the pedicure would be restarted from the beginning. However, she turned out not to be a manager, but the cashier. Communication among staff was clearly lacking. Eventually, another technician came over and only applied polish, despite being told the pedicure would be redone from the start. No one followed through on what was promised. After 2 hours and 15 minutes, I left with unfinished services, confusion, and frustration. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and rushed, incomplete work were unacceptable. Unfortunately, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this salon. read more

The whole situation felt very unprofessional and made me feel bad for the employees. It was obvious they were afraid of her. This isn't the first time I've seen this type of behavior at this salon. In the past, I've heard her yelling at employees, and although I don't understand the language, I could tell it wasn't pleasant. Because of this, I've decided I won't be coming back. We have been there twice to have my fiancé. 's nails done and both times nails have fallen off within 2 to 3 days due to the glue issues. They have not stood behind their work either.
