Unfortunately, everything went downhill at checkout... I was told my total for just the fill was $98.64 BEFORE tip. I was genuinely shocked. I've had this exact service done at multiple salons in Orlando for $50-$60! For the price I paid at Nails by Mercedes for just a fill, I could have gotten a fill along with a pedicure anywhere else. I immediately expressed my surprise to the gentleman at the checkout desk, but he seemed completely uninterested and unbothered. Had pricing been communicated upfront, I would have declined the service and gone elsewhere. The lack of transparency is what made my experience especially frustrating. While the work itself was fine, it simply was not worth the extreme markup they are charging. If you're considering coming here, be sure to ask for full pricing in advance, otherwise you may end up with an unexpectedly overpriced bill. I personally won't be returning.

Most people complain about the silliest things while leaving out good factors about the business. I am giving UP beauty lounge this positive 5 star review because of my mom and how I seem they treat her. I booked my massages through Groupon. I bought a one hour massage and then another for 2 hour massage. All of these Groupons were expired but I was able to use them, not only that but the promotion they were having for 2 hour massage had also ended but they honored it without any questions asked. I've taken my mother to several massage places and she always complains that they barely massaged her or that they focused too much on one area other than the other...but not with Up beauty lounge. When I picked up my mom she was so happy. She looked refreshed and overall completely satisfied with the service and attention to detail she received. Her review was so great I had to try it out for myself and she was right. The location is clean, modern, smells great and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Worth the money. Will visit again soon!

They renovated the salon with new wall decor, light fixtures and signage. They have even MORE colors. This place always had more colors than anyone else but it's really impressive how many styles and colors they have. More new ones even since my last visit in November. Total cost for the structure gel mani and regular gel pedi was $105. This is a good deal; their prices are below surrounding areas. The salon is comfortable- they have nice massage chairs and they turn the AC on. It does not have the odor of chemicals or moth balls, like some salons do. During my apt, two men came in for pedicures, 5 women for various services, so I'd say it was busy for a Monday. Call and get an apt so you don't have to wait. Same day is fine too. Walk ins has to wait about 10-15 min, which isn't bad. I highly recommend this salon. I've been many places. The quality of color and their attention to detail is fantastic. And the price is right!

I showed up when I thought I made the appointment for. There was another customer that walked in just in front of me and she sat in awaiting area. I asked her if there was a receptionist and she said she just text her stylist to let her know she was there. I had never been there before and didn't request a particular person. Also, no phone number like that was provided to me. I looked around and could only find two staff members in the middle of cutting other people's hair. They have no receptionist and were completely ignoring me. After walking around the front and side entrance area for about 15 minutes someone finally came out. She apologized saying that she thought I was friends with the other lady and that's why she didn't check on me. She went to look up my appointment and found that it was supposed to be the week prior somehow. she was nice enough to make me an appointment for the following week and I was not charged that other deposit. When I came back the following week for my appointment, the stylist was about 10 minutes late and took forever to cut my hair. It's a simple haircut and took an entire hour without washing or styling. She also took a couple phone calls from her daughter during my appointment and apologized multiple times stating that was out of the ordinary. She was very nice but I would not come back here. During my first visit, I noticed a sign on the front entrance that there was absolutely no children allowed. When I was waiting to be helped, I noticed there was a child about eight years old that seemed to be one of the stylists' children that was in the main work area watching cartoons while people are getting their haircut. This is not a professional salon. I was really hoping this would be a good place. It was a similar haircut to what I received at Great Clips but took four times as long.
